Mega Camerupt Competition - Week 43 2024

#Mega Camerupt Competition

AUTOMATION INFO: Check the archived AutoModerator-post for more game resources.

##Competition basics

This is a Ground type competition. Super Effective types you can use against are Water, Grass and Ice.

You have 15 moves to do the highest score you can. Take your time to do the best moves you can! For new players to competitions, it's worth it to do at least one full-item run for getting the Cameruptite! Doing an itemless run to study disruptions is also suggested.

  • Mega Start: Grants Mega Evolution starting the stage
  • Disruption Delay: Delays disruptions for half the duration of the stage
  • Attack Power ↑: Attack power gets doubled

##Rewards

  • Players who already have the Cameruptite will receive 1 Level Up.

##Final notes

The preferred choice is of course a 3tapper, with Aggron being Neutral. If you lack one of them, fallback to 2 tapper. Otherwise use a SE one, with Gyarados (Shiny) and Gyarados being the best.

Ground stages can be handled with double TC and Kyogre (Primal) is the perfect beatstick since the stage has rocks. Lacking both SE TC, you should rely on a neutral TC and other beatsticks, like Kyogre, Meganium or Ash-Greninja.

If you're using a tapper, try to setup 2 Numels on row 4, after Disruption Pattern No. 5 (refer to Disruptions pic above). This will lead to the next disruption auto combo-ing, progressing to the next disruption cycle immediately.

Rerun until you get a desirable score! Good luck everyone!

Query Den: ask your questions here! - Week 43 2024

Hey there!

We hope that you're enjoying playing Pokémon Shuffle and finding this subreddit helpful. We know this place can be a bit daunting for new members and so we've set up the Query Den.

The Query Den is a friendly place where you can ask any questions about the game in a safe environment. We have a lot of experienced players in here that will swoop in and answer all of your questions. We encourage you to use the Query Den to ask a question first, instead of creating a new post, that will overshadow other important ones.

We have many informative guides to start you off and you should also check out our Discord server, where you'll get lots of help and support.

Happy Shufflin'!

Friend Zone: Mobile Friend Code Megathread! - Week 43 2024

Feel free to post your friend codes in this thread! A new Friend Zone will be created every week, on Sundays.

If you wish, you can also add your codes in the Discord Server #fc_sharing or the Wiki page.

Please include your region (e.g. Asia/Australia , EU, SA, NA) when posting your friend code and update your comment (strikethrough would be the best option, ~~markdown uses 2 tildes to use this format~~) when you have filled your friend list. That way people will not try to add you unintentionally.

EXCLAMATION STATION - Week 42 2024

Welcome to the EXCLAMATION STATION! You have two easy choices here... bless Shuffle for your recent good RNG, OR TURN CAPS LOCK ON AND YELL ABOUT YOUR GAME FRUSTRATIONS.

Things to be thankful for:

  • Those 10k+ coins on weekend meowth
  • That super TC combo in the competition
  • That 1% capture

  • THAT FARMABLE STAGE THAT DOESN'T DROP PSB
  • THOSE SAFARI WITH BULLSHIT APPEARANCE + CATCH RATES
  • THAT FAILED ITEM RUN ON THE ESCALATION BATTLES
  • THAT UX STAGE ATTEMPT ENDED WITH A BUNCH OF HP

Things to always remember:

  • MOBILE FRIEND CODES. Use the Friend Zone Megathread, or ANGRY PIKACHU will punish you
  • ANYTHING RACIST/SEXIST/HOMOPHOBIC/BIGOTED/ETC. Profanities are ok, but don't exceed. I hope you all know where the line is drawn
  • NO PERSONAL ATTACKS. Always respect other players

Mega Pinsir Competition - Week 41 2024

#Mega Pinsir Competition

AUTOMATION INFO: Check the archived AutoModerator-post for more game resources.

##Competition basics

This is a Bug type competition. Super Effective types you can use against are Fire, Flying and Rock.

You have 15 (+5) moves to do the highest score you can. Take your time to do the best moves you can! For new players to competitions, it's worth it to do at least one full-item run for getting the Pinsirite! Doing an itemless run to study disruptions is also suggested.

  • Moves +5: Adds 5 moves to the stage
  • Mega Start: Grants Mega Evolution starting the stage
  • Disruption Delay: Delays disruptions for half the duration of the stage
  • Attack Power ↑: Attack power gets doubled

##Rewards

  • Players who already have the Pinsirite will receive 1 Level Up.

##Final notes

The preferred choice is of course a 3tapper, with Tyranitar being SE. If you lack one of them, fallback to 2 tapper, otherwise use a SE one.

Ninetales Burn+ and Pyre are too deadly to even consider other options. You can have good scores both with a Typhlosion and a second Pyre, because both skills will trigger during beneficial disruptions. Neutral TC can be used if your Fire team is weak. Unity power and LDE are always an option for beginners.

Using Burn+, could be better to skip Disruption Delay to maximize the damage in the first moves and save some coins.

Rerun until you get a desirable score! Good luck everyone!

#Darkrai Escalation Battles

AUTOMATION INFO: Check the archived AutoModerator-post for more game resources.

##EB basics

This is a 200 stages move-based Dark type challenge, that will last for 14 days. Super Effective types you can use against are Fighting, Fairy and Bug.

Drop rates are 25/25/25 for all stages.

  • Skill 1: Sleep Charm – Requires 100 PSB to max. Superior skill, sleep works well on Psychic stages.
  • Skill 2 (SS): Spookify+ – Requires 120 PSB to max. Don't swap it, Sleep Charm is already good. Also, not being Ghost type, it is worse than Mimikyu.

Mega Alakazam Competition - Week 39 2024

#Mega Alakazam Competition

AUTOMATION INFO: Check the archived AutoModerator-post for more game resources.

##Competition basics

This is a Psychic type competition, so the Super Effective types that are highly recommended will be Ghost, Dark and Bug.

You have 8 (+5) moves to do the highest score you can. Take your time to do the best moves you can! For new players to competitions, it's worth it to do at least one full-item run for getting the Alakazite! Doing an itemless run to study disruptions is also suggested.

  • Moves +5: Adds 5 moves to the stage
  • Disruption Delay: Delays disruptions for half the duration of the stage
  • Attack Power ↑: Attack power gets doubled
  • Complexity -1: Removes your 4th Support Pokemon from play.

##Rewards

  • Players who already have the Alakazite will receive 1 Level Up.

##Final notes

With Complexity-1, this is a 3 supports competition, results will be highly effected by RNG.

Self removal megas and tappers are great, the type effectiveness of the mega is totally marginal. Effect and Speed is miles better than the type alone.

If you don't have Mimikyu/Lunala or TC Hoopa (Unbound), you should probably use a full Sinister Power team. Shadow Dance is not as good as it seems, just like neutral TC. Bug strategy is even worse, but still greatly better than a burst skills.

Using Spookify+, could be better to skip Disruption Delay to maximize the damage in the first moves and save some coins.

Rerun until you get a desirable score! Good luck everyone!
