Anime Figures and Garage Kits
Feel free to share pictures of your newest figure, the latest news on a sculpt, or questions about the hobby.
Please don't post any memes, reaction images, or other low-effort content.
Suggestive or explicit loli content is prohibited under reddit's Content Guidelines.
Figures must come from one of the following origins: A Japanese series (manga, anime, visual novels, etc). Be an aesthetically "anime" figure produced by a Japanese manufacturer/company or from a manufacturer on the approved list.
List of other approved sources: Myethos, Apex, MaxCute, Ribose, Mihoyo, Hobby Max, Vibrastar, Emontoys, Astrum Design, AniGift, DCTer, Snail Shell, AniMester, Party Look, Otherwhere, Solarain, Ensoutoys, Reverse Studio, and Net Ease (this list may periodically be expanded).
Do not promote bootlegs. Bootlegs are harmful to the industry, so we do not want to support them. Posts containing bootlegs, bootleg GKs ('recasts'), or unlicensed figures, advocating for their purchase, or links for purchasing them, will be subject to removal.

Sale and Deal Posts
Posts regarding websites with everyday low prices/reliable sellers are prohibited.
No 'looking to buy' posts - if you need help finding a figure online, that's fine, but please don't solicit users. Please do not make sales offers to other users unless you have an active sale post.
Individual sellers offering a piece are OK as long as your sale follows ALL of these rules:
- All sale/trade posts must include [Sale] or [Trade] in the text of the title in brackets.
- All sales/trades must be in a self-post (text post) format.
- All sales must be priced.
- A date+name stamped photo of the figure(s) for sale/trade must be provided. Handwrite your reddit username and the current date on a piece of paper and photograph that alongside the items for sale. See the wiki for more details on what we expect from a verification photo.
- For large sales, lists of figures should match images accordingly in groups of 10 (See the wiki for more info).
- eBay listings must have a 'Buy it Now' option
- Your account must be at least 3 months old.
- One sale/trade post per user every 7 days.
Please also keep in mind that many potential buyers will find it useful if you state what country you’ll be shipping from.

Self-promotion is tolerated (linking to your own site/blog/channel), but please be aware that if the mods do not feel like you contribute enough to the community outside of your own posts, your self promoting post(s) will be removed. Please don't post referral links in the subreddit (this includes Otaku Mode's invite links). Do not advertise or request users to PM you for your TOM links.

Are there multiple kinds of Nendoroid?
Both of these are by Good Smile but the bases are quite different and Frieren is listed as 140mm while Ubel is 100mm.
So I was wondering, are there different kinds or something? I assumed they'd all be kind of the same.

WHERE did she come from
So I THINK this is Saori Shinjo from The Queen of Heart '99 or Shizuku. But my real question is where did this figure specifically come from? I suspect it's a knockoff, but I couldn't find anything similar to it with image search. If somebody could let me know id be grateful asf to find out. Thank youss!

Thoughts on DeJapan?
I've looking for random japanese warehouses for my Mercari and Fril purchases and japanese shops where I can't buy myself. I have used Zenmarket, FromJapan, Neokyo and Buyee but I have heard that DeJapan has only a 100 yen fee which sounds great but also sounds kinda sus to me having in mind some other sites are even charging about 500 yen per purchase.
So I'd like to know if someone has used their service and how has been their experience so far because currently I'm using Buyee but my experience with the site has no been 100% good.

i ordered from solarisjapan last month, 8 days ago the tracking updated to dispatch from outward office of exchange but it hasn't arrived in my country yet, is this the usual? i understand that this time of year is usually busy it's just that when i ordered a few weeks ago it only took around 4 days to arrive in my country after dispatch

can i still pay for an order even if my amiami account is restricted?
been busy with work and had a couple orders in my account, i was dead sure the due date was gonna be in a few days but one of them got cancelled which led to the account getting restricted. already sent the request for unlock but i still have one order up thats due in a couple of days, can i still complete the order or should i wait for it to be unlocked?

Is it normal to have your figure be in a "sorting centre" for 5+ days?
Hey y'all, I've tracked figures from the Japan Post a couple of times, and this is the first time I've seen something go into a sorting center. It's been there since the 9th. Is this normal, or holiday delays or something? Or should I call them up? I'm a little worried. Thanks!
