Hi,
I use the highest version of FL Studio and I'm looking to get a piano VST to make solo piano music.
So my questions are:
Acoustic treatment and even headphones are just not an option for me as I live in a rented apartment and some other reasons too. However, I love solo piano music and want to make a career out of it.
If I need an acoustically treated space (or headphones), why exactly do I need it if I'm using the same 88keys on my piano VST? I'm new to this so might be a dumb question.
Also, do I need a MIDI keyboard to use a piano VST or can I just use the piano roll for the VST and draw in the notes?
Do some of you have experience with this? Have they fixed the servers or is it still shit? Been thinking of buying it but 100 is a big price, so Im asking first.
I heard that many plugins (compressors, etc.) from "waves" are famous and used a lot. However, I heard that there are also quite a few things called IK Mixbox, and that you can create sounds by combining these. Can IK Mixbox alone replace Waves' paid plugins? Or is there no comparison?
How about Musio1? There are so many ads here and there that I think they put a lot of effort into removing them. Maybe they can. As for the negative reviews, I think they are quite slow in updating low quality stuff.
Is there anyone who disappoint about it? If so, could you explain about it?
Is Total Studio 4 MAX worth buying? I'm a beginner so I don't know much, but I wonder if it's just a collection of old stuff. I've heard that modo bass is a good product. But the other products are good so I don't know if it's worth buying.
What I currently have are Omnisphere and PIgments5.
Please give me some advice.
Hello:
I am trying to create some backing tracks/jam tracks to play guitar over.
I really like the drums that Elevated Jam Tracks uses on his tracks, and was looking for something like that.
I will mostly be making blues tracks, funk tracks, ballads and light/contemporary music, and some rock and metal.
Thank you!
Both of these VSTs are on sale for around $60 right now. I'm a huge fan of that vintage rhodes sound and I'm wondering which one I should go with.
yes, im aware of his (actually good) amplitube signature library, but what im talking about is a virtual instrument with the samples of his guitar, played with a coin, having all the phase things and etc
Wavesfactory had done one in the past called Royal Guitar, but it was really crappy and the only way to use it is through not so legal ways, i'd love to see a modern version of that idea
Hi! I was intrigued by the Hikari Monos device that was shown in this interview with Skee Mask (https://youtu.be/-xSWEzKFmLQ?si=4Knshu6qgiBGJvF5). Here's a demonstration of it - https://youtu.be/LAkTp9Kd0iA?si=2Vwm4_u68Ph7gLvC
I don't want to have more physical gear lying around, so I'm wondering if any of you know of a VST that produces similarly stochastic-seeming blips and noises? Even better if it's fun and simple.
I'm looking for a tts program that can run the same voice as the computer that sang 'daisy bell'. Anyone know a guy??
So I am looking for a VST that gives me the instruments of celtic/norse like music. Think Wardruna type of instruments.
I found Asgard Sampler but I see quite a bit of negative reviews about it. Mainly because it's not worth the money for what it is.
I did also see Albion Solstice from Spitfire. That costs way more, but seems to contain more.
I don't have experience with buying VST's and I've only used free ones like BBC Symphony. But I am missing that authentic sound of the primitive strings, horns and percussion.
I don't know what to choose. Anyone have experience with either? Let me know what you think. I can only buy one of them.
Maybe I haven't typed the correct prompt to find this if it's answered already.
Is there a way to change the default path from the Steinberg folder Windows always assumes?
Thanks!
so i just bought a vst called note grabber two hours ago.
here is the site where i downloaded from :
the plugin looks very cool but i cant find any way to use it once the installation wizzard ends.
the software that i use, which is maschine 2 from native instruments, does not detect it even if i change his directory destination. I thik i've tried everything.
I cant even find a way to run it standalone on my pc, what seems to be the opposite of that i thougt of the product when i was reading the description.
i figured out that any vsts i already had came with both a .vst3 and a .dll file, which is not the case with what this wizzard installed on my pc.
can this missing be the issue ?
Otherwise can someone tell me if this is a scam ? i personnaly dont thik so, since I found customer reviews on the internet.
thanks for reading
I have omnisphere and pigments5. I want to find bells and stuff like carols and make a carol, but I can't find the instruments related to this. What library has something like this?
Every time I hit play on a melody (Ilya Efimov Nylon Guitar) it gives 2 different tones.
It does the same thing in FL Studio and Ableton.
How to fix it?
Is there any vsts where you can add bends and that type of stuff for a slightly realistic guitar solo?
I basically just need help finding a steel snare drum vst or piccolo drum vst or just one that sounds like this….
Hello, I own a small YouTube channel and I'm constantly publishing videos about free guitar/bass plugins, especially for rock and metal. Amp sims, impulses, dynamic processors and Reaper templates. It might be helpful to you. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsQ5QUnvy3uPmF8kQHyVv1c9v8n4xXXCJ
idk if this is the right thing to ask but anyone know what vst/soundbank(s) Andy Pls used at the beginning of 65 saves? I fell in love with the sound as it brings me back to my childhood for some reason. Like everytime I listen to it it gives me chills. Idk if its a harp type of instrument or an 3x osc kind of thing. Any help would be awesome https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGGDIYbZ1ts&pp=ygURYW5keSBwbHMgNjUgc2F2ZXM%3D

I've heard amazing things about Sonnox but have not bought any of their plugins. The Oxford Inflator often comes up as a must-have.
Any other Sonnox favorites I should check out?
Many thanks.
