Hey, I'm posting on behalf of my parents. Currently staying at a motel, I've got two younger brothers (8yrs and 5yrs), trying to make the most of the current situation. My dad is struggling with finding work, we just recently lost our house a few weeks ago and have been surfing to and from hotels. In contact with the pastor of our church whose doing all he can to support us as well, but it's rough out here! We don't have a lot for dinner, I've never used this subreddit before but I've been following it for a while, not an active reddit user by much but I'm really hoping that someone will read this and help us out for even a night here, we're not picky people! Unemployed since Dec 2023, haven’t had a proper meal recently, my unemployment pay is only covering rent and I’ve blown my savings on bills over the past 4 months. It’s been a long week of phone screenings and interviews, it’s hard to keep pushing when I’m so hungry. Fridays are always hard, another week with no job. And check engine light is now on in my vehicle. Some days are better than others but I’ve grown extremely depressed and find it hard to even keep up with myself day to day. I’m hoping to have something soon. Little Caesars, Dominos, Pizza Hut all OK.

This isn’t my usual go-to solution; however, I am trying to be money conscious (like I have any money to ration anyway) so as to afford my bills for the end of the month.

I live with five roommates, and we are damn near out of groceries, and I really don’t want to eat just white rice again lol.

The ‘za would be for me, not my roommates, of course. It’ll be my first decent meal in two days, so I really appreciate it. Again, this is a first for me, so I apologize if I’m not the most efficient responder.

Have had to make 2 different 999 calls for two different people in less than a week. My sibling had a manic episode of which the details I'd rather not go into. Been supporting him while he's been unwell. Family drama, late on bills and pay day is still a few days away. Saving what little I have to make sure I can afford commute fare.

Just had a really hard few days and feeling really overwhelmed and a fair bit of negativity towards my loved ones is starting to creep in. Could use a little positivity to keep that at bay.

Essentially my lovely illicit pharmacy enthusiast neighbors inexplicably started messing with my water main while I was out of town. As a result my water heater ended up constantly dumping out basically boiling hot water onto the grass for days on end, and destroyed my water heater in the process. These lovely people managed to break into my shed and, for whatever reason, stole the hose to my washing machine that left the shed and connected to a pipe outside my home managing to break that in the process.

I'm broke, exhausted, and needed a place to vent after that and would appreciate a pie lmao

After my ranty post about things going backward in life for me right now, someone kindly suggested I post here to see if anyone would be willing to help my family have some pizza and give this exhausted mom a break.

You can see my post history for more details, but the TLDR is that I used my electric bill money to replace my front tires and car battery so we could drive my daughter an hour away for mental health inpatient. Everything is sideways and I am just so depleted.

Hello y'all. Like my title says, I'm low on funds until payday this week. If someone is able to help with a medium or large pizza so I can have dinner tonight and leftovers for tomorrow, it would be greatly appreciated. I am located in Mesa,AZ and the closest chains to me are dominoes ans little caeser's.

Having a terrible migraine today and fridge and pantry are almost completely empty. Had a bit of a tough time lately and couldn’t get any groceries for a few days now. No big deal, had enough in the fridge and pantry and tomorrow I get my salary. I just reached the point where everything I have left requires some effort and there is nothing quick or easy to make left. Just got confirmation I've passed my training to be a certified dog trainer! This will mean guaranteed full time hours, plus commission. This is a really big deal for me as I'm always broke.

Wanting to wish everyone a wonderful weekend, and also request some pizza for dinner tonight, if possible. We have all the pizza places near us, and we love dominoes, if that helps.

Hey y’all, my wife and I are running really tight on funds this week and are pretty darn hungry. We are planning to visit the food pantry when it opens on Tuesday. It’s been a pretty emotional weekend between tough family news that came in yesterday morning, realizing this week is a lot tighter than it was, and just general mental health struggles (my wife was just able to get a refill on her antidepressants after being out for 3 weeks or so).
