Like how does a 122mm Russian heat not do any damage to the side of a M4 like not even a hit mark
im still at rank 4 ground, is top tier actually thta bad...
Even when I have unlocked it and bind it to my Xbox controller I can't use it. Is there any way for me to fix this issue?
Nothing better than AIR TO AIR MISSILES after all thus grinding, A10 F-4C+Harrier Starfifghter and more. I Look forward to connecting with our community!
Recently I've back to this premium just to see after a like year of not using it since I didn't had to as I grinded almost all of tree back then, if this plane have still good missiles and here's my conclusions.
R-24R aren't as good as they used to be mainly because U cannot turn MTI since it's Automatic now and because of it missile just going by own mind rather than where it should, the missile is still good but the radar for it on this plane isn't serviceable like it used to be.
R-24T they still like flares but I encountered that they don't like them like earlier by that I mean they have some stronger resistance against them, and I've actually performed a much better gems and more constant being able to shoot down using only them 2/2 missiles into 2 kills. I enjoyed using them much more although they are still IR and can be flared easily.
(Also it's my favorite to see Starfighter using them as they can't react before it hits them)
If anybody have something to add about this missiles drop a comment down below or if u have same feeling like I have by that I mean T became better because of the stupid automatic function of MTI
very neat early rear facing radar
I just want to know if I'm the only one getting this error. Maybe it could have something to do with the upcoming update, but i can't confirm yet.
I was making some backgrounds and i went into my screenshot folder for wt and had 17,000 plus random screenshots with some having hundreds taken each day. They're just random shots of game moments and idk what I'm doing wrong.
So my wifi is pretty good and my computer can run war thunder fine, but for some reason I've been constantly getting booted out of my game. Why? Is this on my end or the snail's?
Earned my first nuke just now (Tiger II is a beast). I was almost immediately teamkilled. Punishment for team killing a nuke carrier should be harsh. I get accidental bombings. Been there done that, but to intentionally teamkill just ruins the game.
I'm just trying to stay in this bracket. But for whatever reason it seems to keep putting me up to 11.3 and 11.7. I'm consistently seeing Fujis, CV90120s, and FlaRakRad/Puma VJTFs. Getting untiers is actually fucking ridiculous why is this a thing. There's not a single argument that makes sense. I want to play at 10.0-10.3. Put me there. Not up with Su39s and KA50s.
So far I just have the pt unlocked and almost the comet (crew) . But holy hell I hate it, 5.0 is fine for me but as soon as I put the pt in I'm fighting 5.7s. Or is it because I also have the AA from the next rank up unlocked? It's sits at 4.7 I think so i thought that would be fine. Not new to warthunder I just casually play on ps5😅
Every single time the first 5 to 10 matches I play I get down tiered, after that it is sky-rocketing up tiers.
Just incase anyone says I'm biased, I recorded some data when I got the Pershing at 6.7BR:
1.Didn't see any tiger IIs or Ferdinands, so below 6.7
2.Lots of Tiger H1 s, killed around 5 of them, saw 1 Tiger II, so around 6.0
3.Blend of AMX-M4, m51, Panther and Tiger II Ps, so around 6.5
4.Saw a lot of Tiger II Hs and Jagdtigers, so around 7.0
5.Another blend of Tiger H1s, Es, Panther and Churchill III, so around 5.7
6.Sighted mainly IS-2 and T34-85s, occasionally an AMX-M4 so around 6.3
7.Some Panthers, saw 2 wrecks of panther Fs, killed a Panther A, got killed by Tiger II P, so around 6.4
8.Large amounts of IS-3 and Tiger II Hs, saw one wreck of T34-85, so around 7.1
9.Like the last mission there were IS-3 and Tiger II Hs, one BTR-80A sighted, saw the death report of an IS-4, so around 7.5
10.Got the commies on our side, faced varients of Tiger IIs and FV4202s and some other tanks at similar BR, so around 7.1
11.More BTR-80As and Tiger II P Hs, along with Ho-ri and Jagdtigers, so around 7.3
12.Similar to last game but saw a cute little m22, faced Ho-ri s, the whole German-Power-Bundle and around 3 IS-4s made their appearance in the chat so around 7.5
Later games are similar to 12, faced BTR-80As, German-Power-Bundle, Ho ri, AMX-m4, T-44, IS-4s and 3s.
Things similar to this happened when I first got the m36, the m4a3e2, so if this isn't a calculated algorithm by the system what is it?
granted not all of them but still
Picked myself up a PS5 the other day. Overall pretty hyped, it's my first console for about 10 years so there's plenty of titles for me to work my way through now my schedule has time for gaming again. One game though, that I've absolutely loved on my ancient laptop, is of course War Thunder. I'm predominantly an air arcade / realistic player, probably heavier on the arcade side. The tanks are good fun too but aviation is my real love in this game, specifically the props.
Curious about people's experiences on the PS5? How painful is it to try and maneuver a prop with a PS5 controller?
Also, I assume I'll have to start over with a new account? Is there a problem having two accounts with one email? Do I have to pick a different username? My Steam account is bound to the Gaijin account I had to create, if that makes a difference here?
Is the pain and suffering worth it to be able to game on the sofa with the big TV?
I am approaching this mostly from the Swedish tech tree (I've never reached ATGM carriers with other tech trees), and am approaching this from the perspective of ATGM carriers with no armour and no (decent) gun. So when I say ATGM carriers below, I mean no gun and no armour. So please don't bring up the tiny little heavily armoured Russian thing that can shoot ATGMs over hills and tank AP rounds, or IFVs with 30mils and ATGMs on them.
ATGM carriers are extremely situational at the moment. The only time I can score more than 2 kills with them is if I go complete goblin mode and get behind the enemy lines, find a good camping spot and hit a few of them as they are looking the wrong way. The only time I really see ATGMs in use is on IFVs or that Russian rat tank ATGM carrier thing.
In head on fights, most players at these BRs are good enough to keep an eye out for ATGMs and then reverse into cover if they see any (or just put [insert large calibre round of choice here] round through you), so not much point shooting from the front unless they are distracted and already about to die. When you are close enough to shoot front that they can't move out of the way, you will get hosed by MG fire. The only time this does not happen is if you and backup run into a lone tank and they are too focused on your allies to hose you down. But at that point the enemy will die to an ally if you don't get them.
Side on and rear attacks only work against anything other than lone tanks without extremely situational cover available. So you spend a lot of time sitting there, doing noting, waiting for people to move on.
ATGM carrier are opportunistic, so they should be doing other things (like scouting) and then firing off an ATGM when the opportunity arises.
The autoloader that make senses to me are the postwar French autoloader with oscillating turret. These turret pitch up and down, instead of just the barrel and allow the first stage ammo rack to always be aligned with the barrel.
Then you have the modern mbt like the Type 10 or the T-80 or even the 155mm SPH where they have autoloader putting ammo in moving barrel. How does this work?
