I mailed my professor two nights ago and told him that I couldn’t attend the exam bc I got the flu and he didn’t reply the midterm was yesterday so I sent another follow up mail. But he didn’t reply either he took the midterm so its not like he is on break. Why is he not replying to me? I am actually sick rn I can get a doctors note but he is ghosting me?

Hello guys, Im confused about whether I should choose bachelors in computer science or software engineering at seneca?
Hi! IM an international student who deposited on my account on the same day the two checks I earned on two separate months. One is dated September, the other one is October. Will I have problems in the IRCC with this? Im anxious since the transaction history on my online bank reflected only the word deposit and not the date those checks were given. Help!
Has anyone paid their tuition deposit for the Winter term? I’m a second year student and want to pay my deposit before the due date, but it says I have no outstanding charges. Last year it came up as an outstanding charge of $500 and I didn’t have to enter anything manually. I asked on the service hub and they told me to enter $200 manually, stating that the college has recently changed the amount due. Can anyone give me any insight? I’m really confused and don’t want to accidentally lose my spot in my program.
Hi everyone!
I'm considering enrolling in the International Freight Forwarding - CIFFA program, but I'd love to hear from anyone who's already taken it. How was your experience with the program? Did it help you find a job afterward?
Also, any insights into the quality of the coursework, instructors, or overall support in the program would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!
Heyyyy, anyone in cpp could you guys please share some of your cool professors and which course they teach.
Thankssssss
I'm an international student starting my bachelor’s degree at Seneca on January 6, 2025. I noticed a task on Seneca Home with sections to upload a study permit, letter of introduction, local address, and UCI number. I applied for my study visa just a week ago, so I haven’t received my study permit yet.
I have two questions:
Is there a deadline to upload these documents? I reached out to the service desk, and they mentioned there’s no specific deadline, but I’d like to confirm if there’s any timeline I should be aware of.
If my study permit is delayed, can I join classes after January 6? For example, if it arrives by January 10 or 12, would it still be okay to attend classes a bit later?
Hello a friend of mine who is an immigrant (Spanish) speaks good English and has worked retail for a few years is looking for advice on the business analytics course from Seneca: https://www.senecapolytechnic.ca/programs/fulltime/BAN/pathways.html#menu
She dosent have a purpose to join other than it seems like a good starting point. But from my research a lot of people are saying to avoid this course, don’t waste your money, if you’re going this avenue it should be more specialized?
As also from my experience it seems a course like this you can just lie on your resume/profile as it dosent teach u anything you can’t pretend you did or have to prove anything to get said job. At a higher level you will be you need to get specialized which is hard starting point.
Any advice, thoughts or suggestions on the situation would be greatly appreciated cuz I know nothing about this course and its potential outcome given her situation.
Thank you
Anyone know if there a piano open for use on campus?
I would like to practice in between classes

Hi, I’m currently enrolled in CPA i’m in my first semester. Honestly struggling with the studies and slowly realizing I am definitely not a tech guy. I don’t know which program to change to, any suggestions?
I’m hospitable, Love talking with people and just a very easy going person over all. I wanna make use of my extroverted side of me to my advantage.
I heard marketing could be a good choice for me but is it even worth it nowadays?
If I go ahead with a dnc for my current semester just cuz the professor is unbearable, can I choose a different professor when I'm giving the course again next semester or will I be stuck with the same professor?
any updates if anything has happened? i haven’t gotten any new emails or info
Does anyone know when is the 2nd sem enrollment?
Hello! I recently applied to the law clerk (hybrid) program at Seneca, and I had a few questions about it, which I'm dying to ask. So if you're a current or former student who is or was in this program, I would greatly appreciate your response.
And finally,
Thank you so much, and have a great rest of your day!
Hi if you know someone who left/dropped their airpods during the ceremony, I have your airpods, please send me a message.
to anyone that applied for the Tuition Assistance Bursary, have you heard anything or do you know when we are supposed to hear anything about it? I was told that status would change on my application mid-late october but it has yet to change, and getting answers is almost impossible
I am quiet confused in my selected course: BHS(behavioural sciences) like about its scope in the future, workfield and jobs. Has anyone studied and working in this field. Please reply.
Did anyone here recently attend the convocation? How strict are they with the number of guests?
Hello,
I’m a student in Quebec and I’m currently finishing my secondary 5 (equivalent to grade 11 in Ontario). My dream is to become a pilot and study at Seneca Polytechnic.
I was wondering if I was eligible for the Honours Bachelor of Aviation Technology, because I will be attending CEGEP next year, and the curriculum is different from grade 12 in Ontario.
If I am eligible, would I have to complete my CEGEP 2 (second year of CEGEP) to obtain the prerequisites required for the program or would CEGEP 1 be enough to qualify me?
So, just like wht the title says, I don't understand why students who recently just graduated highschool need to take english courses when they already took that in HS? I took ENG4U and ENG3U and passed but I'm still required to take com101 which is crazzzzy.
Also the contents in this course isn't even in anyway related to my program aside from just doing research that adds little to no benefit for me.
for those wondering about this course, avoid at all costs!!! very thick workload and a big and stupid term project. you will spend more time on this course than ur actual program courses i wish i dropped it im actually in tears. my prof was kristian wiehs, lowkey tough grader, there are no lectures just two happiness novels that you need to pay for but it is available for free on libtexts, and then like four journal projects that are HEFTYYYYYY and discussion boards honestly smh never take this course
Hi I’m set to graduate in 2 days and I have more than 3 guests coming as I have a big family that really want to see me walk. Are tickets going to be checked at the door and will they be turned away ? If not how do I get them in to the ceremony
