so i've been using ahud-cc for a while now and i will say its one off my favorites huds so far. but for some reason, one of the "quality of life fixes" is entierly removing explosion effects, but its no big deal bc i just DELETED THE FILES THAT CAUSE THAT (remarking for no misunderstandings), however, the effects of the jumper weapons (rocket and sticky jumper) have some sorts of property that hides them entierly and i cant stand it anymore.

if someone knows why this happend and/or knows how to fix it please let me know.

i did get a community ban which has been revoked exactly a week ago, shouldn't i be able to trade by now?

i asked steam support how long it would take for me to be able to trade again (2 days ago), still not any response

the Righteous Bison (if you even know what it is and does) is obviously a bad weapon no the WORST weapon in tf2 said by many tf2 players and that's all because some Valve Employee saw it and went "man I don't like how this weapon is already pretty bad let's make it MORE bad!" and that's how we ended up with the Righteous Bison we have today and tf2 players REALLY and I mean REALLY went new weapons so why not make the Righteous Bison good balanced and fun to use all at the sametime now I am not a pro at making good weapons or even a little bit good at it but maybe you guys can make a fun balanced and good version of the Righteous Bison so post your Righteous Bison ideas here and please keep it serious too

I'm pretty new with tf2 and I want a class and collection of cosmetics that fit him. I'm just looking for a turtleneck mask, a shirt that somewhat looks like that, dark brown short hair and cacky pants (I'm pretty sure it's on scout which is on my least played class). bonus points if it's cheap, is on one of my mains (engineer and medic)

For me the problem isn't the concept or how it's implemented, since in my opinion it's part of sniper's job to be very annoying and quite powerful. But the problem lies in the unlocks , jarate provides insane utility for minimum effort, it has huge blast radius of 200 hammer units, and provides too much for no effort, buff banner requires soldier to deal 600 damage to charge it's minicrits , cleaner's carbine needs you to deal 100 damage with it, and it's relatively hard to do with smaller mag size and slower fire rate, but the jarate just needs 20 seconds (16 if you extinguish a teammate), and if you headshot someone with Sydney Sleeper you can be even more of a menace by making it recharge 1 second faster, and let's not forget about a bushwacka. And thus you can theoretically level the playing field in case spy wants to trickstab you. Or if the spy is trying to flee you can make him seen by throwing a jar at this poor soul, or you can throw it at an enemy team while your team is fighting them and just win the fight with one jar. And now to less op and more annoying, the razorback , it's just annoying, but it may ruin a spy's day if the sniper is positioning himself in the range of a sentry. Because if the sniper has ears you are pretty much at a disadvantage either way. And it's just bad game design that this thing is just a middle finger to an entire class and not something like a softcounter or some other weird thing. And Darwin's Danger Shield is my personal pain in the rear because I main Pyro, and this thing is pretty much made to make me suffer, and it's just another middle finger weapon that is just boring and provides nothing cool , homewrecker can at least be used against engie's buildings too and the spy-cicle doesn't feel as harsh due to matchup still being in pyro's favor. But in case of the Danger Shield, it just throws the matchup dynamic out of the window. Okay , obligatory sniper tf2 rant is over.

So I was playing tf2 with my friends as spy. I was also multitasking watching a YouTube TF2 animation. In the animation, it mentioned throwing paint onto a sentry which confused it and made it attack the 'enemy team' (its own team. It got me thinking.

What if there was a sapper for spy. It lasts as long as a normal sapper does, yet it has a 3 second delay. After it's delay and placement, it starts attacking its own team. (Minimal damage but it's still there). And it keeps attacking until a engineer repairs it, or the sentry is destroyed like a normal dapper. It's name could be like switcher sapper or something. Man valve hit me up.

Hello, i got like 20 hours in tf2 and i keep seeing people go out of bounds in 2fort and other maps, but specially in 2fort... i cant find any videos or guides on it, any idea if they are still possible for steam version? If so... how? (I only play normal gamemodes, that means no colision on teammates and i dont have the paid version to play competitive even tho i dont think that matters)

After fiddling around with VTFedit for the better part of 2 hours, I found spraygen, which was much easier. The only issue is that my gif is going a bit faster than I'd like. I tried to add more frames, but that didnt slow it down at all. Anybody have the same issues?

I've been playing this game for about 2,000 hours, but I always take long breaks; sometimes year-long; purely because of the frustration Sniper induces within me.

I can go from having a fun game to completely losing enjoyment the moment a reasonably/mildly competent Sniper joins the enemy or my team. Suddenly, half or sometimes more of the map is cut off, making the game far less enjoyable, I just love losing purely because I chose to play the game at the same time as some basement dwelling homunculus's.

You just know Sniper mains are going to come out of the woodwork, touting things like "just stay out of sightlines" or "look for the laser dot." No—piss off, you abhorrent, lice-infested troglodyte.

And when you do get next to him, he either whips out a swift random Crit or, worse, the Jarate-Bushwacka combo meal. why can this slippery fatberg of a human designed specifically for long range engagements use on of the best close range tools.

I love this game, but Sniper is possibly the worst playable character in gaming history, his simple existence within the game hinders any possible fun for me.

P.S. Does anyone know of a sniper-free CTF server?
