Any Idea if they'll open new sections for MAT-172 online since there are only 3 and all of them have a waitlist of over 15?
Has anyone taken NET226 at the same time as other classes and working full time?
I know NOS-130 and NOS-230 are going to be a bit heavier since i'm taking them both in the spring 8-week minimester.
Would it be a bad idea to take NET226, NOS-130 and NOS-230 in the same semester? It's my last semester before graduation and I don't want to prolong graduation if I can, but I don't want to stress myself out either. I have the option to do a full 16 weeks for NOS-130 and do NOS-230 in the spring for 8 weeks. I already have Windows/ IT helpdesk experience.
Have any of yall had your portage credits accepted by WTCC?
WT are telling me my stats course from Portage doesn’t transfer . I am definitely going to try to appeal it for a few reasons . Portage is accredited . The stats class I took at portage was more academically involved than several courses I’ve taken at WT , and Duke and UNC accepted my portage stats class when I did transcript evaluation. I have a prior bachelors degree and have taken several post bacc courses as well, and I’d say the portage course was definitely comparable to a 1000 level college course taken at other institutions, even more so since it’s self paced so required self teaching to complete . Exams were proctored .
Just wanted to put the feelers out there and see if any of yall have had success . Wake tech being a public institution should accept their credits IMO and I’m not sure why they don’t !
Has anyone had a course with Tshantshapanyan? I dont understand why they require you to have a support class its a waste but everything is full except this person
Hi! I'm in the Wake Tech Construction Management program. Our local PCEA chapter is discussing about helping sponsor a club/chapter at Wake Tech for Wake Tech students. I'm reaching out to gauge interest. This would be a good networking and learning opportunity for not just estimators, but anyone interested in construction, architecture, interior design, or civil engineering. Reach out to me at my wake tech email - aewarren@my.waketech.edu or simply respond here letting me know you're interested.
Hey there is David Cooper a good math teacher? Math is literally the only thing I have left and I suck at it. Anyone take his class? Thoughts?
I currently failed my ENG111 and the support class. Dealt with a hard patch in my life, would it be better if I asked to be withdrawn before the semester officially ends or just take the Failure? If I withdraw now what would happen to my financial aid ?
We've got two weeks left and I'm a full time student suffering from burnout. How do yall usually deal with burnout? Also I seen somewhere where anything below a grade 75 is failing a class at wake tech is that true? Have a 78.6 rn and I'm sweating bullets.
I’m a highschool student taking 2 classes through dual enrollment. And I think I’m gonna fail one of them. I started to lose motivation and failed keep up with the work. It’s my first time doing ccp so I’m still learning and figuring things out. How major will failing the course impact my transcript/gpa? Should I retake it? The course I think is considered one of the easier ones, art-111.
hey, for the scrubs when are we supposed to be wearing them? i know we have to for clinicals but do we wear them during labs too?
I’m doing the graduation ceremony on December 7th. If anyone has a ticket that they aren’t gonna use it I would love to get it if that is possible.
hello everyone, for the instructor boozer for nurse aide 1 what hospital does she assign and which floor of the hospital are we going to be on? also any advice for nurse aide 1?
what part of the hospital would we be in for clinicals?
Has anyone taken MAT-252 Statistical Methods II here at Wake Tech? If so, what was your experience? I hate stats, I took MAT-152 with Harrison (a good professor!) but struggle with the concepts. Also, it's been almost a year now since I would be taking a stat class. If you have experience with Professor Chase Tuttle, please let me know! Advice for the class, like exams, homework, etc. is much appreciated! Thank you!
I’m taking online classes and have three textbooks for the class. I have to return them by 12/16. Does anyone know how to return my textbooks?
Looking to get into the industry and wondering if this would be worth it . Looking at entry level employment
When are we getting the Spring 2025 refunds I know the December is before the spring classes start but after that the other refunds come February
Hey, what happens if I fail a class my first semester here? Will they take my refund away?
Hi is crocs fine for the clinical for nurse aide 1?
Any recommendations for a black non canvas shoes for nurse aide 1?
Which one should I take ?
I’m enrolled in English-112 and don’t want another class that’s heavily essay based and clash with my English course.
Any information about either of these courses are greatly appreciated !! I’m leaning more towards PHI because it sounds a lot more fun than HUM.
EDIT: Thank you to everyone who commented! I dropped PHI-240 and taking HUM-115 🙂↕️
hi, for the scrubs for nurse aide 1 can we get them from figs for clinicals? also what does the color of the under top long sleeve have to be can it be white or navy blue?
Is it just me or does anyone else find that the eLTC is really noisy and disruptive while taking their tests? I’ve never taken a test in a room where people (specifically the proctors) just talk so loudly.
I have ADHD and minimal noise doesn’t bother me but the proctors are just engaging in unnecessary convos it’s annoying. The people around me don’t seem to be bothered so idk if it’s just me.
Is anyone having trouble with the self service/logging in/looking at your courses?
hello everyone, im going to be starting my nirse aide 1 class soon and i was wondering does anyone have study tips, quizlets i cam use to study for the class?
Does anyone feel anxious while waiting to get accepted into the program? I feel like I didn’t do very well since I have several B grades on the admission checklist. :( Any sharing or advice would be helpful
Has anyone completed Mech engineering while working full time? Just asking how? I’m currently taking 5 classes and have all a’s but I work from 0500-17:30 everyday and the rest of the classes I need to take are all in person but they run from around 10-12:30ish during the week. Is the only way to complete this degree to find another job so I can work nights (obv Ive emailed my counselor just looking to see if anyone else has been able to make it work)
