#49 of 300. Looks like it comes from a gas station knife selection. It’s actually a 350$ Protech very well made knife the sterling skull seems fitting.
Just broke 75oz of 999/9999 and $30fv of 90% constitutional! Not counting world silver as I don’t look at it as part of the stack. Shooting for 100oz and $50FV before I move to gold.
Sorry if this is has been discussed...Just read NJ is dropping sales tax of precious metal purchases over $1k.
New Jersey Senate Bill 721
Because I love silver, mates!
Got these for stocking stuffers and got one for myself
Unsure if the nickel is actually part silver
Walked out the door at $1000 even. No change etc. I was happy and still am.
Are bullion coins and bars affected by different sets of laws?
I don't understand why it would be important to classify round metal as money, but not rectangular metal.
I just got a 76oz 95% silver tray, I want to know where I can go to get the most for it, I also don’t know if it will be sold for scrap silver or not so any advice on that would be great.
I started stacking around the time I started getting back into goldsmithing (it's still called goldsmithing, but I pretty much just work in silver), which was about 6 months ago. So sometimes my stack loses an ounce or two because I alloy it into sterling and make rings. But the plan is to sell those and buy more silver!
I picked up 15oz today and my bullion guy just handed me a box of various 1oz rounds to choose from. I assumed I would just be getting maple leafs! So I added a little diversity with the Chinese panda coin (probably my favourite), a couple buffalos, and the First Majestic Aztec coin.
Came so close to adding some gold to the stack but I asked to see the 1/10 gold pieces and they just felt so small and insubstantial.. I couldn't bring myself to spend $425 on a piece of gold that's barely bigger than my pinky nail.
Maybe next time
72oz of my 100oz year end goal. I'll work on more pics tommorow. Thank you to all the sellers that helped my grow my stack. r/pmsforsale is a great community to buy and or sell pms. I've enjoyed this wild obsession that I've gotten to share with so many good people. Happy stacking.
Got a question; Which would have a greater trade-in value at a LCS:a silver round, like an Morgan or Peace Dollar, or an ASE? Also, what would be the price under spit to expect on them?
900 silver pour into abstract(ant hill) with a weight of 320 grams.
Lil Antique Store find, it’s like the size of my head
Has my one seen these?? Apparently only 50,000 are minted and it has an “oriental boarder” but they sold it to me at price.
Maybe a silly question, but why couldn't prices be set in bullion instead of fiat? Especially if inflation got out of hand? For example, "I'm selling this thing for precisely X amount of silver". If the buyer wishes to pay in fiat, they'd convert and pay whatever X amount of silver is worth in fiat.
It would be pretty inconvenient when the fiat currency is doing fine. But in times of bad inflation, it would suck to work a job that pays a fixed fiat salary per year while the currency depreciates every day. You'd have to renegotiate constantly to get a fair deal.
