Recently got into figure collecting after getting my own place and some disposable income....I was going over posable options for some older anime I enjoy and while most had next to nothing outside of a Nendoroid here and there I discovered that SHF had put out a Sailor Moon line.

I have quite a few of their offerings that I am rather pleased with (Chainsawman, Kaiju No.8, their recent Yusuke, etc) so when I discovered these I was rather hopeful, but just about everywhere I look speaks of issues with them (namely fragility and dated engineering since SHF seems to just be reusing molds from 2014 for this recent animation recolor). The lack of effects parts is also a bit depressing and while it looks like they did put out a Super line back in 2017 (which is honestly everything I could have wanted) they're all astronomically expensive on the secondary market.

So to anyone who has this recent set....how do they hold up? I'm not particularly rough with my figures but I absolutely do plan to get frequent use out of them (every time I get someone new I'll typically grab a few other figures to pose with them) and am curious if the complaints actually do have merit or they're just from people who aren't gentle with their toys. ...and if these particular figures aren't worth it then where else should I look for articulated 1/12 versions of the scouts?

One question I'm done with sailor Moon now, I'm just confused because many say there are different endings. Should I see the last season of the 90s as a happy ending or the movie sailor Cosmos?

Do you guys prefer Dic, Cloverway, Viz Media, or the Japanese cast? Personally, I’m biased towards the Viz Media cast.

It wasn't really used that often in the first season, and they were only used twice after that (once in Sailor Moon R, and once in Sailor Moon S)

It's been a while since I watched the 1st season, but did something happen to destroy it? Or were there no opportunities for it to be used/the writers forgot about it?

Know nothing about SM, trying to find daughters Xmas gift (mini backpack)

Good day to all! My daughter has gotten into Sailor Moon and asked for a Loungefly/Boxed Lunch style mini backpack for Christmas. I am having a time finding them that are not collector priced or junk. I have ordered two from eBay and had to return them because they smelled like a pack a day smoker used them while living in a ventless closet. I am also seeing a lot that are cheap but they are cheap for a reason (tears, stains etc). I have no problem paying retail for them but not $150USD plus!

Does anyone sell them new anymore? Hot Topic is a no, so is Loungefly .com and Boxed Lunch. Been on Google but nothing good. Plenty of cheap knockoffs but that is not what I want her to have. I realize we are late to the SM game, BUT I would like to get this for her. She really doesn’t ask for much. Such a good kid and I want her to have this if possible.

Her favorites are Luna, Usagi/Sailormoon, Sailor Venus and Sailor Neptune (don’t come to hard if I go these mixed up, my nerdiness goes toward cars and Star Wars/LOTR. Never got Manga/Anime, but no hate. It is her thing and she loves it.

Hello everyone, I know this is a weird question but Crunchroll (pretty sure it was crunchyroll) released a Sailor Moon staff or weapon for Sailor Moon last year I'm pretty sure and it didn't come out properly until like... late spring I think? I didn't bookmark it like I should have but now I can't find where or what the name of it was. It was over $200 USD and it did sounds and was pretty large from what I remember, but I can't for the life of me remember:

A. What the name of the item was

B. Where I ACTUALLY saw it and

C. Who made it

I want to get it for her for Christmas so I know I'm pressing time wise. Could someone here please help me figure this out?
