Hey guys, is there a washing saloon business in Sihanoukville where you can do your own laundry? My friend has some delicate pieces that she doesn't want to trust a business with... Thank you so much!
My wife and I are relocating from PP to Sihanookville next month. Looking for a apartment or small house 1-2 bedrooms max, $400/mo max. Must have kitchen with actual cabinets. Prefer clean, modern, western or european style. Not a fan of the shop houses with the weird middle room overlooking the ground floor.
You guys seen anything available where you are?
Hello, may I know how to delivery flowers to Sihanoukville? Is there any recommended flowershop? Thank you
i used to go there 2008-2016 but haven't been back in ages. what's it like now? i heard it sucked when the Chinese and casinos moved in so i didn't go back. would really like to know what it is like now.
Can anyone tell me the best hospital in Sanhoukville please? I am visiting in a few days and need to get a rabies vaccine.
Thanks

I’m 23f and I’m thinking visit here alone. Is that ok or safe? And I just wanna smoke and chill around beach, but I wonder if it’s still possible or easy to get some green around? And I saw a lot posts and news about how Chinese mafia is taking control of this beautiful place, and it’s dirty and dusty everywhere? Should I visit here?
Hi in trying to find info about sihanoukville .... my father retired and moved from canada to Cambodia and has happily lived there the last 15 years
He has passed through the evening and I know very little... I know he will be kept at his home for a couple days before he is brought to the crematorium
I'm trying to find a plane ASAP and fly there but it looks like earliest it will take me 2 days to fly from vancouver Canada with a layover in japan
I wont be able to make it in time for the cremation but still trying to fly over
My question- how is travel from Phnom phen to sihanoukville? Do I take a bus ? Rent a car? Taxi ? I dont know what to expect in Cambodia
If I arrive late in Phnom Penh can I still get transport to sihanoukville?
Any advise is appreciated thank you

I would give this place a 0/5 if I could. I regret not reading the reviews before coming here.
Awful experience no 1: We arrived to this hostel and my friend had specifically asked for a top bunk which was agreed. She left her stuff in the locker and we went to the beach. After coming back someone had left their stuff on the bed also, so we went to the reception and spoke with the owner, Andy, to ask what was going on. When my friend questioned why someone else was taking her bed, he just shrugged and said “not my problem”. Understandably, my friend continued to questions this and he ended up banging his hands on the table and very loudly said “for f**k sake!” And walked to our dorm room, to which he then sorted the issue .... what a nice welcome.
Awful experience no 2: Myself and my friends were chilling out in the dining area, where the bar and reception also was. We started to overhear an argument between a guest and the other manger, Liam, over the guests laundry which hadn’t come back. The guest was told it would be ready for 12pm, however the time was already 1:30pm and he’d missed his ferry due to waiting for his laundry. There was a lot of back and forth until finally I heard the guest say “my girlfriend told me you said it would be ready for 12” to which Liam(manager) replied “well, you shouldn’t have listed to your stupid f**king girlfriend then”. The guest understandably was incredibly upset by this and banged his hands on the reception table which also got the staff laptop and the guest stormed off to his friends. Liam (manager) then raised his laptop over his head in a threat to hit the guest with it, liam then walked around the table towards the guest and put him in a very tight headlock which resulted in the guest struggling to breathe. My friend, along with a few other people, ran to the guests help and were shouting at liam (manager) to let go!!! After what felt like forever, liam finally released his grip and the guest and his girlfriend grabbed their things and very quickly, walked away towards the ferry port. My friend then asked Liam what the hell he was playing at? To which he then told her to “get f**ked”. We all sat down after being a bit shaken up by the whole experience and then the owner, Andy, came over to ask what had just happened. Liam then told Andy “he broke the laptop”, Andy (a very mean and aggressive older man) then stormed after the guest and his girlfriend before they could get to the ferry. This left me and my friends feeling very uneasy as though something sinister was about to happen. We stayed sat down for about 15 minutes until Andy then returned with a wad of cash and put it on the reception table. Andy and Liam then started to laugh. Myself and my friend did NOT have a good feeling about this so we went looking for the guest and his girlfriend to see if they were ok. We got to a shop and bumped into a group who also saw what happened and they said the guest was in a building next door. My friend went to see if he was ok which he was not. Andy (owner) had unfortunately caught up with them and beaten the guest so badly and taken all his money. He had a split lip and was bleeding from his teeth and head. His girlfriend was in a compete state of shock, crying and shaking.
FINAL EXPERIENCE: We unfortunately had to stay the night. Around 9pm we saw Andy(owner) sprawled out on the pool table, completely drunk and high. They had to close the hostel bar early so they could take him home and to bed. A complete joke.
Myself and my friends had to leave this hostel a day early due to feeling incredibly unsafe there, surrounded by abusive and violent management. If you care about yourself and safety in any way, PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! It’s time this horrendous place is shut down.
