The energy they both bring defensively is contagious. Plus they are always hustling on offense / cutting off ball, getting ORBs and putbacks. Someone’s gotta have a name for them being on the court at the same time lol. Any ideas?
After seeing Alp getting his groove back, we are all Vanessaaaa
Looking to take my family of 4 to the game Wednesday!! Anyone selling tickets or even have some they can’t make it to and want to give away my kids are finally excited for basketball and this will be our first game as a family

Injury is left shoulder strain.
Steven Adams is also questionable. If he doesn’t play, how would you like to see Houston address the backup center minutes?
Uncle Jeff Green reprising his role from last season?
Start Tari in place of Jabari and have Bari come off the bench playing the 5 whenever Alpi is resting?
Amen Thompson??
Real simple, I have two “free” tickets for tonight’s game section 425 if anyone is interested.
Fairly on par with his college numbers. I say he deserves a shot tonight before we give all of Fred’s minutes to Amen and co.
Tari
Amen
Source: BBall reference
Both young teams with a mix of veterans.
Inconsistent start for both teams.
Led by a coach that has the team playing good defense but team’s not good enough offensively.
Both teams have long stretches were they don’t score. Have lost games were they could have easily won.
Inconsistent start from star players ( Stroud, Dell, Green, Sengun)
Both have a record of 6-4
I dont know where people get the advanced stats but can someone tell me please what is Jalens 3pt% where he is wide open and assisted vs when he dribbles and pulls up. I feel like he shots great when it is contested and it "looks cooler" and when he is fully open it is always a miss.
I want to buy a reed sheppard rookie city jersey (should they make a reed version available), but idk if the rocketsshop.com ships internationally. I live in Australia btw.
Anyone know? And if not, would anyone be willing to order to your place and then ship it to me (preferably if you want to also buy something, so I’ll pay for both shipping and you get free shipping on a jersey or whatever you want to buy and I’ll not have to shop off eBay at a large markup).
Cheers for any info/tips/suggestions.
Have a good day
I've been watching or following the nba for quite a while now but haven't really decided a team to support and recently I have been watching the rockets and they seem like a fun young team so from now on I am going to support the rockets!
Love from Indonesia
Can’t help but feel disappointed with this season thus far considering the talent and optimism going into the year.
What’s most glaring is the lack of offensive creativity and the sheer dependence on Fred for a second straight season. Ime for whatever reason, refuses to play Jabari as the backup 5 and instead runs Jock Landale who has been awful off the bench.
The young core isn’t progressing as they should due Ime’s stubbornness on offense. He doesn’t hold Fred to the same “accountability” standards that he does the young guys. Fred has been terrible this year and nearly costed the game tonight with the continued bone headed shot diet at ill advised times.
Hard to really but the blame on this lackluster season on anybody but Ime and Fred. It’s hard to breakdown Jalen’s inconsistent season, Jabari’s poor play and Alpi’s slow start when the coach and vet point guard have been so bad in setting them up for success. The defense is great but this is an offense driven league and we have one of the worst minds on that end in charge.
Venting here…
There are two teams above .500
Cleveland and Boston
That’s it
Their 3rd seed would be 12th in the West
The West has been stronger than the East for so long now that it’s fair to assume it won’t just work itself out
Something needs to be done to realign the league
Also why is it taking so long to get the Sonics and Vegas expansion teams? Seems like we have been talking about it for years now…
Section 113. Row 20. Ended up with a spare. Willing to take any reasonable offer. Just need to meet me at stadium and we can head in together to avoid the online transfers (unless that’s what you prefer).
Figured I would do a poll every ten games to get some consensus in the sub.
What has been the most surprising about the Rockets through 10 games for you?
Guys. We gotta relax. Bari vs tari starting really doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of the game. Tell me. What does starting Tari bring to the table? When he’s already being subbed in early, playing long minutes and closing the game. That’s what matters. It also isn’t like he’s leagues above Bari, Bari is still producing on the defensive end. Starting Tari would just destroy Bari’s confidence, and the net result on the floor would be marginal.
What matters is when the coach pulls the star player who had the hot hand for a good chunk of a quarter and leaves jock in there who was struggling to say the least. Ime let them get back into the game! He let FVV keep chucking ridiculous shots over and over. He doesn’t have to bench FVV as he’s still our best pg, but at least yell at him and tell him to take smart shots! Not chuck a deep contested 3 with 8 seconds left in the shot clock when we’re trying to use up time.
There’s a constant theme here. Ime puts together some horrible lineup, leaves them in there while the other team makes a comeback. He doesn’t call smart time outs to dampen their momentum. I feel like I’m watching street ball. There’s no plays, minimal ball movement, minimal coaching. The only reason we’ve been winning is bc of how talented our young guys are.
Watching the Pistons broadcast, looks like they really go into it and a lot of words were said when Landale was benched. Anyone have a clip?
Can anyone give a solid reason why hot hands sengun not playing 35+ min tonight?
