Anyone know where to buy men’s hair fibres in Siem reap?
Are there any cafes or hostels with books you can trade in Siem Reap?
It’s pretty common in various places in Vietnam and Thailand. I was wondering if it’s a thing here.
Thanks!
Does anyone know where I can find a personal tour guide for angkor wat just want someone who has a bit of knowledge and take some pictures. Doesn’t need to be professional or anything
Hello,
I need to get a refill for alprazolam which I am legally prescribed in my home country. I went to a local clinic and they agreed to do a refill, but I also need a valid prescription to travel with, the doctor could only give me a paper receipt written in Khmer.
Is there a place I could go get a refill and also get a valid prescription suitable for international travel? I was suggested Ankgor Wat Hospital, but they have absurd prices. Anywhere else able to do this more affordably?
Planning Trip to Siem Reap in March.
Can I get a recommendation for hotels to stay at?
Less Noisy and Secure is what I am interested in.
Thanks in Advance.
Hello! I am looking for a tour guide for angkor but dont really understand if I will find one directly there or if it will be more expensive. Also is it better to have the guide for the small itinerary or big one?
Hey,
I’ll be visiting mid Feb just to sort some visa stuff. I work online so would love some cafe recommendations that are good to work from?
My first time in Cambodia so any other recommendations of what to do what be welcome. But I’ll mostly be working and just waiting for my visa approval.
TIA!
Hello, for apartments/villas in SR, I see one apartment on two rental agents' websites. One agent has it for 500 a month, the other 350. What's going on with that? Also, are these prices negotiable? I see some villas for a reasonable price. Others of the same quality for twice the amount. Seems like some rental agents have higher prices than others?
Anyone knows where to get Vans Shoes in Siem Reap? Help is much appreciated!
Planning on visiting Siem Reap / Angkor Wat next week, but I have read horror stories of how crowded it gets with Chinese tourists during Chinese New Year - but I have also read Chinese travelers haven’t really returned since the pandemic. What could I expect this year?
Coming next month for 5 days and already have dollars but need to know where’s the best place to get Riel from?
Are a must?
I am planning to be in Siem Reap for 3 days. So my plan is to take $300 usd with me, but will exchange it before hand. Do you $300 is enough for those days? Should I exchange the money here or in the country?
Hello, I’m coming with my family in February and I wanted to hire a private chef for 1 dinner who will cook at home, showing us a bit how he cooks and everything. Do you have recommandations?? Thanks
Any suggestions for exploring and restuarants in Cambodia for Valentines Day?
We are here in Siem for a week, been eating at locals restaurants but have found the dishes to be on the bland side without much character, although ingredients have been fresh and well- prepared.
Looking for recs for dishes we should order or places we should go to get an authentic Khmer food experience!
Thanks!
Hi there,
I am considering doing colour on my hair and was wondering if SR has any good options for women (white)?
I wonder if any of the expats can help?
I'm looking for bars like the old Pattaya bar in Siem Reap. I don't want to go where there's lots of Barang. I want to go and have a laugh with the locals. I'm not talking about places on Khmer Pub St either. Little bars hidden out the way, that only locals know about..
Would it be appropriate to bring small gifts of candy for my tour guides, lodging hosts, and drivers? If so what kind of American candy would be best received? Chat GPT sugguests Starburst, Carmel apple pops, and M&Ms. For context I am from the US and visiting Siem Reap in February.
Is there a hippie or grateful dead vibe lodging in siem reap . I thought I read about it somewhere . I am going and would like to stay with like minded people . Thanks i advance
Hi all! I'm going to Siem Reap for several days, and looking for a place to stay. I'm looking to be walking distance to all the attractions, but far enough away where there is no noise at night. Can walk 10-15 min no problem. Could you please recommend neighborhoods that fit this requirement? Thank you!
Posting here for more localized recommendations. Please advice
A day after spending at angkor wat, i have untill 6pm for my flight to Hanoi. In the morning, i would like to goto preah dak to try their palm cakes. (Nom akor tnout)
How is grab availability in preah dak for me to return bak to my hotel in siem reap? Or do you suggest taking a chartered tuktuk for to and fro?
Is there any most recommended spot to try this delicacy in preah dak village? Those who hv tried pls let me know the spot.
During my stay in siem reap i also want to try few interesting dishes like wild boar, crocodile, deer, etc. Where would you suggest i can get these?
Appreciate your responses!
Hope it's ok to post here. I searched the sub but didn't find this question asked.
What, roughly, cost of grab (car, no tuktutks) should I expect for a ride from the airport to the city centre mid-week at about 4-6pm?
Looking at photos from years previous, Pub Street seems a bit too crowded and raucous for me and my partner for NYE. Is there anything else a little bit more low key we can do in Siem Reap?
Would 3 days here be long enough?
