Howdy everyone! Oktoberfest season is upon us once again. We are lucky to live in an area with so many fantastic breweries and communities that love their German heritage.

I am still awaiting a response from several Breweries and Groups on if/when they will be holding their festivities this year. Of note, Lovettesville is not having its celebration this year, and it is one of the largest in the region (no idea why).

There are also some local(ish) festivals included in the document. I have also included a Google Maps version of the list if you want to go roadtriping!

Where can I get amazing IPAs near Floyd or Roanoke

Patch Brewing Company is holding its Phase I opening on September 18, 2021. Come and see the only Virginia brewery with a baseball field, a dog park and a children's play area.

We will be pouring our initial four beers as well as cider and wine. We have a food truck in the afternoon as well as live music from 2-5pm. All members of the family are welcome, as well as dogs on leashes.

I have to drive from NoVA down to Smith Mountain Lake. Taking 29 the majority of the way. Any suggestions on breweries to hit on the drive down? Mainly thinking in the Lynchburg/Amherst area. thanks!

Any home brew shops/ anywhere that will rent jockey boxes or kegerators out?
