Can she only absorb mutant abilities or superpowers in general? (For example, if she touched Spider-Man, would she be able to crawl on walls?)
Can she have the powers of more than one person at the same time?
If 2 is correct, what happens if she absorbs the powers of two people with super strength (let's say Thor and Captain America)? Would she be as strong as the strongest one of them (in our example Thor)? Or would their strength combine making her even more powerful?
Mystique doin her own thing when and why? It doesnt make sense to me yet.
Also am i supposed to know where rogue is and why her and ice boy split?
Plz try to avoid spoiling too much.
…although we all know why 🙄. Even if everyone didn’t get a full story arc with the Progenitor, something simple like one or two panels (which is how Immortal X-Men handled it) would have been better. It would have been something.
You’re telling me the team that’s sent to do the jobs no one wants to just magically escaped all-knowing judgment?? I don’t think so.
I'm finally reading all of this in order and can't decide which is my fave. Like kitty as the RQ and Shaw getting his karma, beak / angel, the 'fury road' type old ladies, Northstar leading a team, children of the vault!
X Force is prolly my least liked art but I am still enjoying it. I'm on X of Swords now.
Reading Wolverine also; poll limits @ 6.

Since his ousting from the show and reveal that he was fired for sexual misconduct, he’s posted nothing but nonsense for engagement on twitter like…
1.claiming that he intended Phoenix to leave Scott by adapting end song and then have Scott get with Emma, even though he’s repeatedly voiced how much he hates Emma/Scott and Emma as a hero in the past.
Claiming that season 2 would’ve adapted Onslaught and AoA before then claiming that season three would be an entire season dedicated to AoA.
Saying that by season 4 he would’ve finally let Gambit and Rogue get together with the new conflict being Gambit asking mystique for “permission” to marry Rogue.
These are just a couple of things off the top of my head but this guy shows all the signs of being a narcissist who just happens to be using his association with a season of a cartoon show for clout. Everything he says at this point sounds completely made up and people should take it as interesting “what ifs” that could’ve happened with the show. (I’ve blocked the guy, but I keep seeing his nonsense here)
Never read X-Men before, and a comics newb in general. Looking for some good ones to jump into, like the equivalent of Batman's Long Halloween or Killing Joke. Particular characters I'm interested in are Polaris, Psylocke, Shadowcat, Banshee, Iceman, the Xcalibur team, and Jean/Scott when Wolverine isn't butting in- not really a fan of Logan and his backstory in general, or Deadpool. Thanks in advance!
Just reading IGN's coverage of the Year of Gambit, I was really stunned the writer said she wasn't all that impressed with XMen Animated series Gambit. I'm aware he only had one stand along story in the series (vs. Wolverine's jillion episodes) but this was the show that was springboarded Gambit's popularity back then along with the comics. Just watching I thought of these:
-Gambit, Storm, Jubilee when they went to Genosha : ...showing Gambit's cunning ability to deceive to get everyone out and escape. And still keepin up the mysteriousness, like when Jubilee at the end says I knew you couldn't betray us." and he goes, "what makes you think I'm not tricking you this time?"
-Morph disguises himself as Professor X, Wolverine can tell because he can smell him. Morph as the Professor tells the team to destroy him. Gambit goes, "the Professor has never said to destroy anyone before" analyzes the situation and just charges a card at his wheelchair so that Morph as Professor X stands up.
-Gambit is apparently jealous of Rogue taking care of Archangel and joining him to take down Apocalypse, but doesn't yell at her about it, he simply warns her of such a dangerous mission to take down Apocalypse
-Sacrificing himself on the asteroid to save the others...to the point that at Magneto's "funeral" Rogue goes, he's not the one I'm thinking about. (she's worried about if Remy survived!)
Why the Thing have beef with short Canadians?
If yea what kind of activities do you think they got up to
