I'm somewhat new in the game, I tried searching on google and found nothing.

Just finished Acts 5 and 6 and I gotta say that I'm sure they knew that it was the final chapter for the game. Especially the last cutscene. But the potential for the game still looked promising. I really wish they would come back to it, but they've moved on and it really just left the new characters lacking in cosmetics. All in all tho, the game has a ton of replayabilty for fans especially if you get friends to play with and run different decks and different characters. Plus with the small jumpstart the games been getting recently I think it's safe to say that it's definitely a niche kinda game but the community is still there.

Hey I’m looking for people to help me get all the No Hope Achievements, I’m a solid player and feel like my builds are definitely good enough but I just don’t have to skill to do a lot of the finales solo and randoms are dumb as rocks lol. So far I’ve done half of Act 1 and that’s it, started on my No Hope journey semi recently.

I personally believe nothing would change. I also believe there would be a lot of toxicity with what cleaners people pick, which to be fair some of the cleaner stats were and still are bad, like chadanglo

As we all know the balance was awful at launch and took a long time to fix and by the time things were fixed it was already too late.

The strategies at the time were to speedrun or abuse the grenade glitch, and remember there's no kick system. * It's been ages since I've played swarm I can't remember if there's a kick option in that mode*

Do you think the game would be more active?

I recently got B4B on steam and I'm playing with a few friends, we're almost finished farming cards and building decks while going through nightmare, currently failing Act 3-5.
We have no coordination though, just building whatever deck we want and jumping in.

We're having a lot of trouble against unlimited horde events on nightmare, do we absolutely need a melee or coordinate party comp to move through them? Just gunning them isn't working for us, if it's just a issue of getting good we can work on that but it seems impossible right now...

Also why is Combat Knife considered bad? From what I'm testing it boosts my bash damage enough to kill commons and even hurt mutations by quite a lot with very few melee cards. Since my issue is infinite horde I'm trying to set up a deck to gun down mutations and melee hordes when they're close, it's looking like this:

I'm using Doc to get 50% Trauma Resist and from the little Act 1 nightmare testing I did, I was able to clear hordes and sustain myself okay-ish while still doing some decent gun damage. I tried a full melee build and it did work wonders but I think it's more fun to shoot zombies so I really want a gun-centric deck...

Any comments or tips on cards, decks and how to beat nightmare?

Hey everyone! I recently started playing Back 4 Blood, and I’m seriously having a blast with it! I’m a streamer and thought it’d be fun to try for all the achievements on-stream – but running solo isn’t quite the same as a full squad.

I’m still figuring out the Deck Building system, but I’m open to any tips you might have. Mainly, I’m just looking for some chill folks who’d be down to team up, chat, and take on the game together.

Is there a certain time of day I should try queuing or are public games pretty much dead?

Does it even do anything? I've bought it a few times mid campaign and noticed it do precisely nothing of note even at max stacks.

Even if it did do something surely Heavy Hitter is just better.

Took a break for about a year or so and looking to come back and go up to nightmare difficulty. Any recommendations will be considered!

I like how you can take control of bots when you die 

I like how you can carry multiple grenades or any type of throwable

I like the complexity of the game and the game feels like it has more weight unlike left 4 dead where it basically felt like you were shooting zombies on ice skates 

Gun sounds sound pretty impactful (I guess)

The cleaner comebacks when friendly firing are kinda funny

The gameplay is actually super fun so I can’t actually call this a bad game

The Dialogue whenever the characters try to be funny is 75% of the time super bad and cringy as fuck, the dialogue whenever the characters are actually being serious is decent. I could have written a better story and better characters for this game. I'm being dead serious when I make that statement. The music is generic unexciting and has no identity and the thing is generic sounding music can still sound good i’ve heard stuff like that before but it was NOT done well in back 4 blood and I know the composer could have did better than whatever the fuck this disgrace of an OST is smh The gunplay feels so off, play games like wolfenstein, battlefield, call of duty, doom, titanfall 2, destiny 2, farcry etc and then come back to play back 4 blood. The shit will feel like absolute shit, I don’t know what they did but this game just does not control well even with the best controller settings its just not great at all. The movement is also pretty bland, sure you can climb stuff which you couldn’t do in left 4 dead, but dawg let me dodge and weave or slide or do SOMETHING ELSE. Game is too slow paced. Ridden jog at most, they don’t sprint toward you like in L4D and they DEFINITELY aren’t as relentless as the L4D zombies. The graphics are good but the explosions look mid at best and when you compare this games visuals to other unreal engine games you’ll see just how subpar this game looks and I feel like the bland locations are to blame. Your graphics can be good but if you have bland locations the graphics won’t be done justice.

The locations are bland it sucks that it takes 4 whole acts for the locations to actually get good

The HUD design is bland as fuck and just like the music, it has no identity whatsoever. No style, no uniqueness, just a regular old UI.

Trauma damage is annoying as fuck and as for other mechanics? The game has mechanics that undermine other mechanics its like the devs threw everything in without even thinking of how it’d affect the gameplay. There really should have been a L4D classic style mode man smh.

No exciting set pieces or hype moments. Where are the cool set pieces like L4D had? The crashing planes, the exploding bridges, military bombings, a rock concert finale, come the fuck on.

The tone of the game is all over the place, it doesn’t know whether it wants to be marvel or be a serbian film. It tries to be this war story about fighting and rebuilding society but half life 2 literally does this story better lmao

Physics suck. This is a 2021 game what the actual fuck.

Attention to detail is non existant.

Just wanna know if the game is worth playing now after its rough start? Mainly asking because I see the steam sale and the recent reviews are "Mostly Positive"
