I always wanted to play the original game but since this remake came out I prefer to play this one. The reviews say its stunning, no kidding it looks fantastic, the scenery look amazing, almost like the original.

The voice acting is a lot better then the original, James hears like a real depressed guy and Maria voice sounds just like the original, and I heard that these games are terrifying and I love horror games, and I want to have the opportunity to play this amazing game.

And I love the soundtrack of the orginal game, I heard it, even tho I didnt play the game but its really one of the best soundtracks ever.

And they say that the combat is the best and the game is more scarier and harder than the original game from 2002. I also want to play this game because everyone keeps saying that its a masterpiece and I love playing games that are masterpieces, and I play a lot of great game.

And its also a single player wich I mostly, so I wish I could have the chance to play this amazing game and enjoy it. Would love to play it and see why this game is always considered a masterpiece.

What is [Katana ZERO]?

Katana Zero is a 2019 platform gamecreated by the indie developer Justin Stander. Set in a dystopian metropolis, the neo-noir storyline follows Subject Zero, a katana-wielding assassin with amnesia who can slow down time and predict the future. I'm a huge fan of neo-noir style games which made me like the concept of this game.

Why I wanna play it?

I have always been a fan of video games, ever since I was a kid playing games on my ps2 (good times), and my love for them never died out. As I grew up I got access to the internet which allowed me to browse different kinds of media, which in the end let me to discover that there are a bunch of games out there, waiting to be played. Katana Zero was a game that I first heard about through a random video on youtube, the video had a scene where this (https://youtu.be/cKJA-D3ltPM) soothing song was playing. I loved the melody as soon as I heard it and decided to do some research for where the song came from, I found out it came from a indie game under the name "Katana Zero". At first I was just a fan of the song but immediately afterwards I saw some gameplay footage of the game, and I was immediately hooked. It was a platform/hack n slash game with an adult setting revolving around a character who is more powerful than your avarage person. The game most reminded me of the Hotline Miami franchise, they were both 2d pixel art games, both involved incredible amounts of blood/gore and violence while being packed to the gut with thrilling action. Soon after I found out that both games were published by the same publisher, "Devolver Digital" which are known for publishing amazing games, and that earned my trust that the game "Katana Zero" is good, without even playing it, but I wanted to experience it by myself.

Hello friends, this is my 7th attempt, I hope I'm successful this time. I've been wanting to play Helldivers 2 for some time now but I've been unable to acquire it due to the removal of localized pricing in my country (Turkey). It's far more expensive than an average game due to the removal of localized pricing in Sony titles and Steam changing the currency in Turkey to USD, most games have given up on localizing the prices. I have never been this much for a game and due to the economical crisis in my country, I can't afford to pay such money for a single game. The reason I'm interested in Helldivers 2 is that I've been getting more into sci-fi content, was watching Star Wars lately and it made me more interested in the game. Apperantly they made a Star Wars mod for this game too. It reminds me a lot of the Clone Wars show, some planets in the game also remind me of Felucia and Umbara also from Star Wars. I also like the concept of being a random soldier than a main character in most games I play for some reason, haven't found much games with a similiar concept other than Battlefront 2, plus now that I'm a bit more busy nowadays due to school online-multiplayer games are far more easy for me to get into than story-driven singleplayer titles. Also appearantly this is the first time the game has gone into sale since it's release, which is why I thought it'd be a good time to ask for it now. Howdy everyone. Really cool subreddit here, so I figured, might as well try asking...

I was gonna humbly ask if I might be able to get the Chronicles: Battle for Greece expansion pack for the Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition remake. I've been playing and enjoying AoE2 a lot the past two-and-a-half years now - and would really appreciate getting the new expansion pack for it, since stuff like this just unfortunately isn't really in the budget for me right now.

Chronicles: Battle for Greece is a content pack for the 'Definitive Edition' Age of Empires 2 re-release real-time strategy game, it adds a new Ancient Mediterrean civilisations, new units, new maps, a new campaign - stuff like that.

It's about $17 Australian, or I suppose, the equivalent in other currencies elsewhere like around ~$13 USD - and for about one more day, it's also fifteen percent discoutned. And I'm pretty sure a lot of countries and still gift to and from Australia on Steam, so I think that should be all good.

Always enjoyed this series, and I think it's really cool that it's still around and going strong and getting more expansions. I think a lot of people who played it growing up will definitely share that sentiment too, it's a classic for a reason. And it's always really rad to see great, fun, games get new content after release.

Like I said, I've been playing AoE2 a fair bit recently so I'd definitely appreciate it and enjoy it, but don't really have the $18 Australian spare to spend at the moment, so I figured I'd ask. And if you play Age of Empires DE 2 too, and you wanna hit me up for a multiplayer match sometime, that sounds really cool too.

I wanted to request the game since I heard that there are kind people on reddit who gift us who are unable to buy the games. So I read the rules of the sub and worked to meet the requirements as much as I could ...and finally I met them all TODAY!! (I even had to buy a game to make my steam account level 2 lol...good thing it was very affordable- Undertale).

Why I want this Game:

I really wanted to buy this game since it follows the journey of Sun Wukong, the inspiration for characters like Son Goku and Monkey D Luffy; and the protagonist/ antagonist of the Chinese epic Journey to the West. Some of my fondest childhood memories have been the Monkey King movies since he was just so badass (I used to draw him lol, he achieved immortality so many times!). Anyway, I don't want to make this into a rant so I'll stop talking about howuch I love the original material from where the plot was taken. The gameplay is also heavily skill based, apparently on par with souls games...which are my favorite genre next to turn based Jrpgs (weird preference I know). It just is everything I could want in a game.

Why I was unable to buy it:

I really wanted to buy this game myself (I didn't even know about this sub's existence untill someone else told me about this), but since I'm a college student from a third world country (India), game prices are too much for our average income. BM: Wukong costs 4600 rs, which is more than the money I spend in TWO MONTHS (it's around 4500 at max). I have been saving up for more than a year and have now bought a decent laptop that can run these games, but that took all my savings.s Snce money is a tough situation, I usually play the games I already had bought from before or from my friend's steam account (he lets me use it to play elden ring).

This is my Second attempt at trying to get lossless scaling!

What is Lossless Scaling (LS)? Lossless Scaling improves FPS. And I’m not talking about a small boost like 10 FPS—I'm talking about a jump of up to 120 FPS! (this will depend on you hardware).

But how does it work? LS uses frame generation to improve framerate. Frame generation is a technology that increases a game's framerate by inserting AI-generated frames between existing ones. This reduces screen tearing, stuttering, and improves visual smoothness.

Essentially, it's like NVIDIA DLSS on steroids. But whats the difference between the frame generations?

2x Frame Gen: Generates 2 frames for every real frame. No noticeable input delay or screen artifacts. However, the FPS boost is not much.

3x Frame Gen: Generates 3 AI frames per real frame. A balanced option provides a significant FPS boost with only slight artifacting and input delay.

4x Frame Gen: Generates 4 frames! This gives the highest FPS boost (up to 10x), but with severe input delay—think playing online games at 900ms ping.

Why Do I Want LS? I play a lot of GPU-heavy games on my laptop, which leads to high temps and worsens my FPS drastically. Most of my games barely run at 50 FPS on low settings. Add anti-tampers like Denuvo, and my games become almost unplayable. ( I can run games on the 48 fps for it to start working )

Why Not Just Lower My Resolution? I’ve already done that, but my FPS still doesn’t improve.

Why Not Use Texture Mods? Unfortunately, most of my games are online, and using mods could get me banned or trigger anti-tamper systems.

(Fun fact: Sometimes my laptop gets so hot i can cook breakfast on it :P )

Why cant i buy it myself? The country i live in has a weak currency and the price of lossless scaling i could buy a weeks worth of groceries ( depending on where you shop ).

Hey again GoG, this'll be my 7th time requesting Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. I get that €70 is definitely no couch change (that's part of why I'm asking lol), but I still really do hope that my reasons are good enough and that I'll hopefully get lucky and be gifted it. 🤞

So what even is DBSZ?

In short, Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is an anime arena fighter. Unfortunately AAFs haven't had the best rep as of late, due to lack of care put into them gameplay-wise and being mostly used as cash grabs that use a particularly well-known series' characters to profit off that anime's popularity and nothing more. That's not the case with Sparking Zero however. The game is a direct continuation of the Budokai Tenkaichi series, which have been universally praised and are thought of not only as some of the best Dragon Ball games ever or best arena fighters ever, but also some of the greatest ever anime games PERIOD, and now both critics and fans are saying that Sparking Zero has proved itself as a worthy successor to the BT series and has given hope that the arena fighter genre isn't dead and buried.

Why do I want it?

Firstly, it looks insane. Whenever I see gameplay footage of it I have to remind myself that what I'm looking at is in fact a video game and not the actual anime, it's THAT good. Second, I will admit that I didn't grow up watching Dragon Ball, or have ever played the previous Budokai Tenkaichi games, so I don't have any nostalgia for the series. However, I'd love to experience this type of game for the first time, so that I can experience what others have for decades, and considering that this game has multiplayer where you can fight other real people, I think this is the perfect way to get introduced not just to the BT series, but also the entire Dragon Ball series as a whole! Third, and this one is cheesy but I have to be honest lol, I would really appreciate a light-hearted game like this to take my mind off my real-world struggles.

Why can't I afford it?

I'll spare you the details so I don't end up writing an overly long sob-story; I currently live (unwillingly) in Eastern-Europe, meaning awful wages, meaning the game is simply out of my reach financially (while not literally unreachable it would be very irresponsible of me to spend that type of money when I have to think about my own life and career, I'm not a kid anymore who can afford to spend all their money on games). It's unaffordability is also partly due to Steam not having any regional pricing, which means I would have to pay the EXACT SAME amount as someone who earns literally DOUBLE the minimum wage here in a neighbouring country, so not exactly fair.

Hello GoG, today I am making a request for Caves of Qud.

Why I Am Interested In This Game

Caves of Qud is a a roguelike CRPG that has a big focus on both the world and on simulation. Roguelikes and roguelites are probably my favorite genre of game and because you can have a different experience every time you play, I always find myself coming back to them regardless of how old they are. Games that have vague stories that you have to discover through dialogue with other characters and with objects and locations found around the world are some of my favorite ways of storytelling and it seems like this game is all about that type of storytelling. FromSoftware's soulsborne series does this incredibly and it makes exploring feel that much more mysterious and rewarding. The simulation aspect of the game is probably the thing that interests me the most about it. From what I can see, it seems like it is a game where, at least in terms of interacting with the world around you, it gives you the freedom to do just about anything and interact in any way that you want. An example of this that is shown in the trailer video on the Steam page is that if your character has multiple limbs such as being a crab person, you are able to equip gear and items to each and every one of your legs and arms and have them interact with each other in all sorts of different interesting ways. The trailer also shows interesting things that you can do such as time traveling to recruit yourself as an ally or giving a door sentience and then swapping bodies with the door so that you can play as a door. There are so many different ways you can play this game and I would love to be able to experiment and see the different ways I can interact with the world.

Why I Cannot Purchase The Game For Myself

The reason that I cannot purchase the game for myself right now is because I can't afford it at the moment. I do not have a lot of disposable income at this time and I need to save my money for other important needs.

the reason i want to get the game i put in my title is ive been a huge fan of this rpg series and have been playing the entire series since it began with mario and luigi superstar saga the series have brought me joy fun excitement, ive had allot of fun reading through the story,fighting the bosses the enemies, learning about the characters you meet along the way be it in the mushroom kingdom or some other place we travel to. the whole series is how i got into rpg games one of my favorite in the series was mario and luigi dream team it was fun to play the giant boss battles were fun to do and figure out how to beat the giant boss battles especially the dream bird that was fun and frustrating then came the final bosses anthemasa and bowser were allot of fun to fight and beat they gave me a run for my money i was sad when i heard alpha dream went bankrupt after they released their final game in this series while it was a remake mario and luigi bowsers inside story+bowser jrs journey was fun. when i found out this happened i was upset shocked and lost hope when we didnt hear news of a new one in this series was going to happen. then when nintendo announced this new game i was happy i was shocked i was jumping for joy when i heard someone took alpha dreams torch and revived the series. i hope someone can gift me this game as ive been a huge fan for this series for a long time and i want aquire the company behind this revival to be able to make more for nintendo and the fans

I’ve been wanting to play this legendary game for years, and now that it’s available on PC, I’m incredibly excited about the possibility of experiencing it firsthand. I’ve heard so much about its iconic story, unforgettable characters, and the vast open world that captures the spirit of the Old West. Hello there everyone! I hope you are all doing good, Im requesting a DLC for the sims 4.

Why you may ask? Well I started loading quite a lot of hours into it again and I tought about getting a new dlc, but I really cant allow myself to spend 40 euros on a DLC.

As some of you may know already (as I requested a lot of times here unsucesfuly a few times) I am a high school student in hungary So I cant really allow myself to spend the 40 euros on it.

So onto the topic: What is the Sims 4? The sims 4 is a life simulation game made by EA. You can make so called "sims" aka people that you control and have to make them live their lives. I got no clue how to explaine it any better then this.

What is the Sims 4 City Living? Its a DLC for the sims 4 and it adds a new neigbour hood to the game wich is a city with apartmans (flats). It adds new events, clothes for your sims, hairs and bears for them, and new furniture.

I know its not too cheap but I hope someone will decide to gift City Living to me, but either way I wish you all the best!

Hello, I'm creating my own strategy physical board game in my free time. I've played many different board and card games in the past and now I'm trying to enhance and improve the things I liked with some fresh and new ideas. I'm working alone, without any team, the process of design is not so easy as I thought at start but I really enjoy it.

Some info about my board game

The game is set in some fantasy world, it will use the changing board (so every playthrough should be quite unique) with the cards representing various items, obstacles, goals, locations and enemies. One of my goals is to reduce "the element of luck" to let the player focus on strategic thinking. In the current version of design there are no dice rolls and all events look like some logical puzzles.

The challenge I need to beat

One of the interesting concepts of my game is the number of players: player will be able to play the game alone or with some friends (in mode of cooperation or competition). I think that good and interesting solo mode, without the use of dice, is one of the hardest and the most challenging things to design in any board game but I'm trying my best.

First step: fully playable physical version, second step: go digital

I know that is very hard to publish the physical version of any game - all the paper and distribution is very costly. That's the reason why when design and all playtests are completed I'm also going to start the work on the digital version. I was going to use Unity Engine as my platform of choice but after the last controversy around this environment I've decided to switch to Godot Engine which is an open source game engine so it should not create such surprises in the future. Letting the world play the digital version of my game will be a good chance to meet a large variety of players and maybe even more improve some mechanics before its final, physical release.

Why would I like to have this bundle of game assets?

While working mostly with pen and paper cards I'm also in a process of gathering various game assets to speed up the development of the digital version of the game (when I'm ready for that step) and this Humble Bundle has a large collection of game assets from 2024 that would nicely fit into the digital version of my project.

It includes both pixel art (which interests me the most out of all types of graphics) and sound effects / audio tracks (which will be exclusive to the digital version of my game - they are quite difficult to generate by myself but the proper and good quality audio should greatly improve the experience of the players).

If anyone is feeling generous and would like to support my creative work then I will be very grateful to receive this bundle as a gift.

Why can’t I afford this game?

It inflation and the game cost almost triple the price in my country. It will be 200$ in my country currency. I know I asking for full-price game from u. I know it a lot for u too. So, here I what I want to offer to u is steam family. U can tell me hey why don’t u save up money to buy the game? Yea I can. I could save 10$ a month for this game but the problem is the cost almost 200$ in my country currency. I really don’t want to spend the kind of money for game. I should spend that money for more important things. It really ridiculous to spend that kind of money on a game. To put you in my country perceptive, minimum wages in my country is 350$.

Why do I want this game?

I played the first game on ps4 when it was free to claim on ps store. It was unexpected. I didn’t really care about the game but it blew me away. Main thing is gameplay. Fighting the big mech monsters is always highlight for me. Using different gadgets and traps. The gameplay is so good. The world is so interesting and the music. Horizon main soundtrack is one of the best soundtracks in modern gaming. There is sometime i didn’t even realize i was humming the main theme song lol.

I want to see the next chapter of alloy. I built my pc Rtx 3060 last two years ago and I think this is a time to play this game. Maybe medium setting.

An impossible request, but here goes nothing.

Been trying to play this game for a long time, I sadly have it on PC but it's a known issue that it crashes even to this date on high end pc's. Mine is a potatoe and can barely function with later games at their lowest. I still got my PS4 and was hoping to get it there, where it runs fine. I've tried everything and anything to make it work, but to no avail, it crashes all the time and it saturates my pc + breaks my second monitor... it's beyond annoying with my limited game time as it is.

This is a very selfish request imo. But I had to give this a try... perhaps someone has it with a code gathering dust, or maybe someone feels like being the coolest person on earth and send it my way, who knows.

I'm a dad of an almost 2yo, and another on the way, i work all day and have a few moments to play in the night, where sometimes I can barely make it.

Got two accounts on my PS4, mine which is a european acc. (back in the day i made this acc when the ps3 came out and here in Argentina we had no region to make accounts, so I oddly choosed spain) and my wife's which is an american account.

Hello GoG, hope everyone is well! I’ve come again to attempt a game but a more realistic and small one, as I now know not everyone will just throw $69.99 at a stranger without getting anything back which is completely understandable lmao. So the game I’ve been interested for a while is on sale, which is Dead Rising 3(Apocalypse Edition) for $.99!

WhyI can’t I purchase this myself?

My check has come in but I’ve had to let a majority to my brother and now I’m left with only $100 which I’m saving for as much groceries I can get with that, so games are out the picture for a long while til I can get another commission, which I haven’t had since July so that’s slim. But I am trying to better my art so I can get more and offer more money for commissions.

Why I want this game?

I’ve been interested in the Dead Rising games since last year as I used to watch gameplays of it all the time, I love the aloof and unseriousness of it! Plus the bosses are hilarious in the particular one, at least to me. Also the price and size of it is perfect for my laptop! And I just really wanna treat myself somehow with my midterms recently passing you know?

In conclusion I’d really appreciate it, you’d be making a disabled broke college kid’s day, quite literally!

What is GTA 5:

Why I want it:

I played GTA 5 when it first came out on my cousin's friend's ps3. I loved it but didn't have the means to buy the game and I was like 8. Now I am old enough and I would like to try and play GTA 5 as well as online. It has been my dream to buy the game for over a decade.

Why I can't buy it:

First of all I am 0.48$ short. I recently got a steam gift card from my friend. Unfortunately I can't buy anything with it as I was saving my money for a steam sale. I saw on steam DB that it went on sale for 6.47$ last year. I hoped to buy it but the sale didn't happen. I am in a country where I can't exactly make transactions that easily as it requires me to get a visa or a mastercard. I haven't the slightest clue about them. I only have that 10$ steam gift card and nothing else. I once tried to purchase a physical copy only to find out I had been scammed. I have tried to find legit ways to acquire the game but to no avail.

So, if you are in a generous mood or just want to help a poor guy out. Please give me a GTA 5 steam key or a 5 dollar gift card or something for me to buy the game
