Are ya’ll still watching?

Hey how are y’all! I’m a new MLS fan this year following Charlotte F.C. bc of the deal on Apple TV. What happened to this sub? How come it isn’t active like NFL and NBA?

I don't understand why Ozzie wants to free Cuba, Castro freed Cuba in the 1960s!

Breaking: All of MLS to play at Red Bull Arena

It has been announced that all of MLS will play at Red Bull Arena because that’s the best idea they could come up with. New bubble!

[Thread] USMNT Self Destruction Discussion

I think the USMensNepotismTeam is literally the worst team in CONCACAF. Cuba was a fluke and Canada is going to win the World Cup. DAE worst USMNT since the 1970s.

No we don’t have a life, as long as it make you more money MLS-You Needn't Care about the Season Ticket Holders

Major League Soccer today announced that the kickoff time for the Portland Timbers' match on Sunday, Sept. 15, against D.C. United has been changed to 12:30 p.m. as part of the league's flex scheduling updates. Originally, kickoff was scheduled for 4:30 p.m.

As the race for Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoff positions ramp up, flex broadcast scheduling during the final month of the regular season allows national broadcast partners to select the most compelling matches and pivotal moments throughout the league.

Josh Sargent Snub: Why Greg Berhalter Should Be Fired

Ever since I began playing FIFA 18 with Atlanta United, I've been an avid USMNT fan and supporter. That loss to Trinidad James in October 2017, was easily one of the worst nights I've ever witnessed. The lackluster play, and the hopeless has-beens of Omar Gonzalez, Kristjian Pulisic, Michael Badley, Jozy Altidore, and Clunt Dempseh really showed me how the late 00s/early 10s era of USMNT is over.

Now I am an optimist, and I was throughly impressed with David Saracha's inclusion of young and upcoming players in the USMNT player pool, such as Josh Sargent, Tim Weah, Keegan Rosenberry and Fafà Picault. Fresh faces to infuse the team really gave me up. After that 3-0 demolition of Bolivia and that 1-1 draw in France, I knew the U.S. would win the 2022 World Cup and would silence the haters and cynics on reddit and bleacher report.

2019 was suppose to be the moment, the test, the first ability of our new coach, and our new squad in a very meaningful competitive tournament: the CONCACAF Gold Cup. We had to turn a leaf, and I cannot stress how disturbingly conservative and naive it is of a manager with only 8 years of professional coaching experience to exclude Josh "Red Rover" Sargent, and Tim "The Son" Weah. Are we REALLY going to pick Nick Lima, and Own Goalzanlez (HE COST US THE WORLD CUP BTW) over these two future stars. Omar plays in MLOLS and so does Nick Lima. Meanwhile, Timothy Weah is getting regular first team TRAINING at CELTIC. THE CELTIC FOOTBALL CLUB. Sargent plays and trains with a Bundesliga club. I know we can be a sensitive bunch here in /r/MLOLS, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. We cannot possibly think the level of competitive play is higher in an MLS regular season match than it is in a Bundesliga training session scrimmage?! Have we become delusional? Really after this 1-0 loss to Jamaica with all these mediocre MLOLS players, Berhalter ought to be sacked.

Hell, I'm worried this USMNT team in the 2019 Gold Cup won't even score a goal with Gyasi Zardes leading the charge. I bet if we took the US U-20 team with JAMES SANDS as the center linchpin, we'd wreck shop on all the teams and win the Gold Cup without conceding a goal. Anyways, I'm not being a cynic, just realistic. I hope my karma reassures my complaints. But hey, maybe a poor Gold Cup will show us Greg Berhalter isn't the answer, and some random European coach with an accent can right the ship!

Stop Rewarding MLS Cup Winner with CCL Spot

Makes no sense sending low quality teams to the CCL. The MLS Cup format, insignificant prize money award, and the overall lack of incentive for clubs to try and win all produce MLS cup winners that do not belong in CCL.
