/r/BadSubHub, or the Badpire for short, is a subreddit simply meant to keep track of the many /r/badsubs in the growing empire. Although its primary use is to act as a way of cataloging subreddits that fall under the bad subs category, it can also be use to share ideas, and thoughts about the state of the badpire, and ways of improving our collection of subreddits.

Mods in r/legal advice deleting all comments partaining to a child abuse case due to "personal opinions" on severity of abuse

They claim that "one slap in the face" (one that OP claimed left visible marks on his daughters face and neck, and devolved into a verbal abuse situation when he intervened.) isn't serious enough/doesn't present enough evidence to get police or CPS involved, and that it's most likely a futile attempt since "it was only one time". All comments that were telling him to document the incident or press charges were deleted promptly. Only ones left up were telling him that he shouldn't report it, or to take it to court to try and get custody. How do they expect OP to get custody without reporting incidents? yet this sub claims to be an unbiased place for legal advice...hmm. Apparently they believe that abuse of a child has to be "severe" enough to get law enforcement involved.

Hey dumbasses this sub is not for you to complain about subs which you believe are bad.

Title. Go complain somewhere else (or just don't).

List of bad subs for redesign users(The unofficial bad sub-hub side bar)

I could not help but notice that the all inclusive bad sub list from the side bar is not visible in the reddit re-design version of this page. I wanted to fix that problem with this post. I also heard that the mods are not active at the moment, and so will be adding new bad sub sugestions to this post as the unofficial all inclusive list of bad subs

Highlight from Ask Reddit - This what we were made for?

https://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/c87m4s/what_moment_in_an_argument_made_you_realize_this/

Ask reddit has has posted a periodical call for bad arguments people have come across.

We have bad science , bad medical advice , bad logic , bad housekeeping , bad roommates , bad customers , bad friends , bad legal advice

It is a real collection of badness. How can we capitalize on this?

r/zenjerk

#Description Zen has its roots, or more appropriately, its leaveslol cuz tea , in China—much like the tiny silkworm or the mighty redwood. Both have a Buddha-nature and yet you deny yours. Why do you do this? It is not because you are a jerk. No, it is because you fear the unity more than you fear the disunity. But, do not be afraid! It is the nature of Zen that you should learn not to fear such trivial things, as well as how to stare at rocks. Zen brings much good and light into being, it is the one true quality of life that cannot be bottled, for it is not a liquid, but rather a shape that depends not on it's container, but a shape beyond all boundaries and in the open fields and the closed highways there is something looking out for titles and glorious ecstasy, and that is not zen.

/r/zenjerk is the garbage can of /r/zen, but, do not all the masters discard even the best bits of what is attached to with the deluded mind? Thus, you must overcome your fear of trash and make a robe out of old chip bags and stuff you found by the Hannah home box after it rains! That is how you must enter Zen. Be careful when entering, the holes are very close! But even a hairs breadth of difference will land you in the pooper.

/r/zenjerk is that pooper.

Read A Book.

Rules: It's not upvote, it's Upbodhi. It's not a downvote, it's called a Buddhist.

Let's try to keep it serious and civil.

oldschoolcool is the most cancerous subreddit

holy moly. 5 minutes into browsing (for the first time) and:

  1. I see a post about cars on a building, and the rules say ONLY pictures of real people are supposed to be posted.
  2. I see two guys posting the same picture of the same woman both claiming she's their mother... 6 hours apart.
  3. edit: i might have got whooshed...

vassal of r/badrhetoric bending the knee

Hello, I am a newly initiated moderator for the subreddit r/badrhetoric. we are an old sub with a small following. Just trying to get our two cents out to the world. I see that we are already on the sidebar, which is awesome.

Some of you may be wondering what we mean by rhetoric, and what we allow on our page. We take a very loose definition of the word rhetoric, and will allow just about anything as a post (except for cute cat videos, or car crashes).

Our definition of rhetoric is anything that counts as argument, or speech. If it is a piece of media in a medium that communicates in some way, and is making an appeal to you to do a thing (poorly), it probably belongs on our sub.

We accept rhetoric from any time frame as well, be it ancient, modern, or from the 80's. right now we are featuring famous political gaffs from the era of television, but you can post whatever you want.

Feel free to drop by or send us a message!

Introducing /r/badML

For ill-informed, overhyped, or apocalyptic discussions of AI and machine learning. Will AI kill us all? Are sentient robots about to take all our jobs? Is a fully functional prototype of Iron Man's Jarvis going to be ready by 2018? Only one way to find out!

Visit /r/badcomputerscience for all your CS needs

Did someone prove P=NP using quantum physics? Is the Halting problem easily solveable using one weird trick? Is the singularity apparently going to kill us all? Then it belongs in this subreddit.
