Princess and the Frog themed Precure, complete with our first black lead, first green lead, and all the fighting that made Go Princess so amazing.
They've been wanting to innovate and this would be the most wonderful.
Are Pretty Cure finally coming back to Italy? 🥹 The words of Toei Animation before the screening of the film at Lucca Comics give us hope:
"We are very happy to be here again in 2024 with Pretty Cure. Today, as you know very well, we have a very special screening that I will introduce to you by the real guest of the day. I will just leave you by saying: today, like last year, is the beginning of a journey that in our intention wants to bring many other things back to Italy, so today we will see each other, we will also see each other in the next few days at the exhibition for those who want to come, but... Stay tuned with us, stay tuned because we have many other news in the future!"
2 days left until Black Pepper's birthday!
Although it would be incredible to see a " Cure Death" one day, I guess it doesn't quite fit the tone of the franchise. What other cure do you think will never appear?
The subtitles caught me off guard.
Cure Earth has the same Voice Actress with Washio Sumi/Mimori Togo from Yuki Yuna
So I just finished STP, and I gotta say, it’s now my third favorite season. What did you all think when watching it?
With a new season around the corner, I’m sure we’re all excited to see what theme Precure will approach next! :) Any ideas of one you’d love to see?
I don’t have an idea that I’m really attached to, but I’m impressed with how they pulled off multiple distinct food-based seasons (Kira Kira Precure A La Mode for baking sweets and Delicious Precure for cooking meals). So they aren’t always completely unique from each other.
Maybe there could be one about aromatherapy/spas/self-care with the cures themed around different refreshing botanical scents? Like lavender, eucalyptus, yuzu, mint, and ginger? Who knows! I’d love to hear other people’s ideas!
Super Sentai has once got the risk of being shelved, but Choujin Sentai Jetman saved it as we know it and the rest is history, but has PreCure ever once got so bad it almost killed the franchise until a season saved it?
I know that it is a guaranteed that most of them could, but I think Sora Harewataru is one of those who came to mind.
During the corruption of Komugi, when Iroha was trying to snap her out of Gaou’s malice, a blue wolf appeared in Komugi’s mind and howled, which allowed Iroha’s words to be heard. I think that was Gaou before he was corrupted that saved Komugi. Like, deep inside, he didn’t want to corrupt Komugi. Makes me think the shard of the Niko Diamond Gaou has was causing the amplification of his malice and why the MOTWs are being made.
I really wanted this for my own 3DS LL, but I can only find this stock photo floating around. I've never seen an actual photo of the product, or seen this for sale. does anyone know if they actually made 3DS faceplates for Precure? I saw this on a twitter post talking about Precure leaks so it could be fake for all I know
To clarify this further, would you want to see a season where the Cures don't understand or know their powers very well at the beginning and do training and practice to get better at it?
Like I don't hate the idea of them knowing to instinctively fight after newly acquiring their powers, but I feel like it might be interesting to see Cures who are very clumsy and prone to mistakes in the first few episodes/appearances and then they become visibly better and less goofy about their fighting style and powers later on.
It makes sense for the recent Cures like Summer (who has acrobatic skills and energy), Precious (who is a physically sporty and active girl), and Sky (who is trained in a martial art) to be more aware of how to control their power, but I think a clumsy group of protags who learn and help each other improve can be an interesting way to build the characters.
Ex.
MC Cure from episode 1-5 will sometimes overshoot her jumps and maybe even trip mid-battle because she is not used to her new strength and outfit but she still manages to win the day with willpower, the fairies constantly telling her what to do, and a bit of luck. By episode 6, she starts to notice an improvement in her personal training under the fairies and the enemies also notice she is becoming sharper in her movements and has better control of her strength. She starts to fight on her own without the instructions of the fairies as the series goes on.
By episode 10, she can easily defeat grunt monsters easier vs how she struggled from the beginning. Maybe the individual Cures even gain their unique powers a few episode later AFTER their debut because they are starting to get a grasp at their powers better vs just knowing their purifying move right after transforming. This also means that the Cures who debuted first will still get more mileage out of their purification moves for a bit until the new Cures learn theirs.
For me, they literally changed Akane's restaurant name into simply just "Restaurant"
Usually it comes around the end of October so I'm surprised I haven't seen anything about it on Reddit or the Pretty Cure wiki. Won't be announced in November?
So last night, I had this dream about a new Precure team. Basically, the team was based on cosmetics (especially skincare and makeup) and loving yourself.
There were five members to start with: a pink, a blue, a yellow, a purple, and a red. I was the purple one, which is weird, because realistically, they wouldn’t put a guy in a makeup-themed season. I don’t remember any of their names. I also remember that the pink one had blonde hair with pink ends like Cure Flora and the blue one had teal accents in her dress and a skin mask on. I think she even had teal glasses that looked like cucumbers.
For some reason, we were really small, around the size of a toy, and in someone’s house. (The room we were in kind of reminds me of that one attic map from Hide and Seek Extreme on Roblox.) I think we were trying to get up to a foosball table that had a monster of the week on it, and we had to parkour everywhere to get up there. I woke up after that.
Overall, that was a weird dream, but definitely a fun one. I kind of want to turn it into my next fanseries.
I want to go in the series blindfolded. No leaks whatsoever. I will try avoiding to know about the theme and even the character names.
Will someone give a link to a website that will have the first episode the day it comes out so I could watch it! I would GREATLY appreciate if the link doesn’t even have a cover for the series. Just straight into the episode!
They've never made a Pretty Cure show with an anniversary gimmick.
They made banks with Gokaiger, Decade, and Zi-O, and for multiple years Ultraman ran on the whole Fusion gimmick with Orb, Geed, and Z... and even r/B had the legacy characters appear on the gimmick item for no reason.
I don't want to conjure one up, but I'm surprised we haven't had a PreCure equivalent to Decade or Z using anniversary perfumes or something to evoke the powers of previous Cures.
I appreciate that they'd rather go for specials like Otona.
I've talked about the idea of a sleuth mystery themed Precure season for a while, but I've always wondered if giving such a season a similar vibe to Kamen Rider W could work for Precure. Not in the general tone of the story mind you, but more things like the general style or music, having noir stylings, but in a much brighter world and in a more fun and upbeat story.
I think it could be cool, but I don't no if it would really appeal to the main Precure demographic.
You got things like being betrayed by your idol, have your real problems fixed by the villain, having a dark past that involves things like abuse and violence and so on. It's rumored that these were plan to happen in seasons and movie but the scrapped them because they'd be too upsetting for the kids, and revealing them in interview would be no different. I don't know if this is true or not, but if they were how do you think they'd upset anyone?
