Plan actual: Día 1: Jaén a Jódar Día 2: Jódar a Quesada a Cazorla Día 3: Cazorla a Hornos Día 4: Hornos a Sabieto Día 5: Sabieto a Úbeda a Baeza
So I'm planning a 4 days trip this weekend. I am heading to Málaga (Friday), Nerja(Saturday) and then to Granada (Sunday and Monday)planning to spend 2 days there. And Tuesday at 13.00 I have the flight back from Málaga. So I thought I'll start at around 7 from Granada to Málaga. I checked out buses at that time, and it's available. Are there any other options?
How does this sound in total? Is it too hectic? I love not relaxing on vacations, so considering that😁 and please suggest places to eat(preferably halal or vegan), visit and it would be of great help if you could shed some light on public transport and how it works. Do share if there's something interesting. Thanks in advance, love to you guys!!
Some places I had noted was - Alhambra, nerja caves etc.
Hello All!
Going to be in Lisbon later this month, we have 4-5 days free, and thought we’d do a road trip around Andalusia. I’d appreciate your feedback on our itinerary, and any suggestions you may have. Thanks in advance.
22 Feb (Sat) - Free to leave Lisbon after lunch. I thought about doing the overnight bus to Seville, but my cousin wants to fly. Is there a train? What do you think is the best option?
23 Feb (Sun) - Check in at the hotel, pick up a rental car, drive to Gibraltar, spend a few hours there, head back to Seville. Any recommendations for rental companies in Seville? Where’s the best neighborhood to stay in Seville? I’ve heard it’s better to park the car in Spain and walk across the border to Gibraltar?
24 Feb (Mon) - Drive to Cordoba, spend the day sightseeing, drive to Granada and check in to the hotel
25 Feb (Tuesday) - Spend the day sightseeing in Granada (I’ve booked Alhambra tickets already, with Nasrid Palace entry at noon) Any recommendations for hotels and good restaurants, tapas bars?)
26 Feb (Wednesday) - Head back to Seville , spend the day sightseeing in Seville and return Lisbon on Thursday, 27 February
Hola! Alguien porfa me ayuda
I am buying train tickets for a day trip from Granada to Cordoba in July. I have the following times planned:

I'll have to head out to my hotel in Granada upon return. my question is : Are the return hours too late? would bus/taxi be availble then? anything i should anticipate?
Thanks for any insights,
Hello, I am planning a 5 day trip to Andalucia in July. I would like some opinions on this itinerary.
Here is my tentative intinerary so far:
- 1 night in malaga
- Day trip to Granada - depart to Cordoba
- 1 night in Cordoba
- 2 nights in Sevilla
- 1 night in malaga
If I have to elminate one city, which one should it be? Or does it look fine the way it is? I just don't want it to be too crammed and rushed. Thanks for any advice.
Ciao cugini! I'm from Italy and in March I will do an interrail trip in the southern coast of Spain: Valencia, Cordoba, Seville and Granada, and since both me and my partner really like nature and natural parks we also wanted to include some cool natural park visit.
The problem is that I don't really know which one we should visit. By searching online I can see dozens of natural parks in those areas (Donana, Sierra Nevada, Sierra Norte Seville, Albufuera...) but I don't know which I should visit, and I can't find any resource/blog posts talking about them, most travel blogs focus on visiting cities.
Could you recommend me some natural parks? Also consider that we're doing the whole trip with trains and buses, and I would like to avoid renting a car.
Hello everyone,
I hope you are all well. When I was in highschool I was lucky enough to get the chance to spend a week in Spain with my classmates. We spent a couple of days in Madrid but the rest of the trip was spent in southern Spain, in locations such as Granada and Malaga.
It is important to note that I attended a predominantly white school as a black kid making it so all of my peers were white during the trip. While there everyone we met was so kind and the energy everywhere we went seemed so much more exciting while still relaxed in comparison to the United States which has caused me to want to return to Spain ever since my trip in 2020.
Now though, whenever I mention my interest in traveling there again or even living there people always bring up racism. When I first heard this, I was quite surprised since my experience there was so amazing. I hear stories about how difficult it is to rent or how the few people that may want to be friends with you do so only for the spectacle of having a black friend lol. This surprises me because of how much I enjoyed being there. I am now wondering if it was just my company that deflected any racism I may have experienced or if the region we visited had something to do with it.
I have learned that many of the regions of Spain are quite different than others. Could it also be that Andalucia is more accepting of other ethnicities than the regions up north? If anyone may be able to give me any insight on how black people are treated there I would love to know. I am just beginning my last semester of college and am open to a new experience and Spain may be one of them. Of course I will not let something as silly as bigotry stop me from experiencing what the world has to offer but I do think its important to know.
Also I must add that I do know racism exists everywhere. I just think it is also different everywhere as well.
Also, sorry if this is an annoying post because I do get black people are always asking this kind of thing and it is probably annoying.
Hello! I want to travel by bus from
Camping Los Jarales V https://tinyurl.com/29k6mf2r
to
Boulevard San Pedro https://tinyurl.com/44runue5
Unfortunately, I really struggle to plan the route and the online tools / apps are not helpful.
Based on https://portillo.azurewebsites.net/es/itinerarios-y-horarios/lineas/220-m220-fuengirola-marbella there is a bus 220 which could take me to the Marbella Estación Autobuses, but when I check the timetables at Google Maps, the destiny of the 220 bus is not Marbella Estación Autobuses but Leila Playa. And there is a different website which only shows 4 bus stops https://siu.ctmam.ctan.es/en/movil/horarios_lineas_tabla.php?linea=21
Also, the Google Timetables are completely different than the ones I saw on the bus stop.
Overall, everything seems really chaotic...how do you guys plan your travels here ?
Hello everyone!
My wife and I will be travelling from Granada to Seville in late April. We will be getting two days in between.
We would like to visit Ronda-Caminito del Rey-Setenil de las Bodegas-Antequera-Nerja-Málaga
Of course we can’t visit all these places in just two days.
After we finish here, we will be heading to Seville.
Also, we would be going to MotGP race at Circuto de Jerez (for 2 days). We have planned to travel to the circuit from Seville since stays in Jerez is ultra expensive and only few are available as of now. Is this feasible?
muchas gracias!
Alguien sabe? gracias!
Hola, r/Andalucia !
I recently visited Fuengirola and bought what might be the best olive oil I've ever tasted. The problem is, I can't find any information about it online, and I'd love to buy more. I bought this at Chiringuito La Mar Salá.
Here's what I know:
I've tried searching online, but "Torillo" and "By Torillo" don't bring up anything relevant to olive oil. It seems like a small, local producer.
Has anyone seen this olive oil before? Does anyone recognize the brand or the logo? Any tips on where I might be able to find it (either in Spain or online)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I'm really hoping to track down this delicious olive oil again.
Gracias!
We found a beautiful Airbnb in Valle de Abdalajís close to Antequera. Staying March 16 to 22.
We want to explore Andalusia and try and see Sevilla, Grenada, Ronda, Cordoba and maybe do the Caminito del Rey hike. Would it make sense to stay there and do day trips or have our home base in Seville and Grenada instead.
