Good day everyone. I am an international student studying medicine in the EU(Romania) I am going into my third year of studies this fall (6 year degree) and would like to ask for helps as i am having serious difficulties at the moment .My university is called Titu maiorescu and my hope is to write the USMLE and PLAB(US and UK medical licensing exam )in a few years as I want to practise in one of those countries. 3. Phone and WiFi bill: Right now I use the public WiFi available at the public libraries or parks I study in and have had the service on my phone cut off because of 2 months bill due which is still accuring, as well I can't afford basic call credit options so the phone aside public areas is basically useless and for someone who needs to constantly study and revise school work it is a serious handicap right now.

4. I currently stay in a shared apartment(35sqm3) with a colleague the agreement was to split the utility costs (gas heating eletric etc) evenly per month but as a result of the situation I have had to borrow in advance from him and have no means right now to pay him back at all for that.

5 i have a six year old faulty asus laptop which is faulty several of the keyboard keys on it aren't no longer working and it constantly keeps heating and shutting off. I was told I need to change the keyboard and buy a new fan for the laptop. I posted on r/assistance and other assistance subreddits and haven't gotten any help or luck yet. Is this the right place to seek advice on elder preparedness?

My mother holds a special place in my heart; she's incredibly compassionate and has always been a giver, despite some experiences where her kindness was taken advantage of. Unfortunately, she's had a history of falls and auto accidents. Just last week, she fell and broke her teeth, and today, while driving to the food bank, she was side-swiped by another vehicle. Thankfully, she's physically okay. This is just the tip of the iceberg.

It's crucial to note that my mother is mentally sharp; her cognitive faculties are intact. However, her balance and orientation seem to be off. We've had an appointment scheduled for a few weeks now, and hopefully, we'll gain more insight into her health then.

As it stands, I'm at a loss. I don't know what steps to take. While she's generally healthy, I can't shake the worry. I don't want her to be cooped up at home all week. I live an hour away in my own small home with my wife and son. I'd love for her to come live with us, but she's not ready. She's very aware of her situation.

I've fallen into a horrible situation that I hate being in. Functionally unemployed (4-8hr/week), EI being a far cry from enough, and income support being 0 thanks to EI. This is the first time I'm doing this so please bear with me. Im(21f) in a situation and unemployed. I live about an hour and a half out of town, so it's extremely difficult to find a job. I live with my future FIL but he will only provide food(which is completely reasonable where we live). I did a seasonal job last year and made enough to be able to budget for things like shampoo and hygiene things, however while my fiance and I were away for a while to visit his grandparents, the last of our money was stolen(we kept in $ form as its easier to not spend when you have to convert the currency) by one of the ladies that my future FIL hired to clean the house when we were not here. We are waiting to see if we can get work visas for the USA but we don't have work right now. Anything that you might be able to donate would be a massive help. Was living eith my sister in her apartment after moving into the area. She lost the apartment and I ended up stuck on the street. I live with my elderly parents, sister, and partner in a small house in the middle of nowhere.

We are all very low income, my partner has no income at the moment, we're in the bottom 1% of the country, and even living all together we barely make it work. My mother and I are the only ones with drivers licenses. None of us can get a car loan.

Our only mode of transport is our car, there is no public transport coming out here, we're completely dependent on it for doctors appointments, groceries, work... We just had it at the mechanic and it needs new shocks, new tires, new breakpads, and have a few things welded or replaced on the body.

It'll cost us 1000 usd, that we can't afford, but we also can't afford to buy another used car. Financial Assistance for Medical

I've never done anything like this before, but here we go. My name is David. I love with my mom here in Indiana and recently we have been helping my 72 year old aunt with her medical issues. She was diagnosed and is currently battling various cancers and COPD. Monday- Friday each week we are tasked with driving her roughly 45 minutes away (one way) for both Radiation and Chemotherapy treatments. She is also pratically living with us for the time being. I recently lost my apt because my lease ended and I got laid off from my job. I just started school back at UMGC after 10 years and my financial aid is on hold because of my high school transcripts which I have already sent. I have no money, no shelter and no food. Luckily I was able to find a friend to foster my pup until I can get my head back above water. I'm just trying to stay positive.

I started my own pool company last year but business was slow and i took a loss. The season hasn't really started yet this year.

I haven't pursued a degree; instead, I've learned everything from my husband. Unfortunately, due to an accident, he's unable to work with his hands and needs assistance. Everything was fine before, but for the past 2-3 years, we've been facing these difficulties. Family support has ceased, and friends and relatives may also be tired by now, rendering them unable to help. My aunt, who always supported us, is also in great distress (her story is perhaps even more heart-wrenching than mine). Going to work with two children is difficult; they are still young.

Current Need: At present, I can manage only to pay the rent for my home and computer. I'm working on a tip-based job, and things have been tough due to not being able to work for a few months.

I'm at a government hospital with my aunt right now. We've come to a new city from the village to avail of treatment at a government hospital since there weren't enough facilities in the village.

For now, I don't have any food concerns for myself and my children. I get milk from the hospital, and my Ramadan fast helps to save some food for a time. Some of the aunties in the hospital neighborhood help with fasting (Sehri) and breaking fast (Iftar) meals.

First off we have Dissociative Identity Disorder, which most people know by it's old name, multiple personalities, so our pronouns can be confusing, but you can just read "We" as "I". Talking as though we are a single person feels ingenuine and this is definitely not the place to be pretending we're something were not. This is our first time visiting here, so if we're doing something wrong, please let us know. Our whole life we've been struggling, going in and out of homeless shelters and have lost 17 jobs. A year ago our DID got really bad to the point that we were blacking out and going into fugue states and having regular breakdowns and basically couldn't take care of ourselves any more, let alone work. For three months our job's insurance paid us but after that we were disqualified, we reapplied and got denied and appealed twice, but it's a dead end. We're going through lawyers to get social security like we should have gotten when we turned 18 instead of having to fend for ourselves this whole time (we're 36). We've been able to survive until now through our community because we're a small twitch streamer, but the few in our community who had enough money to help have stopped helping, which we don't blame them, it's amazing that they've helped us this long. We have cut all expenses we can to the point that we can survive on $1000 a month, but we're out of resources. This is it. We need help to survive or we're going to end up in a homeless shelter again, and believe me, if we end up in a homeless shelter in the state we're in right now, I don't think we'll ever be able to get ourselves out again. Stress makes our symptoms worse and the most stressful times in our entire life were when we were homeless so we'll just spiral and that'll be it. We've gotten help from local resources, but we seem to have gotten all the help we can. The last place that united way tells us about is salvation army, but we've gone four separate times and they've never gotten back to us, so we can't count on help from them.

What we need is literally any amount you can give, even if it's a dollar. $1000 would keep the house and pay the bills (probably). The only issue there is that the water bill is at over 300 so there's a chance it gets cut off any day now, so 1300 would even let us keep the water on.

We are actually in a rare spot where we actually have evidence that we've been going through this going back two and a half years on twitch and discord. My rent is too much to ask for and already behind on that. I was supposed to give my landlord $1k (partial payment) today but wouldn’t expect anyone to give that. I was also supposed to give him my plan for moving out if I didn't have a plan for repaying him. If I had a couple (2-3 months) I could get a fairly well job paying as an engineer. However as things stand now I barely have time to job hunt when I'm dealing with all this other shit. We need a place to stay in a city with public transportation in Florida. Preferably Volusia County(Central Florida)because we have job opportunities and family in that area. We (my husband and I) are not picky and can find work any where as long we can stay for more then a few days. We left a dangerous household with an abusive narcissist.
