I managed to break my iPhone over the weekend so am.using my old one for now but went to pair my watch with it and it looks like I'll need to reset it snd will lose my activity data etc as I can't use old iPhone, (it's that broken) to sync and unpair first

Anyone know how to get it synced first?

Since my 13 phone updated to 17.4.1 my SE watch on 9.6.3 is no longer receiving notifications from the phone.

So no message alerts, no email, or new calendar entries (I've tried creating new entries on both the watch and the phone - neither sync to the other). Remote camera doesn't work. Sleep mode has to be set independently.

However, health data is being sent from the watch to the phone.

I can also ping my watch from 'Find my', which I assume is being done via the watch's connection to the phone as my watch doesn't have wifi turned on, or any mobile comms.

Watch says it is connected to phone, and phone says it is connected to watch. I've tried a hard reset of the watch and the phone.

If I go into the Watch app on the phone, it tells me to update, and it won't allow me to change any settings until I do.

Does that mean I now have to update to 10.4, or are there any other settings or tricks I can do to restore the notifications?

This only happened since the 14.7.1 update a few days ago.

Hello! I have a question. I just changed my weight on my circle app (idk how it’s called in English haha) from 73 kg to 63 kg, I honestly don’t know the last time I changed it so it’ll probably be about a year ago or even more. I’ve been really busy with walking workouts lately, I really like them and I’m fascinated with the stats I’m getting. For example on a 6,61km walk today I burned 480 active kcal and 580 total kcal. But how will the amounts change since I’ve adjusted the weight? Will my total kcal Ive burned a day be changed as well? And how will it affect this day as I had 73kg first and 63kg now. Thanks for the answers!!

My daughter is a physician and she really liked the Medtimer app on her watch to calculate pulse and respiration.

It is still working on the iPhone but crashes on the watch.

Has been doing this for a couple months. Any suggestions. Never gotten wet. I unpaired it when I got my Apple Watch Ultra 2 and this is all it will do. Hard reset it a dozen times. Let the battery die 4-5 times but this is it. Apple wants 505$ to repair it. Any ideas

If you read posts on here, opinions are divided. I will say you should pay attention to people on here who mention specific sellers on there. I went on there looking and saw endless people selling the bands I was looking for. And some of them you could clearly see differences.

I figured going with one that was slightly more expensive (still sub $2 a band lol) would be beneficial. They were a solid .40 cents each more than the next seller. Which is actually a good amount considering the low price.

I ordered 7, they were the same band just different colors. 1st one I tried I couldn't seem to get it to slide on smoothly. I have an Apple Watch Ultra for reference. After a bunch of tries, it was going on normal. But when I took it off I noticed 1 of the top magnets had fallen off.

2nd one, straight from the package 2 of the magnets were not flush, I tried to push them down but they wouldn't stay. It goes on and comes off, but it involves more force than it should.

3rd one - went on smooth as silk, and 1 of the magnets fell off when I was removing the strap. Since my plan was to swap bands every day, I don't have high hopes the remaining ones will hold up to constantly being put on and taken off. The ones with the missing magnets still work, but there's no way would I'll trust them to hold when I'm running around. And with almost 50% already falling apart I don't think I'll even risk using the "good" ones.

the other 4 are alright, 1 moves a little more than I'd like. And none of them click in like the Ocean band that came with my watch. Considering it was $13 for 7 bands shipped, I never expected 100% quality replicas. But I know other sellers will have better quality ones, and I just got unlucky with who I picked.

So back to the drawing board, and this time I'll look harder to find feedback about the sellers. Only being out $13 is nothing, but it's still frustrating because I'll have to wait a few weeks to get new ones.

I’d like to know. If I get a watch which is has oxygen monitor turned off, can it be activated once I go overseas? And if so what’s the process?

Obs: Liguei do 1052 e a atendente informou que meu plano Sync continua ativo e que eu deveria ir numa loja da Claro para resolver.

My AW2 on WatchOS6.3 no longer finds what my I15P IOS17.4.1 is playing on AppleMusic, YT, etc. When looking at the list of devices to control, the only available device is the watch, even if I have music playing on my phone. I've called support and they said it is probably a update bug that will be fixed in the next update, but my watch hasn't gotten any updates since 2021 when they discontinued support for it because it's a series 2. It was working fine 2 weeks ago, and I don't remember changing any settings or software on either devices in that time frame. I honestly don't have a clue what to do other than get a refurbished watch from somewhere like Swappa as a cheap-ish fix.

Hi all! I had the AW S5 since it came out early 2020 I believe. Lately I've been noticing a sharp decline in it's battery life. After 6-7 it'll be around 40%, and if I do a workout it's completely drained after. I workout frequently so it's important for me to have a sustained battery life. I checked the battery health and its at 100%. I actually recently got a replacement watch after cracking the screen and same thing--battery health is perfect but declines drastically just the same.

I don't believe a battery replacement would be appropriate in my case. Wanted to see if anyone had a similar experience and also get some opinions if it's worth it to upgrade to the SE gen 2 or series 9?

I unpaired my apple watch yesterday bcs I could no longer see my friend’s activity, it was kinda stuck somewhere. Then right after it was unpaired, it stuck on apple logo, hard reset it several times then it goes like this rn. Any solution? This is S3. Thanks!

I want to start new on my Apple Watch fitness but it seems like the data won’t go away? I want to restart awards and activity information. I know I can delete workouts but that’s it.

I have an old Apple Watch I am trying to let a friend use; she wants to use the watch just for fitness tracking of her workouts. She doesn't carry about notifications or any other features, but she doesn't have an iPhone.

The watch is an Apple Watch SE with GPS (but does not have cellular). I tried setting it up for a family member but it won't let me do that since it doesn't have cellular.

Is there any other option?

Just got my first apple watch. I have one contact that doesn't show the name in my favorites on the phone app. And the same person doesn't show at all as a pinned favorite in the messages app. Anybody know how to fix this?

Hi all. I recently got an Apple Watch 5 (I know it’s old) and have had some trouble updating it to 10.4. It initially wouldn’t let me update because it said my phone wasn’t connected to the internet (it was and I actually have very fast and secure internet)x so I tried unpairing the watch. But now, it won’t let me pair with the watch without updating it when I do, but I still get the same message when trying to update when pairing.

This means that my watch is stuck unpaired and I literally can not use it. Any help please!

Wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them, Series 5.

A few weeks back Digital crown was randomly unresponsive. Physically worked fine, can press and turn but nothing registering on the watch, tried cleaning out but didn't help. Upgraded WatchOS and it suddenly started to work again. Worked for a number of weeks and just stopped working again.

Feels software related as why would new software suddenly fix the issue? Anyone else running into this with version 10.4 or earlier?

Hi all. Just switched to the apple ecosystem. Using my sisters old Apple Watch 3 series (wiped and added to my account) before buying my own. Worked out with the Apple Watch today and it just stopped reading my heart rate during a workout. Was completely fine immediately before and after the workout, but just had a complete black out during. Made sure power saving mode was off. Also made sure other privacy settings were turned on.

Any ideas??
