That are canon, in general, a bit au/canon divergence, have interesting oc's, and/or are up to season 1 and its 11th episode? I'm currently in season one and finished its 11th episode and don't want any spoilers.
One I seen meantoned a few times is erg and I agree honestly I would have laughed if sentinel services locked his ass up someone meantoned he tore families apart so yeah him and the morlcoks get no sympathy for me
He shoulda focused his hatred on the very mutant who killed his daughter, instead of all of them who had nothing to do with it. Even his wife could not stand him anymore, and she was in just as much pain as he was.
I’m two episodes away from the season two finale and I’ve never hate watched a show like this before… like the writing the characters, the crazy deaths. I’m so mad because it has so much potential and yet they create plots that are good with such terrible ass characters 😂😂
I hate Lorna. I hate how they did Clarice. I hate everything about Andy. And I love their power but HATE the Frost Triplets. 🫡that’s all I had to say
I wish she would have stayed longer in the show; her powers are very pretty and useful, but I can understand why they did what they did. In my personal opinion, she has the most enchanting form of mind reading/memory manipulation.
I’m currently making a short video about different live action marvel universes, specifically the main characters in them. I have seen most of the movies/shows and most have a pretty clear main character. I have not yet seen the gifted (it’s on my watchlist) so I am unsure of who it would be. I know that the show centers around many characters but is there anyone that stick out more than the others, gets more screen time, or anything like that?
Which episode is the perfect place to stop watching this show guysss?? Like, I don't want to face the cliffhanger in the last episodes like everyone said but wonder if I can still enjoy the show anyways Update: Just finished the s2 finale and I gotta say: this is such an amazing experience. The series is much better than I expected it to be, the main cast is decent enough to enjoy, I'm actually surprised and glad that none of them are too annoying to watch (according to some ppl?), especially characters with grey morals like Polaris or Blink. For me personally, I just stopped the finale to avoid cliffhangers and it's fine ( i guess?) and I think it's a good choice to stop at 40:37 or 41: 27 specifically (shout out to the guy in the comment section)to make it more like an open ending
Some of my faves are The Gifted, The Vampire Diaries, Legacies, The Originals was least fave because I don't like most the show to be darkness, I like wholesome moments too and not just misery, The Tomorrow People from 2013, Star Crossed from 2014 was amazing though they dropped the ball by cancelling after 1 season, The Shannara Chronicles was also quite good.. can't think of anymore right this second but I adored Gifted and shows with supernatural powers that aren't evil.. I'm dying of boredome would love suggestions, I need suggestions please!! Hulu, HBO MAX, Disney or Netflix please🫶🏻
Okay so during season 2 she betrayed the underground for the morlcoks gave erg a list of names of mutants the underground had helped and there powers and willingly let erg mutilate the mutants who joined the morlcoks and when she joined the morlcoks not doubt she'd be happy to tear families apart because let's be honest erg probably made the mutants who live in his tunnels disown human friends and family and when the purifiers attacked I felt absolutely no sympathy for them because the morlcoks are no better than the purifiers and inner circle
cate just gets on my nerves so bad because she acts so stupid like she's so naïve she gets everyone into trouble and then she thinks that sorry will fix it and like i understand that she has to watch out for her kids but she's a nurse like how are you doing all of this how are you neglecting your nurse duties like in season two when she was pumping that guy full of kick, and also in season two she's just like a really bad mom and I've also noticed that she babies humans like so much like she acts like they're just wee little creatures who can't defend themselves and if anyone's mean to them they need a little fucking pacifier i don't know if I'm just being a hater and like i'm being mean to her for no reason but like she just makes me so angry. she acts all moral like shes high and mighty but she's lowkey prejudice.
stop i love emse but why is she always catching L's like marcos attacked her and lorna attacked her like i noticed shes almost always the ones getting hurt like why is she always the victim
As the title says I started ep 1 and ep 2 and it seems like the show is skipping major parts on disney plus for example when they met at the bar as soon as he started burning the dad it skipped to them in a random car driving to the meet up spot. Is it just a glitch on disney? Or is it the show?
We see one car go left in pursuit, and the other right in pursuit. From the perspective of the chasers, did they see the truck split into two like we do? Or do some of them see the truck go left and others see the truck go right?
Hey there, does anyone know what episode this scene is from?
What the title says, and frankly what the heck! I mean it could be super low budget at times, but the cast was awesome! I loved Blink, Lorna and Esme, plus Fenris, Thunderbird and Eclipse???? Also Reed is totally alive! They should have done at least season 3 with the days of future past plot. Too bad we provably won’t ever see this roster of X-men character in live action again.

He’s more than okay with hurting and murdering mutants including his own baby’s mom but when it’s the evil humans that actually torture and abuse the mutants he’ll victimize them and even defend them. But when it’s him doing it like torturing other mutants his sudden holier than thou “morals” are no where to be found. And let’s not even talk about him and the cartel where were his morals there when was profiting hurting others.
I just bought The Gifted: The Complete First Season DVD new in plastic from my local Goodwill store. The cover and the discs match the pictures of legit DVDs I can find on eBay, but the plastic case itself is different, and the discs are single layer, not dual layer (each disc is 4.19GB). Was the First Season a Manufactured On Demand DVD, or did I accidentally buy a bootleg?
Edit: I compared it to the DVD of another FOX show, Enlisted, which is a MOD DVD and the discs have a purple bottom, but Disc 1 is 6.45GB, and Disc 2 is 7.27GB. The Gifted discs have the silver bottom, so it's harder to tell if they are burned or pressed.
I understand I may twist some heads with this but hear me out.
In terms of power she’s high tier without being op (not all threats are made of metal)
She has a more personal stake in the mutant human conflict as a mother as opposed to everyone who is hunted
And mostly sees the forest for the trees. We are suppose to see her ripping a plane apart as a bad thing, even if she’s killing someone who wants her and her people dead period. Maybe I just admire she’s not afraid to dirty her hands as opposed to everyone who appeals to the morality of their oppressors (which never works)
Small thing: I find Marcos to be a bit of a hypocrite. It’s implied he’s done some bad shit in the past and even did some favors for his cartel buddies to help Lorna. Yet he turns his nose up at the idea of hurting people like the purifiers or sentinal services
I questioned why they would cancel such a good show. At first I respected the way they realistically had deaths in the show. It really represented if this was real, people would definitely be dropping easily like flies. But, idk i just drew the line at them killing off sage and clarice 😭 I feel like they took it too far right there, and ultimately the viewership probably dropped tbh and got the show cancelled. Just my guess.
I've read quite a lot of X-Men comics, and although some have similarities to the show (mainly in characters, of course), nothing quite hits the mark for me. Perhaps I haven't been looking in the right direction. As indicated in the title, I'd genuinely appreciate any recommendations for comics, books, or TV shows that capture a similar vibe. Thanks!!
I just finished this and it's annoying how it was left with a click hanger. Is there a fanfiction out that that would pick up where this left off?

Either the writing is weird or the acting is. The only good actor in the show is Emma Dumont. And I’m kinda mad that they killed off Sonya just to place Jonny and Clarice together, that’s kinda sick. They should’ve at least let Sonya remove the memory, it’s SO weird. Cartel girl’s acting was maddddd weird.
Okay so I don't know why people defended clarice when she stole for the morlcoks because in all honesty erg was no better than revva Payge and Benedict Ryan think about erg forced his fellow mutants to mutilate themselves to put a m on there face not only that how many mutants do you think erg made cut ties with human friends and family so yeah I don't understand the love for the morlcoks
What do you think would happen if Lauren during a underground mutant mission ends up disappearing, and Lauren ends up in the MCU by herself with no way back to her universe while encountering other teen heroes like The Runaways, Cloak & Dagger, Cassie, Kate, and Ms.Marvel?
