People are literally so boring. A male character will kill 1000 people, steal candy from babies and they'll be like "omg thats my king!" But a female character is rude once? They're like "I hope she dies violently"
I mean, people will hate on women for making a single mistake, but those same people will have murderers, and abusers and toxic men as their faves.
I recently finished Sandman Mystery Theater and loved it. I'd be interested to read more books set in the 30s with the historical/Deco/jazz/NYC vibe, they don't have to be superhero or crime books.
I already read the Wesley Dodds Sandman miniseries that came out this year and enjoyed that too.
Is there anything anyone might suggest to read next?
Apologies if this is a common question, but I've been really enjoying the Power Fantasy by Kieron Gillen and Casper Wijngaard, and I was wondering if anyone knew whether it was a mini or an ongoing, I couldn't find a definitive answer anywhere else.
Thanks!
I have an Amazon Fire HD 10 but I really want a 12"
I saw a "Teclast" 12 at Amazon and due to the $170 price I was thinking of checking that out
What do you use, like?
Can't find much on the Internet, being I don't want to open the slips on them that got taped

It's a Kid about 6-7 yo? with a very nice mom and dad who demostrate their love, they are great and funny but suddenly when he wakes up a morning notices his mom and dad are gloomy and don't even talk to them, mom being in other rooms and dad too so he thought they were fighting, they both served him food and was super confused about "why where both ignoring each other" so he yells at both being in the couch and both of them where confused about why he say they are ignoring, but the plot it's that the kid is trapped between to parallel universes, when he slept one night, their parents went to another place that night and had an accident... but in an universe mom died and the other dad died, and he is trapped between two worlds, being capable of seeing the universe when one of them is alive, so he tells them about it and both believes him, and again restructured weirdly their family dynamics where the kid was the messenger between both parents, but once they get kinda stressed, parents start to fight and the kid is the only capable of say the awful stuff they where saying each other and cries, leaving him to run away home (being in dad worlds) and ended at a not far away park in mom's world.
That's where i finnished and thought i saved the last tiktok of the girl who was translating the comic, i can't find neither the account nor the tiktok video, can you help me?
Hi everyone. Can you please recomend me completed comics of 12 issues or less. I'm open to any type of comic be it american, european, latinamerican, manga, etc. If it't a not very well known comic either from a big company or indie I would appreciate it even more. Thank you in advance and sorry for my bad english. I'm still learning.
Anyone know where I can find affordble comic books for my 8yr old son?
In my last post I asked for rrecommendations on Lemires comics. What i decided on was Descender/Ascender, The Nobody and the Black Hammer universe. Is there anything I should add to this list. Definitive Lemire book?
I started reading East of West recently and I think the first two TPBs are decent, even if a bit slow.
I just found out that there is a one-shot for the series called East of West: The World. Is this required reading for the rest of the series, and if so, is it collected in any of the trade paperbacks, or will I have to buy it as a simple issue on the aftermarket?
I was wondering if someone could give me some recommendations for a few Christmas gifts for my boyfriend. He has always loved comic books when he was younger and is looking to get back into them, but hasn't got around to buying any. I recently bought him the first The Boys comic book and he enjoyed it, but I was thinking of getting him a few more for Christmas. He enjoys DC movies but I don't know much about the universe to know what to get him. He also enjoys superhero's in general but I, again, don't know much about what is popular etc. Any advice would be appreciated!
Had this thought watching the old Spider-Man cartoon. I'd been thinking, and I know I'm not the only one, that a Spider-Man 97' show or movie to go with X-Men 97 would be incredible. But the episode I was watching had Captain America show up, voiced by David Hayter, and I realized how much more fun an Avengers 97' show could be. They could continue Spider-Man and Iron Man and Hulk and give Captain America and Thor some more screen time than they managed to get in the old cartoons. It'd be an incredible cast:
And the best part of those 90's cartoons was how well and how accurately they adapted storylines from the comics, and there's tons of Avengers storylines that have never really been done. Would have to start with Captain America being rescued from the time vortex he got left in at the end of his Spider-Man episode, then could have Loki tricking everyone into trying to take down the Hulk just like the comic Avengers started. Then the sky's the limit. Could do a big Kang Dynasty arc if Disney wanted that corporate synergy (if they're even still doing that in the MCU).
Anyway, just a thought that I hope someone else enjoys too.
