Hello Everyone,
A dealer a few cities over has a new 2023 Stelvio QV on their website for $76,000. I am incredibly curious- is it normal to still have a new 2023 on the lot? I wish I could buy it myself, but I can only afford $40,000 max right now, so I’m not going to waste their time. But this seems incredibly strange, no? The 2024’s are selling new no problem, while this 2023 just collects dust.
Owned it for about 20 years. It's not stock, it's not for purists, and It's not done. It will never be done. Cuz it's a driver. I've put so much work into it, I can't even begin. But it's been worth every penny, busted knuckle, stripped bolt, lesson learned, tool purchased, mistake made and problem solved. It runs like a dream at the moment - my goal is for it to be the best and most reliable version of a 74 spider as possible with modern suspension/ engine/transmission/differential/exhaust upgrades, interior restoration (keeping it the sparse stock look with rubber mats), and staying on top of the ongoing maintenance required of a 50 year old car. The never ending pursuit of impossible perfection...
Hey, wanted to ask if its possible to make mirrors fold on lock and unfold on unlock. Also, if its possible to make right mirror tilt down when in reverse. Giulietta, 2011. Thanks
Not the GTV6 but a GTV twin turbo. I heard there were around 10 or so made and was just wondering if I can find a source or if anyone has heard of it?
My car has recently gotten into an accident and came back. I noticed a little wiggle room of where the badge would be. Any one know the problem? I also tightened the nut behind the badge
MHEV TONALE has started making a slight but noticeable “chattering/ chirping” type of noise on an acceleration. Seems to be coming from the engine bay and more noticeable when engine cold, but still evident after heats up. I have attached a clip of the noise ( turn volume up to hear the noise above the engine). Any ideas what it might be. It’s going to the dealers soon to check it out.
Would anyone be able let me know what the best type of oil is for my Alfa Stelvio 2022? It’s the base model. ( Will be my first oil change since purchase and want to make sure I will be getting the best kind. Will be at 25,000 miles).
I don’t want to get the wrong oil/ or pay for something that is ridiculously expensive when it’s not needed. Also, have been getting mixed opinions about changing it every 5k or 10k? And when to have the spark plugs replaced/tested?
And the belt checked/replaced?
I keep the auto switch off as much as possible because I have read on this forum that it’s bad for the car. I am happy to have found this forum for help!
The dealership we bought it from wants to charge me 800$ for oil change & spark plug check & it will take all day; plus it’s 2 hours away.
The mechanic I was referred to; works on foreign cars( Mercedes, BMWs, porches, Maseratis,Audis and Alfas) would do both for about 200$. He told me they are great cars; but from his experience once they get to 65,000plus miles they start to have issues? Has anyone else had this experience?
( not used to taking care of cars on my own; but due to unfortunate circumstances I now have no choice.. so please be kind with comments! 🙏) thank you in advance!! LOVE my Stelvio so much & want to take the best care of it! Before we got it; we had looked at BMW X5s. EVERYONE drives them; and then we went to Italy where my husband’s family is from and came home and decided to get an Italian car; and started looking at Alfas and test drove a Stelvio & fell in love with it! Especially compared to the BMW X5! Will definitely be staying in the Italian car family from now on!🇮🇹
Hi all, does anyone know if there's an easy way to program a new key to a 2015 Giulietta? Or would I need to take it to the main dealer? TIA
It’s got 37k miles on it, test drove it & I really liked lt. it’s beautiful it has the Nero package. I’m interested to see if anyone else on here with a STELVIO can tell me if they’ve had any issues with it? Is it expensive to maintain/service? Anything I should be on the lookout for?
Greetings, alfisi. I need your help. I disengage the battery because I don't drive too much, so it doesn't discharge itself. One day I decided to drive. After inserting a key and pressing start button car went dead. Inserting key didn't help. I thought my battery is dead and asked a friend to give me power through the cables. This time car didn't go dead. Instead it showed me warning from the picture. How can I resolve this issue and start the engine? Thank you in advance!
As someone who has driven Stelvio and Giulia Veloces extensively, I am very happy with my Tonale TI. I can understand complaints that the car lacks the Alfa spirit, but I truely think they took that spirit and molded it into a practical city driver. Living in South Florida I predominately drive mostly in electric as I don't have to travel far for work/life/play/travel. The car infotainment center has been improved over that of the other models, the navigation system is much improved. When you throw the car in "D" mode the acceleration is impressive, it feels like it uses both motors, my body pushes back in the seat harder than in my previous Veloces. Admittedly, driving in "A" mode (all electric) is not going to be exhilarating. If you are looking for a beautifully designed car well equipped for city driving you should consider the Tonale.
Hello guys!
I swapped my Giulia steering wheel with a what seems to be an aftermarket one but as soon as i tied to turn on the car with the start and stop button, it said "Check keyless entry system" and it took a bunch of tries to turn on (same with turning it off).
Also the new buttons, that are in different positions, arent working at all, plus the horns turn on the "start and stop" button light instead.
What am i doing wrong? does it just need a proxy align or something else?
That was me with my old junior! Still living those great memories
This is the after and before on the side blinkers. Costs no more than 20€ and I think it's adding some detail to the car. What do you think?
Or should the title say, the most affordable/obtainable (still expensive eg road tax etc), supercar? In terms of looks I think certainly, sound also, I’m not taking it to the track the performance, I’m still early in my car journey only having had corsas and astras, for me it’s my first supercar and I plan on keeping it forever as it’s timeless, here’s mine with my custom built guitar
