Trying to figure out which low-budget sound library to purchase for game-audio

I'm going to be working on a game and I need to decide on which library to purchase soon, and it needs to be not too expensive (like not much more than 500$). I'm just doing sfx, not doing music, and the game should have an audio style that is cartoony / retro but with a bit of realism mixed in, not too cartoony.

So I'm thinking about getting the Core 5 Creator Bundle (the basic core 5 bundle) but I really want to be absolutely sure that this is going to have enough for me. The SFX list of 6,500 files with a total of 26,000 sounds seems impressive. 180 of those files are ambient music tho, which I don't need.

So yeah if anybody has used the core 5 creator bundle I would really appreciate your feedback. If anybody has a better suggestion for sound libraries just let me know.

Need help with trying to find a name for this style of 1950's SFX to search libraries.

This is an 11 second sound clip of a generic "eerie" scifi sound effect that has MANY variants and I am trying to find a name in order to browse similar SFX that I can actually use either in free libraries or paid ones. The sound in question begins at the 3sec mark. https://whyp.it/tracks/171538/scifi-spooky-soud?token=4Qnna

Where do you buy your SFX libraries?

I have a decent SFX library with all the big classic manufacturers, but I also often buy small/specific SFX libraries on ASoundEffect.com when a particular project I'm working on needs something special.

Do you guys know of other similar websites where you can buy independent sound effect libraries? Or even a platform where field recorders sell their recordings to be used commercially?

I like A Sound Effect, but I'm curious to see what alternatives exist, to support independent artists, and to obtain even more unique and interesting sound recordings.

    Thanks

Realistic punch and gun sfx for cheap or free?

Anyone have or know where to get realistic punch sounds. Not those corny slappy punches in some movies, a good realistic punch sound. Looking for anything free to a reasonable price
