What does everyone's day to day training and diet look like at the moment?
For context, I've been focusing on strength training the past 18 months and have been in a calorie deficit to lose body fat over that period with 3 full body sessions a week at the gym plus walking every day
Since shifting my focus to running and wanting to do more with that I'm still doing the 3 gym sessions but also now doing 3 runs a week too
I want to make sure I'm eating sufficient carbohydrates to replenish any lost glycogen but also want to make sure I'm eating sufficient protein for recovery
Any ideas for daily meals for running focused but also strength training?

Third run of the week. Managed just shy of 5k!! (4.957km according to Strava)
I could have done the full 5 if I would have just ran down one more street I reckon
Couple of days rest now before back out on Tuesday
Turns out I am a lot fitter than I give myself credit for
18 months ago before I started my weight loss journey I was 280lbs and couldn't even run down my street without getting shin splints, a stitch and gasping for breath. Shit, I couldn't even walk up the stairs without having to catch my breath at the top.
Here I am now, 214lbsCW and I managed this.
Shows just how far I have come and one step closer to my goal of doing the Great North Run (UK based Half Marathon) next September!

Hi everyone!
Fellow vegan runner and doing my first marathon in 2 weeks. I am hoping to get some tips / suggestions on meals leading up to the marathon. I understand carb loading is good and am wondering what everyone’s week or two diet looks like before the big day. Do you carb load for a few days or a week or two before? What specific foods do you love. I would love getting multiple meal suggestions/recipes to have some ideas ready and so I’m not eating the same couple things every day.
Any other tips leading up to the race appreciated!
