I am thinking about buying the Apple Watch series 10 46mm but have been debating on if I should wait until Black Friday sales, does anymore know if anywhere may offer Apple Watch sales for Black Friday or have in the past?
Can you connect a Bowflex Treadmill 10 to an Apple Watch Series 8? I’ve tried opening Bluetooth on the treadmill but didn’t see the watch listed… not sure if there is a way, but I’d love to get my workouts synced. Thanks in advance!
I just got an alert that my RR has been trending higher the past 2 weeks. I’ve never had this alert before. How accurate is this? Not necessarily looking for medical advice but I was sick about 2 months ago. I’ve had an Apple Watch for years and have never had this pop up.
I have 41mm GPS Apple Watch 7 on watchOS 11.1, and the battery is at 78% capacity and requires service. With daily workouts, always on display and sleep tracking, I get around 12-14 hours of battery life. Should I replace the battery by paying $99 or get series 10 with trade in (-$105)?
Hi all, recently joined the AW community with the series 10. Really love it and happy I chose it over the ultra 2.
With my apple watch, I no longer hear notifications from anything like gmail or ig on my phone or when I have airpods in, I just feel the vibration on my apple watcg.
How do I re enable the sounds but have them disabled on the apple watch, rather come out from my airpods?
Is there a way to make the round “top center” complication on this watchface show the seconds like in Compact Nike?
Just got a new S9 45mm. Paired everything the exact same as my S8 41mm. But for some reason email notifications from my phone won’t show up on the watch. I use the Gmail app and Outlook app for emails.
Every setting is correct as far as I can tell. What’s going on here? I’m totally stumped.
Hey, was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
I work on-call so I’m never charging at the same times everyday, so I’ve disabled optimized charging so I can grab it and go (and have confirmed it’s OFF in settings), however the stupid thing keeps stopping at 80% and requires me to manually unlock it, and tap “charge to full now”.
Is there any workarounds? Is this a known bug?
Thanks.
Researching into what watch to buy, i wondered why many people do not recommend the SE 1 + 2? What difference is there in features that makes it so affordable? Im only interested in one simply for tracking steps and calories / activity , would the se be a good option for me?
I’ve had an Apple Watch for years. I’ve always just restored from the previous version. I got a new series 10 and decided to set it up new. Every time I’m in my car and playing a podcast when I get out and look at my watch face, it’s not showing my watch face. It’s showing a screen like this. How do I turn that off and have it just always show my face and not these kind of actions ? Thanks in advance for your kind answer.
Here's my thought: Couldn't we tell that polished aluminum can be as good as, or even better than stainless steel?
Here's why I think so:
- If you take the time to polish aluminum perfectly and then apply a premium spray (transparent, scratch-resistant, anti-oxidation, and UV-resistant), you get protection that could rival that of stainless steel.
- What's more, you save between €200 and €300, as steel finish is much more expensive, while aluminum is more affordable.
- And also you keep the shine of aluminum while benefiting from its lightness.
The only disadvantage is that spray has a durability of 6–12 months. But with this one, scratches will be less visible, and the polish will be strongly protected.
Maybe I'm wrong, that's why I'm here looking for opinions.
Thanks for your feedback!
Okay, so I am in a bit of a weird situation. I own an iPhone 11 and Apple Watch Series 6. I am taking advantage of the holiday return period to see if I can use the iPhone 16 (the OLED panels on newer phones give me eye strain and headaches). You can read more about that on /r/PWM_Sensitive .
I also picked up an Apple Watch Ultra 2 to test, just to see if I can tolerate the size. After having used both new devices for a few days, I've decided to return them (headaches on the phone and the AWU2 is too big). However, I cannot seem to figure out how sync my fitness data (mainly my streak) back to the iPhone 11 from the watches. When I set up the iPhone 16, my Series 6 somehow linked itself to it, despite me only setting up the AWU2 to it.
Whenever I pair both watches back to the iPhone 11, they do not have any fitness data, and no streaks or awards at all. The data is still stored on the iPhone 16, but it is not showing up on any of the other three devices. Whenever I try to pair the watches back to the iPhone 11, it does not give me the option of restoring from backup, only as a new watch. I understand that when you unpair a watch from a phone, it saves a local backup to that device. So my question is: how do I get the data from the iPhone 16 and AWU2 back to the iPhone 11 and Series 6?
I know this sounds very weird and complicated, but I am simply trying to get the data from the new devices back onto the old devices (they are now showing no streaks or awards).
Here are the players:
iPhone 11 (old)
Apple Watch Series 6 (old)
iPhone 16 (new)
Apple Watch Ultra 2 (new)
I can't understand why the autosleep app is able to track my sleep data, distinguishing all the sleep phases, but it can't import into the Apple Health App... it only shows the time I'm asleep as a unique duration. I have already tried contacting support but no response, I have also reinstalled several times and tried to navigate the settings. Has this happened to you by any chance and do you have any solutions?
anybody have this? I think its main benefit is to notify a "trusted circle" when there is fall detection -- and, without it, the Apple Watch notifies only 911. That is worth 10/month to me if it works.
Is it normal for sleep not to track on my first few nights? I know sleep apnea alerts take 30 days, is it the same for just sleep data?
I confirmed that I had the toggle switched to on to track my sleep.
Thanks :)
I have been using the watch almost daily and throw it onto the charger before bed. Have optimised charging turned on. What went so wrong that the battery degraded so quickly? Using the original charging cable with a PD charger from spigen.
If I do multiple exercises a day, it will always delete calories randomly. For example today I did:
plus other calories I burned along the day, last time I checked it was in almost 700 Cal, then now I checked again and it’s on 335. Why is it doing this and how do I make it stop?
I'm on my 5th AW, I've had series 0, 4, 6, 7 and now I use the AWU1. Works great, I get 2 days of battery life out of it, easily, and it's fantastic for my runs.
Except lately I've had problems. The treadmills at my gym have a sensor, just tap your watch and the treadmill and watch share info - pace, distance, time, HR, it's awesome.
But my HR isn't correct. It'll be fine for a bit and will rise into the 140's after about 5 mins but for my last dozen or so runs I notice my heart rate doesn't seem to match what it says. I know what my general heart rate is based on where I'm at in my run and once I'm more than about 10 mins in, it's way off.
But the crazy thing is that as soon as I take a break from running, even just stepping off the treadmill to wipe off/get a drink, it almost immediately shoots up to my real heart rate and is fine for the rest of the run! It'll go from 140 up to 190 the second I step off to catch my breath!
I've tried everything - cleaning my watch, different straps, different placement on my wrist - nothing seems to work.
Anyone else have this issue? I'm reluctant to send it back to Apple or get it worked on because I'll lose blood ox.
So AppleCare apparently can’t replace my Apple Watch Ultra 1 with a bad battery without replacing it with an AWU1 that lacks the blood oxygen sensor feature. Unbelievable.
AppleCare+ is a waste money and that 1 hour call was a waste of my time. Do better
