I'm eligible to vote for the first time ever and I've tried multiple times to register through the voters helpline app,I even filled a form in college for voters ID last YEAR!, I heard it takes roughly 15 days to get the ID,but given the time I have left seems unlikely is there possibly a way to get my card issued prior to 13th May?,like by going to a party office or smth

Today I went to cast my vote. First time voter. Baramati constituency, living in Pune.

My parents are old voters and they never got their hardcopies of voter ID. During elections they used to go to school nearby, check their names and cast their vote. And one day before the people of some parties used to come to give slips of the names and voter serial no. Today we went all together to cast our vote. My father's name is in the list and I already registered online so I didn't need any slip , I downloaded the voter ID digital copy and went straight inside.

No need for me to wait in line (tip for someone who's going to vote, first time and non first time, download the digital id and you can go straight inside to the booth no waiting in line for slips)

My parents' voter ID was never there. And nor their mobile numbers or email are connected because they're voting since last 25 years like this only. Even in 2019 this wasn't the problem.

I voted and my father voted successfully. But mom can't vote.

We are in khadakwasla assembly constituency. In khadakwasla assembly my mother's name is missing. We roamed from every center to center to check name. And even on the apps of agents. The name of my mother isn't there. I saw other guy who came there and he was angry he said to the agents that he is missing in list and the agent said that 750 names aren't there.

Note for people in Pune constituency. Kindly download digital ID on voters. eci. gov website and if other members in your family don't have numbers linked visit nearby post office or nagarsevak office to check your names to avoid headache. And if name isn't there contact election commission officer or just register online for another one. BUT ONLY AFTER ENQUIRING ABOUT IT.

My MIL lives in Kothrud. Today she received a WhatsApp call from someone claiming to be from CBI. The person told her that her son (my BIL), who lives in Hinjewadi has been arrested under rape case. She even heard my BIL's voice claiming he is sorry for he is done and they are hitting him a lot. Initially she was not accepting it but after hearing his voice she believed them. She called me from my FIL's number to inform this, realising it's a scam I got my BIL on conference and had him speak to her.

Kindly inform your parents and other elderly people to stay safe and if possible set a code word for situations like this. Me and my wife have 4 code words for emergency purpose.

I am thinking to give a try to IF maybe by doing it once or twice a week at start..And I need some suggestions/help regarding the same.

So my work shift is 11AM - 8PM. I workout at around 8AM in the morning, 10AM breakfast & Lunch at 1PM.

I am in Baramati constituency. I was going to vote for bjp since I have a toxic relationship with Pawar family. And I did not wanted this family to ever come into power again. Now Ajit the scammer/bluffmaster went to NDA allaince I have no idea what to do now. I am not a Modi admirer btw I hate him but I hate Sharad Pawar and family more than Modi BJP. So I was going to vote BJP but Ajit Pawar scammed his way into BJP.

If I vote for INDIA alliance Supriya Sule wins (for those who don't know, daughter of Sharad Pawar) and if I vote for NDA allaince Ajit Pawar's wife wins (jiska koi ata pta nahi hai, Ajit is nephew of Sharad). If I was in Pune I'd have options.

Hi, I recently move to pune and being someone who's not very outgoing it's been kinda not great. It's kinda been a cultural shock for me and ppl generally seem very not so approachable. I'm currently in some area called pimple saudagar. M age 21 6'0", I do occasionally smoke and currently an intern as SWE/SDE role.

I will most prolly get something IT or ENTC(ECE) in AIT Pune...so guys any Info regarding that college is welcomed, how is the culture, how are people there, how good F-M ratio or how good is college life...or perhaps placements too(please do this one atleast😭).

Want people's review on it, on what they have heard and know about AIT(stats and quora aint doing it)...Is it worth joining and all..am from MP if it makes any difference.

Travelling via that route in the morning [so probably a veg breakfast place before 11am] and we are tired of the usual highway foodcourt. We are willing to go 10-15km off route if its worth it.
