We are two students from Denmark who investigate the consumer perception of plant-based meat and genetically modified organisms (GMOs). If you have a few minutes, please take our survey. Your opinion matters, and we would be grateful :)

Hello, we are a group of psychology researchers from the University of Kent, UK. It would be a huge help if any vegans interested would fill out our quick survey (18+ only) about your personal views surrounding your dietary lifestyle choices.

The survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete, and we're happy to answer any queries or questions you may have.
Thanks for your time.
Edit: The survey is now closed! Thanks very much for your time, we'll be sure to post any results here when they're ready!
Does anyone know any other San Antonio vegan communities on here or on any other site? I got reddit specifically for connecting to (hopefully) other vegans because I don't know anyone who is. I'm not from SA but there doesn't seem to be too many here.
Hello all! It's my birthday weekend and I'm trying to decide what place I want to have dinner that will have a lot, if not all, vegan/vegetarian options. Any suggestions?
Come on down!
Looking for others who would like to participate in some advocacy and outreach! Looking to target various college campuses other places of interest around lunch time. Please PM me for more info/details.
I noticed that the Olmo's Bharmacy is advertising a new veggie menu. I went and checked it out, but it mostly appears to be portabello burgers. Still a step in the right direction though.
Lately I've had a lot of luck getting vegan and vegetarian products I want at my local HEB by filling out the product request forms at the register. It's pretty simple really. All you have to do is request one of the forms when you're checking out, fill it out, and hand it back to the cashier. It only takes a second and they will start carrying the item you requested in a month or two. If anyone has any specific requests at any specific HEBs, let me know and I'll be happy to head over there to fill one out also. They are probably more likely to respond if they get more requests.
Work party is at Paloma Blanca today. Does anyone know about their beans/rice and such? I will ask them when I get there, but it'd be nice to know ahead of time! I'm sure we've all experienced the "is there lard in the beans?" fiasco..
I decided to make this subreddit when I was making the Veg-Friendly Guide for /r/SanAntonioFood. I added some links to the sidebar and put the veg guide in the wiki. Let me know what you think and if there is anything you think should be added.
Personally, I'd like to start reviewing some of the local vegetarian restaurants and reaching out to other local restaurants to see if they would be willing to add veggie options. Feel free to suggest any restaurants you'd like reviewed.
Thanks for reading.
