A place to discuss Team Fortress 2 weapon stats, game mechanics, and come up with ideas for new weapons.

Rules

  1. Posts must be related to weapons only. Weapon visuals, concepts and rebalances are allowed with a few exceptions (More on rule 2). No gamemode ideas or other content that is not related with weapons.

  2. Be as grounded as possible. No excessive references or ideas that would be nigh impossible in tf2. This includes nonsensical ideas that are referencing popular SFMs or anime, or balance ideas that are designed for other community mods, such as TF2 x10 or TF2 Classic.

  3. No NSFW (Not Safe For Work) posts are allowed. This includes innuendos.

  4. No harassment. Personal attacks are not allowed. Harsh critique is allowed to some extent, but try to keep it as civil as possible. In the same vein, try to not get offended for receiving critique for your ideas.

  5. No random weapon generator posts. This extends to promoting random weapon generator apps.

  6. No CaSC (Counter a Specific Class) items, where CaSC = Any weapon/item that is specifically programmed for targeted, unequal use against any-one class/class specific mechanic.

  7. Memes are not allowed on this subreddit. This includes joke weapons.

  8. Users may not make more than 3 posts at once within 24 hours to prevent the front page from being too clogged.

[QUESTION] - Question; You would like to ask the subreddit questions about what stats they would design for a weapon or if you want some help balancing one of your weapon ideas

[VISUAL] - Visuals; you've got an image or drawing of the weapon you're discussing

[SET] - A set of weapons; this can be used for weapon ideas you'd like to share that are all part of a set

[CROSSOVER] - Crossovers; for when your post is designed to reference another game or show

[Rebalance] - Rebalancing existing weapons; this is used for any official weapons in game that needs to be balanced, or a revision for posts after receiving feedback

[Mass Rebalance] - Mass rebalancing existing weapons; for posts that contain more than 5 rebalances of official weapons at a time

[Contest] - Contests; for community hosted events where the subreddit can participate and have fun, under specific rules. An end time must be stated.

it dose 15 damage per cut and swings every .5 secs but you HAVE to get close. or throw it where each second its in the air it adds +3 to base damage. once thrown you need to wait 8 seconds or grab it from where its stuck (can be in wall or a person)
