I love this goofy shit.
Im currently at S7 and truthfully I really enjoy bouncing around a lot and pressing each panel one foot at a time (I use my tippy toes the entire time because it feels more natural). It feels really fun and more fluent that way for me, but when i see people who are experts it seems like they almost have their feet flat and they toe or heel tap the panels with barely any jumping or movement that feels very bound to a spot. Its very stationary in a sense? I cant explain it properly.
My question(s) is, if I want to get better at the game, will i have to stop being as mobile as i usually am? Also, what level will I be capped at since im on my tippy toes the entire time when i do play?
[The songs ive beaten on S7 are Super Capriccio and Good Bounce]
I went to check out today and all the PIU videos in the past 3 years are gone
hi. I'm trying to set up my own pumpOS PC to play official (not stepmania) oldschool games but I can't find them anywhere, does anyone have a copy? I already built my arduino IO, and I'd really like to have a few games to test it with
looking from anything from 1st dance floor to Exceed 2, thanks in advance.
So I went again on Wednesday and I did “ok” not really though I’m gunna give my legs a whole week to rest, if I still suck then I think I’m cooked. Here is footage of me playing drills
Another milestone achieved, Honestly when I first started taking this game seriously like a year ago I didn’t think any of this is even remotely possible but having this routine has helped me so much with being more active, eating better, feeling better. I’m so thankful for everyone in here for giving me motivation to keep on going, and pushing myself to my limits! So to all of that, Thank you everyone!
I’ll include a profile link case anyone’s interested in seeing my pass list (tnx tusa!)
i go to the arcade like once [sometimes twice] a week, wondering if it'd be better to just have one at home. Also any idea where to buy em?
Edit: Thanks to everyone for the advice :]
I've decided to buy an L-tek pad first, and see how things go from there [If the L-tek pad is good/comfortable i'll just keep using it, and if it's not/feels weird then I'll invest in a cab]

Been playing sarabande lv2, just increasing the speed once I get better (I’m outta speeds now) I don’t like holding buttons, But I want another map like that to play, what would you recommend?
As title says, I'm building my own MK9 since there are no cabs near me and the game I want to play the most is NX2. I already have the motherboard (Gigabyte GA-945GCM-S2L), case (generic low profile) and PSU (200W included with the case), but I can't find conclusive info if the GeForce 8400GS will support it. From what I gathered, it originally came with a 7200GS, but I can't find low profile ones. I don't wanna buy a GPU (and HDD+key) only to find out it doesn't work afterwards
Hey everybody! I'm looking for song titles from many different editions. I've found many from Prime 2, XX and Phoenix in high quality. But when searching for titles from older games, such as NX or Fiesta, I've found much lower quality ones (640x480px) such as the one below.
I understand that these titles usually come in 4:3 ratio, which is the standrard for TVs and monitors of those years. Is there a place where I kind find these (from every machine up to Prime) in better quality?
Thank you in advance :D have a nice day/aftertnoon/evening/night
Feat: gangnam style guy
I already have 22 d23 passes, the closest s23 pass I have is Good Night where I break in the middle of the 2nd chorus, everything else just seems impossible to keep up with. Am I missing something?
Hi, we have been with Phoenix almost 2 years now and traditionally we have a new version every 2 years (XX lasted around 4 years) Do you think Phoenix will last 3 or 4 years? Should I buy a Phoenix or save for the next one? Thanks
