Does anyone remember hearing the Martin’s Super Market jingle in their older commercials? It went something like… “Mar-tin’s su-per mar-ket, count on us!” I’ve been wanting to show it to my husband but haven’t been able to find it anywhere..
Edit:
I was looking and this is the closest I could find! I remember the tempo being a bit different tho..
I want to get a family member an old STUDEBAKER pocket watch. I found one on eBay that's not working. It's a mechanical movement and should be something an adept watch shop could fix up and get back to working order.
Does anyone have a recommendation on where I could take it locally to have to repaired? I don't really want to buy one if I can't get it working and my watch making skills leave much to be desired.
So very unfortunate but I bought tickets to a bar crawl and they just canceled the event and refunded everyone. I had taken the following day off so I want to still go out 🥲 does anyone know if there's any other events for tomorrow? Or Any local bars throwing any Halloween themed parties?
Hey everyone! I’m looking for a scanner in the Mishawaka/Southbend area. I need to scan about 30 pages and don’t have access to one, any help is appreciated!
Based on price and location I’m currently debating between CFX and World Gym. The main determining factor for me is how crowded each one usually is.
I currently go to Planet Fitness and while I usually go during off times (usually between 7-9pm) I find myself waiting for equipment more often than I’d like. I usually use the smith machine, a bench and dumbbells, and various isolation machines.
I know this has been asked a bunch of times, but the newest post I saw was 7 months ago(except for the housing question from a few days ago, and OP's budget was much less than mine).
I got a new job that requires me to move to the South Bend area, and am looking for advice on what neighborhood/areas are good or bad, and/or what apt complexes are good/bad. I have a wife, and an adult daughter with a dog who sometimes needs to be walked at night, so I need areas that are safe for a woman to walk at night as I am not always available to walk the dog in the evening.
Trying to find a decent 2 bedroom to rent in or around South Bend(apt, condo, townhouse or house). My budget is preferably around $1,500/month or less, but i could go higher if it means a safer location. Lease length of 1 year or less is preferable.
So i would really appreciate any and all suggestions and advice.
Thanks
Anyone have any ideas where to host a nice brunch bridal shower for 15-20 people? I was hoping for a restaurant we could rent out a room for or a small space to rent? Thanks!
Does anyone know?
The original post didn’t get much traction, but is there anything happening Halloween night to go to? I feel like most of the events I’m seeing are for families and kids… And most of the events for young adults happened last weekend. Any recommendations?
I've been noticing a lot of Asian ladybeetles all over town the last few days and have had them start investing my home. If anyone else has begun having issues as well, Raid works really well on them. I tried the natural route, but vacuuming them and releasing them outside didnt help because they just found their way back in. Vinegar helped a little, but Raid has been the lifesaver.
Edit for spelling and to add that Asian Ladybeetles are different than ladybugs although they do look very similar. Ladybugs are the red ones and are good for insect and pest control in your yard. Asian ladybeetles are typically orange and have a W shape on their head. They invasive and a pest.
Saturday, November 2nd join The Erly with their final show of the year in South Bend at The Garage Arcade Bar. This will be the "Welcome Home" showcase following their "Salem Lights" Release Tour. Starting the show off will be the Latin-Psychedelic Rock powerhouse Los Electro hailing from Fort Wayne! A night not soon to forget. Grab a couple friends and come enjoy the Americana-Jam of The Erly.
Hey Guys! I'm currently doing a project for school, and my group has been tasked with exploring the community culture of SB, so naturally I have come to reddit for help. What are some spoken and unspoken rules and traditions that you live by as part of this community?
Does anyone know of a restaurant that does the Feast of the 7 fishes in the surrounding area? I have always wanted to try it...🍤🍽
Yay 80F In late October!!!
Son and daughter-in-law are going out for the first time after the birth of their first kid. She’s craving a tenderloin. Who, in the area, has the best?? Thanks
Looking to take new headshots. Anyone know of a good place in the South Bend area?
I just left a domestic violence relationship and I'm looking to get rid of all of my stuff. I collect a lot of retro games electronics weeb and nerd stuff, rare video games. Niche stuff. Japanese things, rare books, manga anime etc.
I just have so much. Absolutely so much stuff and I don't just want to throw it away. I already lost so much and I would like to get a little bit for it.
I posted a lot of stuff on marketplace but just no one is interested. I don't know where all of the nerds are of the area, but if I had a chance to look at the stuff I had I would be all over it.
Looking to sell everything for like half off of what it's worth online.
I've got thousands of dollars worth of stuff and there's a really good opportunity to make money here, but I just can't be in the area anymore.
I am located more towards the Goshen area, but there's not really a Reddit for over there.
Any recommendations for places to get wisdom teeth out for a grad student without dental insurance? My wisdom teeth are causing extreme pain / shifting in my mouth, so I’d like a process that’s quick and as cheap as possible without being screwed over in the long run. I also don’t know if I should get dental insurance just to have the procedure. If anyone is comfortable sharing the prices and the process and such even over dm I’d appreciate it.
Hello All! We are filming a horror movie and we are searching for a gated community.
It doesn’t have to be a gated community per se but it has to look like one.
We just need the gate to open and close, so if anyone know someone with a gated house- comment below!
The gate should look newer and not commercial like a prison. 😃
Looking to update my online profiles. Any suggestions for professional head shots in the area?
Hello! I own a 2.8 inch blade knife and on the pocket holster one of the screws are stripped on the inside. Does anyone know any places that can fix it? Any advice is appreciated thank you.
