    Can anyone suggest where this photo was taken?

    I believe it was taken in South Africa (possibly in Bulawayo or Rhodesia??) in the mid 1950s

    Where can I learn more about the water in the big hole. Is it toxic? Are there fish? The environmental impact etc. I’m struggling to find more information than the basic how it was made.
