On those rare occasions where I have a free couple hours to go drive for leisure, I legitimately have a hard time choosing between them. During the week, it's boring drives in either my wife's B9 S4 or my X5 shuttling kids and running errands.
*before anyone asks why the QV is not used for general use during the week, it's the tiny gas tank size leading to poor range that gets in the way * 🤣
Hi just want to show off my new car, 159 TI
Hello guys,
I would like to ask if it's possible to install factory parking sensors to a MiTo that didn't come with ones. Is it possible to buy them, install them and activate them with the ECU to display the distance on the dashboard screen or is it something that's not possible unless it was done directly at the factory.
Also says forward collision warning deactivated
Hi all,
has anyone insight view for the updates coming into the MY2025? I mean available colours, small technical changes like usb-c ports, wireless CarPlay or something else?
The price list for 2025 and new trim Intensa is not available yet. My understanding is that Alfa Romeo usually publish their new price list and change MY model around spring time March/April.
I am asking for EU market, since the trims seem to be a bit different (US market has heated rear seats for example).
Hi! Has anyone here set up their 147 facelift LED lights? I've been looking around the internet but couldn't find a reliable source on how to install them. I also found some very cheap ones on AliExpress, and I'm not sure if that's a good option. Is there any catch in installing them regarding the error messages etc.?
Thanks
Alrighty, so I had that pretty controversial post at https://www.reddit.com/r/AlfaRomeo/comments/1ia0s4z/giulia_is_extremely_capable_but_it_just_doesnt/, and wanted to provide some updates.
I've fiddled around with tyre pressures, and going with 2.2 bar at the front and 2.5 bar at the back feels a bit better, it's a bit more communicative.
But the real revelation came after driving a bone-stock, very very base model 2017 2.0 rwd (200bhp version). That car felt much lighter (it probably is around 100kg lighter) and with a tighter feeling front end. Granted, it was on 19" wheels as opposed to my 18", and they were a bit more inflated, but it just seemed to dance around corners at lower speeds, with more joy.
Of course the engine wasn't as powerful, but it still had more than enough power for my liking, it's still much faster than most cars on the roads in my area so overtaking is never an issue.
The Giulia is a perfectly engineered machine, suspension/geometry tuning is absolutely perfect, but as others have suggested it's still a luxury touring car, so I shouldn't expect it to make me grin ear to ear at every corner.
If only Alfa made a smaller, lighter version of this (something like a 2 series, but weighing in at closer to 1400kg), that would be perfect for my needs. As it stands, I'll fiddle around some more with different wheels and tyres and see if I can compromise some comfort for some more feedback/lower limits of grip.
Ciao!
PS: would be cool if the steering weight didn't change through the modes. I've realised that since I drive mostly in N, when I switch to D and the steering gets heavier my brain interprets it as "those front tyres are getting quite loaded, you're probably approaching the limit", even though I'm well, well below their limits. I'll see if driving mostly in D alleviates this, but it would be great if the steering weight could be tuned to have the same weight in all modes like it does in D.
Not sure why but when ever I turn the car on I am greeted with a black screen. This issue just started having this happen.

Looking for any input on the Stelvio, it’s currently number 2 on my list of smaller SUV’s. It’s going to be a family car so I’m wondering how the reliability is trunk space maintenance etc any input will help! Thank you
Hi all!
I’m looking to buy a car in the next month or two. From Europe but live in Australia. I stumbled upon the Stelvio and immediately fell in love, however I keep being told that they are incredibly unreliable.
I read and heard that the 2020 model is much more reliable and improved in a lot of things but I can’t find any for sale. The only ones I find within my budget are a diesel first edition, a Ti auto awd petrol from 2018, and a diesel auto awd from 2019. All between 85.000 and 95.000 km.
Is the reliability on these models really that bad? And would any if these be worth getting?
Thank you!!
I am considering a 2017 Giulia Veloce 2.0t thats sitting at 186,000km (115,575mi)
I'm an Alfa fanboy but is this too much?
Sup guys (i am new here). I just wanted to ask why are there almost no 159 post? Is it because there are mostly US guys or is it something else? I just bought 159 as my first car and I fell in love with it so I was just curious.
So it's down to the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quattrofolglio, Maserati Grecale Trofeo or the Mercedes 450 GLE coupe. The Maserati has the best interior, the Stelvio has the most bang for your buck and the 450 has a look I like although all three look great. I know there's a refresh for the Stelvio coming and the Giulia may also be turned into a cross-over, so I'm really waiting for more information, details and what these two cars will look like. I'd hate to buy the 450 only to regret it when the new Alfas show up. So my question is, is there any information, photos, renders that are accurate for the new Stelvio and Giulia? Thanks

My Alfa needs some final touch ups, but I will address those when it gets a little warmer👍🏼🇮🇹
Ive been looking at a 1.4L Giulietta 2014, my question is wether it is a good car or not? It’s the qv line model so it has the leather/alkantara bucket like seats, a panoramic roof( one at the front and one in the back) it looks like a descent car with the 170hp but I’m new to alfas to I’m curious to what someone with a bit of experience has to say.
Am I making a mistake by purchasing this car?
Hello guys, I'm looking forward to buy my first car and I felt in love with a 2015 MiTo. Talking about infotainment it is equipped with the infamous uconnect 5" without Navi (it has the more button). The problem is, I live in a big city and I am a foreigner who doesn't speak the local language, so apart from a couple of roads a navigator is a basic need for me and I honestly wouldn't regret to listen to Spotify or my huge songs catalogue so I'm looking forward to add something that works with android auto
Has anyone been able to actually change the Uconnect 5" with an aftermarket solution while retaining the functions hosted by the Uconnect unit?
Or, in the very worst scenario, is the Bluetooth connection with the phone able to at least change the tracks you are playing?
Thanks in advance for your help
Old pic tho I’ll have to take a new one when it’s nice out 👌🏼
Hi! I’ve got a base 200hp Alfa Romeo Giulia. I intend to up the power to 280hp. What do I need? Is it safe and reliable? Can I just put on a Stelvio’s map/tune or should I go custom ? Living in Mauritius, we have RON95 fuel here.
Can I replace my 5 speed transmission with a six speed? I have the 135 multiair, one of the few without the six speed and I want to convert it into a q
I hardly see another Guilia QV owner around here but when I do wave or beep to acknowledge otters with such fine taste! Today, I passed one and gave him a friendly beep. Down the road, we pulled into a petrol station and chatted for 15mins. Who else does that!? Good people, Alfisti! 🇮🇹🍀

Did an oil change with Mobil 1 ESP 0w-30, 5.5 quarts. Oil level read right in the middle after oil change. The next day I got a light saying max oil level exceeded so I drained about half a quart. Light persists even 24 hours after that. Let car run idle for 5 minutes and the reading is still above max. What should my next steps be? I don’t want there to be too little. Should I just do an entire change again? Take it to the dealer? Scanner reads no codes other than oil exceeds maximum.
Pretty confused because there’s no reason the light should be on and if anything it should be reading low. When I drained some it looked normal, no coolant in oil and oil temps read fine. I’m scared to drive the car now though
Hi guys, I have an Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.4 MultiAir with the TCT Automatic Transmission and I'm planning to change the transmission oil next wek. I was wondering if I should change the hydraulic oil for the TCT as well? I have no idea if it's ever been changed before (it might not have been), and the car is already at 270,000km (167k miles). Does anyone know if it's necessary to change it, and if so, how big of a job it is? Is it something costly or complicated? Any advice would be much appreciated!
So I want to buy a new car. Last year I feel in love with the Stelvio. So elegant and beautiful. The reviews I saw where pretty good too. The problem is: it’s out of my budget. I looked for used cars and it’s would cost me something around 38.000€ with at least 50.000km (~31.000miles). I already went to a car dealership and they showed me a tonale 160ps (157hs). I would also like to buy the hybrid Version of the Tonale Veloce which should give like 10-20hs in electrical power. Is this correct? However I really liked the car. It look beautiful from the inside and outside. Like a Stelvio from the inside. It probably fits better for my purpose. I live in Germany and driven 1-2 times a year to Italy, so I’m actually more in the city.
I would like to know from you what your experience with the Tonale is. Any informations I need before to buy? Thank you guys!
