I know money's tight for a lot of people right now so I thought I'd share this deal I just found. Simplycook.com is one of those subscription meal businesses like HelloFresh that sends out weekly meal kits. They're good if you can't be bothered shopping or want make something new without researching recipes.

Anyway long story short they're running a deal right now where you can get a meal box with 4 meals for just £1.00. That includes delivery too and you can just cancel the subscription afterwards if you want. It's a pretty sweet deal, I did it and I got my girlfriend to do it too after we used the first box. There's 149 meals to choose from, if you want my opinion the tandoori chicken and chicken gyros were the best out of the ones I tried.

I have a probability of having to move to Taunton for a job. I’m 23M currently living in London. I’ve read the past few threads about Taunton here and it doesn’t sound good. I visited Taunton today and it seemed quiet and literally nothing was open. Is living in Taunton really that bad? How are the people, how is living there. The job opportunity would be fantastic that’s why I’m considering moving there. I don’t have a license so moving too far from Taunton wouldn’t be an option. I do have a bike. What are the best parts ab Taunton? Please give me anything positive 🥲🥲

As it says in the heading I’m looking to rent a house in the Ilminster area. Our house in ilminster was flooded out last weekend and the bottom of our house totally destroyed. We are in a hotel atm and we will not be able to move back in our home for upto a year before it’s fixed and habitable. We can pay upfront and also have an old dog and two cats. Hoping I may get some help here - for my birthday I want to go for lunch with friends and their families, including small children. There are 16 of us in total. A couple of places have said they can’t do large groups and other not open for lunch on a Saturday. So looking for something in or near Taunton, that is family friendly and fairly casual. Does anyone have any recommendations of where might be suitable?
