So who here trusts All Engelhard to find smoking hot deals on Vintage Silver? I do!

Today I bring to you some AE Draper Mint Rounds with less than 250 estimated mintage BUT you need to hear my side of the story before you BIN.

While looking for some colorized bicentennial rounds I stumbled across these rounds from 1976 that I remembered seeing on the Draper Mint page of All Engelhard. Surprisingly after tweaking the search I found multiples of them! I thought maybe there was a tube of them that ended up on FeeBay or the estimated mintage was off. Still vintage silver from 1976 by the Draper Mint and a great grab for the collection for less than $75!

After I bought multiples I took them to my LCS and to some vintage dealers I know from the coin shows to "authenticate" them. Every one of them confirmed they are real, that is the coin from AE, and it was a great grab! They explained that mintages are just an estimate so there could be more of them, however chances are they were not mass produced.

Here is where things start to get fuzzy. I do have the version "pictured" on AE. If you check the COA on AE it shows the coin was minted by Draper Mint, but it always bugged me that COA picture of the coin looked different than the actual coin. The Vintage expert at the coin show (Silver Steve Austin) told me the COA is just clip art so I can't rely on that alone. That helped ease my concerns but the difference in clip art vs what I had in my hand always bugged me.

Then this weekend I got an FeeBay alert for my saved search. Guess what it was? A vintage 1976 coin that I had never seen before but it matched the clip art on the COA exactly. It is my unprofessional opinion that this new coin is the real deal and AE has the incorrect silver round image posted. The "real" round does NOT have the US in the background like these and instead has 13 stars circling the Spirit of ’76 Artwork (which is also smaller).

Once it arrives I plan to send some pictures to AE to get their opinion on it and who knows, maybe you will see my new coin on AE in the future. Until then the coins in this post match the coin on AE.

Hello! As title says, I want a solid gold pendant of a snake with diamonds in it. Needs a 4.5+mm bail. Also, would anyone happen to have a 4mm clasp with diamonds in it?
