Help me find a wedding after party dress 🙏

• material: white sequin for sparkles
• length: midi to floor (yet most maxi is too long for my short height)
• style: halter backless + more A-line shape for dancing easily
• price range: $100-400

I’ve been looking at many places however for some reason nothing came up that meets what I want. Closest one is this http://www.revolve.com/dp/AMAN-WD1506/?deeplink=true&source=appshare beautiful yet it doesn’t have any zippers, so it was really hard to take it off without almost ripping it apart. (Yes ordered & returned :/)

Going to be taking measurements for a dress with a chiffon skirt that I’m going to need an underskirt/petticoat for. My question is when taking measurements (hollow to floor specifically) do I need to account for the petticoat shortening the dress?

I am doing a courthouse wedding in October 2025, followed by a reception dinner with immediate family only.

I know I don't want a full wedding gown, and I want a more simple mid-to-short length dress. I have tried on a few bridal dresses now, and this is the first dress I have tried on that I really like but it is not bridal!! Its a Reformation dress (Tommen Two Piece) and "only" $500, and I could wear it again as a wedding guest or to a fancy event.

But, I do also like white dresses and the classic 'bride' look. What are peoples thoughts?!? Should I keep looking?

This dress is beautiful to me but some people in my family are saying it looks nothing like a wedding dress. I love this type style but can’t find an actual wedding dress that is similar in style. Im opened to get it tailored and add whatever needs to be added.

I found the dress of my dreams, and I couldn’t be happier. May 10th can’t come soon enough.

Hi everyone! I’ve posted before about my dress and being pregnant.

Well, I’m 10 months away from my wedding. My dress does not fit. My hips got a bit wider after being pregnant and my back blew up! I’m working on trying to get back in shape, but with breastfeeding, it feels really hard.

In your opinion, what would you do? Would it be worth it to find another dress or hold out hope that I can get back into this one with enough time to alter it? I feel so silly because I had dress regret (which I blame on the hormones lol). I actually love my dress and I really am hoping to fit back into it.

Did you size up or down for your wedding dress? I’m sizes 0-2. I’m a size 2 in pants, but worry that if I happen to lose weight closer to my wedding this October, a size 2 dress might be too big? I tend to eat less when I’m stressed out, opposed to overeating, so I worry I might be smaller than I am now and just want a proper fitting. The dress I’m buying is online.

Hey y’all!!! I’m getting married later this year (woohoo)! This is the dress I picked but I’m so stumped on what veil/necklace/earrings/ shoes to go with!! Since the dress is all lace I don’t want to go with an all lace veil, but I also don’t like the look of a plain veil! For shoes I don’t really care too much because they won’t really show. Any suggestions!?

Like the title says. Picked up my dress this week and they took my measurements again. I thought it was weird because when you order the dress you sign your life away that the size you chose is okay. They measured me before I even tried on my ordered dress to begin with-which fit fine. Not a big deal but my mom and I thought it was bizarre? Any reason they would do this?

I found 2 ladies on Facebook who can custom make dresses for $575 and $650. Is this too good to be true? They accept paypal which i feel like is a green flag and as a Gen Z, it seems they truly do make dresses and are really people. The name of one is "isnt she lovely bridal boutique" and the other one is "king courts gowns"

I have my first fitting in the beginning of March so I need to begin looking for Shapeware. I’m looking for something that has tummy control as well as booty and thighs (to eliminate chaffing). Online I’ve looked at Spanx, Honey love & Shapermjnt. But even within each company, there are several options and it’s just getting so hard to decipher the differences.

I have a fitted white gown and my wedding is in New York State outside in June. Average daytime temps are typically in the mid to high 70s.

I want to feel supported, but I also want to know that I can move around and that I will not be a sweaty mess and uncomfortable. Restroom ease also a plus.

Any first-hand recommendations are appreciated!
