So I was riding my bike (20mins ago) when I suddently fell down hard. As I wento to see something on my phone the thone was bend (not much). So my problem now is that I dont know if its covered by the guarantee. I bought it less than ayear ago. Its an Iphone 15. I tried to charge it and it doesnt work. Tips would help a lot.
Our company has many (50+) of various Samsung iDCS Series Digital phones. These have 4 available phone lines that people can call into our office. I have run into an issue where if no one answers the phone, it will ring infinitely.
We have several of the extension who have a voicemail box setup but I can't figure out how to set up a main answering machine so that someone who calls the main number (without an extension #) can leave a voice message.

Does anyone else's company use these phones and know how to set something like this up?
Daughter is 12 years old, currently has Galaxy A21s which is running out of space all the time even with frequent occurrence to free space.
I'm looking at the 100 € - 150 € price range. There are many phones that have more space. Good camera would be nice also.
My choices so far:
- OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G 8/128 GB / 149 €
- Samsung Galaxy A15 LTE 4/128 GB / 99 €
- Honor 200 Smart 5G 4/256 GB / 149 €
- Nokia C32 3/64 GB / 139 €
- HMD Pulse 4/64 GB / 139 €
- Honor X7b 6/128 GB / 129 €
We've grown accustomed to Samsung and transfering data would likely be easy.
I have no idea about the other phones how tedious the transfer would be or what kind of quality I could expect from them. I was leaning towards getting Galaxy A15 but then I heard there were many problems with it (lagging, glitching) so now I don't know...
What should I get?
I'd be coming from an old TracFone TCL 30 Z that originally came from an old mate of mine. It has served me well and frankly I'm tempted to keep running it as long as I can.
However, it'd be nice to have something fancy and high-end but I'm just wondering if it's worth the $300-400 that I see them going for. All I really do is call, text, maybe watch YouTube or browse Reddit / Twitter for art.
So i kinda left My S24 Fast charging under my pillow for 5-6 hours it was insanely hot and i cooled it down pretty Quick im pretty worried my battery's done or something please help.
Hello, I bought a recently new phone (pixel 8). And for that kind of price I expect a headphone jack. Nearly every phone you buy these days does not have a headphone jack. Seriously? What's the point of removing them? Wired are better quality and when your Bluetooth headset dies you could just plug it in.
I have iPhone 11 and everyone around me have xiaomi but the photos are just not that good. But iPhone for me has more cons than pros after 4 years of use so im looking for a different phone and I only want diaomi but the pictures are really important to e..
Guys, I am looking for a phone that I had back in the days (2010/2012). I had it only for a couple of days, cause I got it as a replacement, cause my phone broke. I don’t remember much. I know it had a touch screen. Probably it had an android. The only thing I can clearly remember is that it had a unique feature where I could set a theme with animals running across the screen. Each animal represented a missed call or an unread message from a specific person. The theme was built into the phone and wasn’t downloaded from any app store. Please help??¿
i just got a new iphone and when I get messaged or called, the messages or calls go to my old android instead of my iphone, they both have the same phone number. how do I get messages to be delivered to my new phone
edit: i also can't send any messages to anyone on my iphone
I had Samsung phones in the past but want to which from Pixels phone now. Do the Samsung phones still have bloat ware on them?
I want to get a new phone with a better camera. I have an iphone 11.
I was hoping to spend around $500. What do you think I could get? I’m ok with a used/ refurbished phone but I don’t know where to look.
I mainly just want to take better pictures of my kids. Wherever we’re out in groups and the other parents and I share pictures I see how much better they are than mine.
Thank you for your help!
I wish one of the phone manufacturers would put a clip of sorts in the charging port to keep them from coming out so easily, but would still pop loose if you walked away with the phone still charging so it wouldn't fall and break the phone.
I have both the Moto Razr 2024 and the Moto G Stylus 2024. Which one should I use?
Hi, I’ve recently been testing iPhone for a while, I’m considering migrating to it from Samsung S23 that I’ve been using for a year now. Is it a change for better? What do you think?
Hi! I was thinking about upgrading my phone. I have my S10e since it came out but the battery doesn't last long lately. Everything else is oke it does the job for me. I was looking what newer models offer but also see that there are upcoming models in a few months. If I decide to get a newer one, I would like it to be at least 2x 3x better. And the sweet spot seems to be S23 (price/performance). I will for sure wait 25 series but is it worth for you guys this upgrade. Or should I w8 for the battery to die first? What are your reasons when switching? Are you looking at performance, camera features, battery or software support. Or you don't change untill it dies. For me it's an unnecessary expense as long as I don't benefit from it.
How can I teel if a phone screen is good when online?
the screens? stop working after a month, either dont pick up touch or are super touchy and somehow click randomly go into my exs insta?? they also have little black orbs that appear of dear pixels on the sides of the screens gripping towards the center. dont waste ur money, these are the issues with them. they are nifty, but not worth it imo
this was an honest review and im honestly disappointed bc i really liked it
So I have a Motorola Edge 30 Neo. The buttons for raising and lowering volume are weird because for some time they have been bending into an upside down V shape when I press on the edges of the buttons. Yesterday, one of them fell off and the other is coming off too.
So I went to a repair shop and it's quite expensive, and I have a bad feeling that I can't trust them with my phone idk. I found the buttons on AliExpress, and the reviews are mostly good, and some say that they can't seem to put them on. It's much cheaper than repairing it though. Does anyone know any videos or just know how you could put the sound buttons on without going somewhere and having someone do it?
I originally was going to get the 14 but after reading multiple online reviews i saw that it broke a lot... knowing this i completely crossed that choice out of the picture and decided to try and look for something more durable. Ive read that the iPhone 13 is very durable and not prone to break easily, and with someone like myself who easily drops my things i need something that wont break on the first few drops. Ive seen reviews on the iPhone 15 pro/pro max and people have claimed that the back breaks extremely easily - but i've seen nothing on the iPhone 15 plus. My question is which one is more durable? is the iPhone 15 plus more durable and the back glass less breakable (like the iPhone 11 or 13) Another thing is that i use mainly clear otterbox phone cases + a screen protector.
Hello everybody! I've been an iPhone person in the last 8 years. In april I got thr iPhone 15 and I loved it, however, you know Apple and now my battery is playing tricks with me so I chose to just give up on it. A few days ago I got a Samsung Galaxy S24, thinking it's the latest one so it has to be really good, right? Well, no. I hate the camera. Even my husband agrees, the back camera is pretty bad. My old iPhone 6 was taking better pictures and I have proof. So I want to return it and get a new phone, but I don't know what to get. I would tell you the budget, but since I live in Romania, the phone prices differ (as in, the same phone is more expensive here than it would be in US). So, thinking of a good mid-range phone, do you guys have any recommendations? I HAVE TO SAY, even though I am not an IG person, I do love my photos so that is really important to me. Sorry for the long post and thank you to any and everyone who comments. Have a wonderful day and weekend everyone!
A week ago I woke up to my sim card not working. I searched Google for answers, and saw that as a result of being behind on updates, your sim card may stop working. So I updated my phone and after a few minutes my data came back. And then this morning the same thing happened, so I updated my phone and my data didn't come back. Updated it again and it was still gone. I updated my phone one last time (that being the last update I had) and my data returned. Now about 10 minutes ago, my data went away and my phone said I didn't have a sim card. I checked for any updates, but my phone is up to date. Idk what to do. My phone is a Galaxy A53 5G. My service provider is Straight Talk. I need answers ASAP.
Hello everyone, hope you all had a good day.
I have tried getting some info from r/dumbphones but nothing yet.
I've been thinking about getting into using a dumbphone for a while now, about 2 years but never committed to the idea as I wasn't sure if I could pull it off. To be fair, the phones I was researching back then were more outdated and do not allow 4G. I'm just taking my time before acting out and buying one because this will be next year's change. So far, I have been comparing Nokia 2720, Opel Smartflip, and Optus flip 4 to see what might become my first Dumphone!
There are 4 things that I am mostly paying attention to:
Durability: I am a bit skeptical of the Optus flip 4 as the hinge is smaller and, overall, has the same build as Nokia 2780, which I've seen getting loose at the hinge or falling apart.
Hotspot: Many cinemas, restaurants, and events require code scans to access now. Temporally using hotspot so that security can scan a code on my old smartphone would be great.
Large buttons: A nitpick but I am not used to using a keyboard on a dumbphone so I think it will make recognition easier.
GPS: Does not have to be fantastic, I want to be able to rely on my location memory without it but use as a backup while I adjust.
If anyone is currently using Nokia 2720, Opel Smartflip, or Optus flip 4, please tell me your experience. I live in South Australia, so the speed or RAM of the phone doesn't matter because our connection is already garbage. Feel free to recommend other dumbphone brands that you enjoy using.
Thank you!
I don't know if this is the right group to post to, but I am in the process of upgrading to a Flip6 and have made the upsetting discovery that SD card slots have been removed. It is not a total deal breaker, but I'm not sure how to transfer the media files to the next phone. My SD card has about 15GB of media. Any advice?
Edit: I am tight on internal storage, so moving everything over is not a great idea
Looking around ive come to these two being in around the same price in the market these days, so what one would be the best value, I see the a15 will get 5 years of major software support but given the iPhone is from 2020 will it have such same lifespan, just do the basic things given im on a iPhone 6s still but it’s about time to move along, so what would be the best option of these? Previous experience with android does say they don’t lose app support as fast as iOS devices do when they get left behind on os updates
for monetary reasons i had to get a samsung a15 and it may be the phone quality itself or maybe my specific phone is broken... but also i miss having apple, just a personal preference.
I have an old iphone XR and an iphone 14, could i switch my Samsung A15 sim to either of these? i'd prefer the iphone 14, so is it possible to switch my physical sim to an esim?
also, probablu a dumber question.. would this cost my service to be more expensive or no since its technically the same sim?
As well as being able to add a storage card.
I found a Motorola with 256 GB but it doesn't have a built-in FM radio and don't want to add an app for that. Because I have tried radio apps on a phone that didn't have it built-in and the broadcast is always behind compared to a regular radio. Built-in FM radio doesn't have that problem. I've tried searching but can't find one that fits these specifications.
Can anyone help? Please?
The Phantom V Flip 2 is finally releasing on December 13th, and I can’t wait... I’ve been looking for a flip phone that doesn’t cost a fortune like Samsung's. The Dimensity 8020 and HiOS 14 have me intrigued—hoping for a solid performance and some cool features beyond the specs. Excited to see how it stacks up!
My friend is selling a phone with a locked SIM to T-Mobile. My provider is Tello. Am I able to buy the phone because Tello uses T-Mobile's network? If any other clarifications are needed please let me know. Thank you.
I know that S24 Ultra has an extra camera lens and it's a bit bigger, but S24 Plus is the same size (6.7 inches) and same amount of cameras. Is there still something I'm missing or is the phone case compatible with my device?
Dropped it hard, on the concrete.
Unscathed, no case, this thing is as tough as it is awesome! That's all
Samsung for the win
