Hi, I am looking for a phone for a one of my family member. They don’t like big ass phone and want a small smart phone (android) probably around 5 inch screen size. Also cost under 15k INR
Hey everyone,
I’m currently using a Samsung A52 and thinking about upgrading. With 11/11 and Black Friday around the corner, do you think there are any good deals I should check out? Or is it better to wait until Black Friday for the best offers?
Would love to hear your thoughts and any recommendations!
Thanks!
I have a budget of 500€ and I was thinking if buying an iphone. Which one should I get that will last for at least 3 years in decent condition (and that also will be able to update)? I don't mind buying it refurbished so the price can be lower and within my budget. Btw I'm upgrading from a Xiaomi mi 10 lite 5G, this phone still works relatively fine after 4 years although it is starting to have issues and the camera sucks (especially the front one, like a lot)
I'm currently using samsung F34 5G. Recently Ive seen something weird with it. It once fell in gravy. From that day onwards, its been acting strange. My phone charges if I use an external third party charger. But if I use an official samsung charger, it doesn't charge at all. Rest nothing else is wrong with the phone.
Should I continue using a third party charger? or should I go for charging port replacement (which is costing more than expected)?
Are third party chargers safe?
I dropped my phone a while ago when I turned it on my screen was green and pixely (It still worked was just green n I couldn't see shit) It went away after a while but I dropped it yesterday again now it randomly turns green but I just press on my screen a bit and it's back to normal. I think the screen's probably a bit loose and pops back in place when I press it down a bit but idk if I should get it fixed since it doesn't seem like it's a big issue but I'm not sure if it could get worse over time
So I was searching for a LG v30 to use as a glorified music player. And came to a cheap one. Problem is: It's locked to a american network... And I live in Portugal... So my questions for you freedom loving people are:
-Will I have problems connecting to Wifi and still be able to use LTE or 4G, or even 3G?
I don't plan to put a Sim card on this phone, I'll only use as a device where I put music and preferably download songs from whatever place that the internet allows me 🏴☠️
Hey guys!
Unfortunately, my samsung A52s 5G stop working without any explanation (its a board problem i think), so i need to buy a new smartphone. I only have this two options tho (because i need to buy the phone from the vodafone store). Im very much undecided about this after watching like 15+ different videos on this matter.
What i could learn from it is that:
- Note 13 Pro+: has a better quality of screen (with more resolution , higher dpi and brightness and with a curved screen), better charging (120W) and with a better performance (with the mediatek 7200 Ultra)
- A55: Better camera (more consistent), performance A LITTLE BIT worse than the redmi (for like games and such), and a better operative system (better then the HyperOs from xiaomi at least)
So i know the 2 of them arent perfect and i need to choose base of my needs, but im really confused on what should i do. If anyone can help me with this decision i would be very much appreciated!
Hey all, I’m upgrading from 6s and I was wondering which one should I go for 13 or 14 (both regular) . All I use the phone for is calling , some social media and video watching . Thanks
Hello! I have a Moto G 5G 2024 which I would love to get a Mirror Flip Case for. However, on all the sites I’ve looked on, I haven’t found one. I’m thinking there probably just isn’t one made for my phone, but if someone knows of a place where I could find one, please let me know!
Hey guys !! I have a Vivo v20 se. Recently my display is popping out due to excessive use( been using it for almost 4.5 years). So i have an old iPhone 6s and screen's cracked. So my question is will it be worth it if I fix the iPhone and utilise it for temporary use??? Let me know if there'll be any issues with the 6s:)
I have s21 plus, and the battery quality is not good. The back camera isn't the best, so I'm thinking of switching back to iOS and getting the iPhone 12 Pro max. Any advice or opinions pls? I use my phone for social media a lot but also daily tasks, and especially when posting the pictures , it's so weird that I hear it videos look way better on iPhone for tiktok, and that's one of my dilemmas.
Is the s21 plus camera better or iphone 12 pro max, I've only watched videos on this but can't find better proof.
I’m looking into buying a new phone and I have a budget of around $320 and I was thinking about getting a Google Pixel 7 pro because they peeked my interest but I’m not so sure if they are reliable (FYI I’m on a XR currently) and if I was to choose an iPhone I was thinking a 12 Mini and I was just wondering which one would be the better option to pick.
everytime i search up "phone content" or something, i always get stuff like "APPLE IS BETTER!!!!" "SAMSUNG IS BETTER!!!!" STOP COMPARING THEM. they both can call, text, play games, draw, etc. THEY ARE THE SAME THING. and if i hear someone say "well samsung is better because it can sidelo-" USE SCARLET AND ESIGN. JUST STOP.
Looking for some recommendations of flagship phones I can get in the US that aren't Samsung or Google.
Good battery and excellent camera are my top priorities.
I don't know enough about the other companies out there (Asus, Honor, Huawei etc)
So I just found an old Samsng phone I had in an old suitcase. I can get it to connect to wifi but every other minute it plays the Samsung alert saying I have to log in to my old Samsung account if I want to use the phone. The problem is I don't remember any Samsung account creation and don't have the old number it uses any more and there is no SIM card in the phone. Is there some way to remove the Samsung account prompt?
Hello r/phones I have switched to ios around 1 year and 3 quarters ago and i do not know what phone to get next. I am in love with the settings, keyboard, control centre and launcher on iphone but it lacks unlocked sideloading (3 app limit is pretty bad and no jit is painful for some apps) on android i like the performance of phones priced close to the iphone price but i do not like some things like the undeletable bloat on almost all androids and at the same time i want a more simplistic launcher. Huawei has a nice launcher but newer models do not have google play services, xiaomi is pretty bloated with ads in the ui and it is poorly optimised. Samsung has most of the features i want but it has a shit launcher ootb and it has undeletable apps (that can only be disabled) like youtube or netflix on some models if not on all (a neighbours a15 has netflix pre installed and it is only disableable, not fully deletable and i am aware that i can use adb and i have some experience with it but i cant bother to use it again) other than that i am wondering if rooting would be a option like if i could get a s24 or a s25 when it releases and root it to uninstall those apps or to install a custom os on it that has oneui but with most apps deletable like in ios. I knwo that this is a long post but i am in a pickle here with my choice
TLDR: asking if android or ios is better for my needs and yapping about what i do not like with some phones.
Tried baking soda, dish soap, lemon juice and god knows what else. Will letting the phone case sit in bleach work?
Which is the better phone? Want to upgrade, will definitely play lots of games. Will try to emulate games too.
Charging cable of portronics is of 3 amp
Currently, with the benefits of policy and a shift in consumer attitudes, second-hand goods are increasingly favored by consumers, and more people are willing to sell their idle items. Previous data indicated that China has an annual shipment of 400 million units of mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and other digital devices. Due to low recycling penetration rates, the volume of used devices with residual value that are left idle is still growing.
The second-hand consumer electronics trading and service platform ATRenew (NYSE: RERE) is facing a new round of development opportunities.
Hi I have an Issue with my Google Pixel 8 Pro and communicating with my GF who has an Iphone. we have both been on RCS Chat for a while and it's been great, easy no issues. Now starting yesterday, It has been messed up, bad. Whenever she sends a message, it goes to SMS/MMS and when I respond, it is RCS and says the other person is offline and cannot deliver so the message doesn't go through. is it and Issue on my phone or hers. I've tried lots, resetting, checking for an update, turning RCS on and Off, and uninstalling all the Messages updates and reinstalling them, If you can help that would be great. I'm just really defeated by this.
I have screenshots to help explain but can't post them ugh.
I have a phone I didn't use for like 2 years it was turned off. I left it charging for like 8 hours now and it still doesn't turn on (I held the button for like 2 minutes) anyone got some ideas?
Hello everyone! My Samsung Galaxy S22 broke down a few days ago (I've had it for less than 2y), and I think that there's nothing I can do to save it. I'm currently using a Huawei P30 that I had laying around, but I'm thinking of getting a newer phone. What phone should I get? I was thinking of switching to iPhone 15 Pro, but I have no other Apple devices and the accessories are pretty expensive, so idk if that would be an inconvenience. I'm also thinking about a Samsung S24, but I'm kinda scared since this is my 2nd Samsung that breaks down like this. What's your opinion/experience with iPhone 15 Pro/Samsung S24? Is there another Android phone that you would recommend?
I find that I struggle with screens. They can be painful for me to look at. And I can only manage so many hours of screen time per day. Which is challenging, because I work as a writer, which requires using my computer.
I think the problem is the blue light? But not totally sure.
Anywho-- does any one know of any phones or laptops they'd recommend that use a kindle-type screen? Or for some reason are easier on the eyes?
Thanks so much!
Does anyone know where i can get a samsung galaxy s6 (not lite) eith 32 or 64gb (64 prefered) cheap, i live in germany but online they are still over 200€ but i need a secondary i can custom rom with ir blaster (you can also tell me other phones that r custom rommable with ir blaster)
I am not sure where else to post this so if there is a better sub for this please let me know!
I was normally on my phone playing some game and then suddenly a calling screen appeared as if I had already accepted the call of someone. Not the screen of getting a call where I could accept or decline, but the call was already answered. The number wasn't saved. It was just for one second so I didn't have the chance to screenshot it or anything. There isn't any history for the call. I got a notification from Truecaller saying "caller ID is active" moments later but it dissappeared. This is the second time this happens to me. Noting that both times it happened while I was turning my bluetooth headphones off but to my knowledge none of the buttons on the headphones make any phone calls. What's going on? Should I be worried?
First let me explain. I use a Google Pixel 6 Pro as my phone.
However, since that phone, like many higher end phones, doesn't allow a microsd cartridge, I use an older Moto G Power phone. It has my entire music collection on a microsd card, which is 2,000+ ripped CDs. This is my "music phone" which I only use to play the music stored on the microsd card. I keep the phone in airplane mode. It doesn't have a SIM.
I will need to replace the music phone soon. How annoying would it be to buy a carrier locked phone? Again, that phone would not have a SIM, would run in airplane mode, and would only be used to play music.
I see carrier locked phones available at large discounts. But would they interfere with the "music phone" use case I've described?
ATT and Straight Talk seem to discount their locked phones significantly. I am considering the Moto G Power 2023 or 2024 phone.
Finally, if I were to try to purchase a locked phone at, say, Walmart, would they let me, without also signing a contract with the carrier?
Thanks in advance!
I own a Iphone 12 Pro Max and I am looking to downgrade and get a new phone that is much simpler in terms of what it can do. I want it to be able to call and text, but I dont want it to be able to play games, watch tiktok or access social media in anyway. I want to increase productivity and not worry about the distraction and all the negative stuff. I would still be able to use my Iphone as a sort of MP3 when I work out and other things, but overall does anyone have any suggestion about what I should get? Maybe like a flip-ish type phone?
