I’ve been slowing buying up X-Men stuff from the last 20+ years.
Some TPBs are just way too high. One is X Lives of Wolverine/ X Deaths of Wolverine.
It’s cheaper to actually buy the comics. But looking at the covers, the 5 Lives ones look way more interesting by far. They take place at key points in Wolverine’s history.
The covers of Death just all look like Logan dying of a Techno organic virus.
Are the ten books super connecting, flowing from an issue of Life to Death and back. Or are they just two somewhat connected stories that don’t have to be read together, as I’m considering just getting just Lives.
Thoughts appreciated as deadline approaching.
I made it as a way to put my Fandoms on the tree well also not need to throw it out after Christmas
Hi guys so I’ve been reading through the og Xmen run from 63’ onwards, and I was just wondering if the 1991 is a reboot or a continuation just starting from #1 again😁

I googled and read that the season 2 going to get released in 2026, is there a specific reason why 2026 and they cant do it sooner?
Let's try to establish some things first.
Wade's job interview for the avengers was in 2018, with a 6 year time jump not long after. This means the events of DP&W take place in 2024. (Or rather Wade is from 2024 since time travel is involved.)
Laura is 11 years old during the events of Logan. The film explicitly takes place in 2029, so she was born in 2018. Considering that the Laura in the void said she got to "have a childhood" because of her Logan's sacrifice, I'll assume she's Dafne Keen's IRL age of 19 rather than being played by an older actress. So she's probably from around the year 2037. At the end of the film she decided to fuck off from her reality and move to earth 10005 in 2024.
The impression that the film gives to me is that Logan takes place in an Alternate future (Earth 17315) who 10005 diverged from after Laura and "The Worst Wolverine" moved in. Presumably some time after the film Laura warns the X-Men of the Westchester incident as well as what the Essex Corp is up to with mutant suppressing corn and the X-23 program.
The point I'm getting to is this, when all is said and done, There are two Lauras. One who's 19 and lived through a childhood of experimentation. The other got freed by the X-Men at the age of 6. That sounds pretty close to the dynamic Laura and Gabby have in the comics.
And she'd need a different name to differentiate herself from the other Laura Kinney. Maybe Gabriella is Laura's middle name or something. IDK.
As for what to do with worst wolverine... IDK, I guess Logan Prime has a new drinking buddy?
It's weird and gross
Now it’s obvious marvel ever going to explain who the woman Mystique was before she became Mystique over a century ago she also named herself Raven Darkholme to really make sure her human roots are dead and buried. If I had to guess I’d say she’s from Georgia 🇬🇪 it’s an unusual country with its geographical location being in the middle of Europe and Asia and I always thought the Black Sea would play a part in her background.
I wanna read grant Morrisons run of xmen but I'm sure how many paperback volumes there are no website is giving me a clear answer
Never thought I'd find a random church of the subgenius reference in an 80s X-Factor comic. Weird!
recently went back and finally read the whole of excalibur. and i was shocked at how amazing it was. its amazing how people don't really talk about it, or maybe im just looking in the wrong places. cause at times i was enjoying this more than the mainline x men titles of the same period. it just felt so unique and creative, so weird and charming. that whole arc of them jumping dimensions really felt like i was watching dcs legends of tomorrow, (for those not familiar its one of the wackiest fucking shows. where they basically said fuck it, giant blue cgi teddy bear vs time demon fight) i initially started reading it to get nightcrawler and kittys character developments and changes but i actually found myself falling in love with captain britain and meggan, and even rachel who i did not care about at all previously. the whole thing was just such a fun ride and i wish people talked about it more often
Atleast for a while?
