In antiquity, those in need of advice, would turn to the wisdom of their greatest poet. The Greeks and Romans would take the words of Homer, chop them up, and align them to a matrix of dice rolls. The Homeromanteion was used for guidance, decision making, and even divination. This practice has been revitalized in our modern day: most popularly by William S. Burroughs, who said that if you cut into the present, the future leaks out. ‘Manteions’ have been created for figures as variant as Sappho, Nietzsche, Jim Morrison, and David Bowie. But so far, not for the poet who is considered one of the best American poets, one of the best Queer poets, and one of the best poets period.
Thus, here is the Whitmanteion, taking the words of America’s greatest poet and portioning them in a similar system to the Homeromanteion. Surrounded by some choice poetry of Whitman’s, some introductory essays as to the spiritual and political aims of his immortal Leaves of Grass, instructions for use of the Whitmanteion itself, and an original translation of Federico García Lorca’s Ode to Walt Whitman. Walt once said he contained multitudes: Grab your dice, pour your libations, and hear what he has to say.

Blurb:
Klara doesn't have to think twice when a band of itinerant travelers offer her employment with their company. Eager to escape life as the village whore, she joins the expedition knowing only that the ragged wanderers are destined for the wildlands believed to be the ancestral home of their Goddess. Signing on as cook and huntress, she embarks on an adventure that leaves her torn between hope and fear.
Aided by an unhelpful wizard, Klara finds herself pursued across nations by rabble-rousing religious zealots and ushered into a journey of self-discovery, tapping into a new world of sexual exploration rather than exploitation. Klara's journey catapults her into the lives of a banished nobleman and an exiled king, either of whom may shatter her heart ... or lead to the ultimate betrayal.

I haven't found anything on etsy that really takes my fancy. My budget isnt huge but I'd love an explicitly modern pagan print or painting on a small to medium sized canvas. Ideally it would have some reference to woodland, the horned god and wiccan triple goddess but may also have generic references to the plethora of gods and goddesses that do and may still soon call to me. Anything druidic so based on the awen, Taliesin, Cerridwen or standing stones would also work. Any recommendations?

Heya!
I have some stock left from the winter collection that I want to clear before Bealtaine.
All the tomes are A6, 42 blank, aged pages and leatherette covers with gold/silver leaf designs. I have only one left from each design. Each book is 40€+ shipping.
Well, I'm leaving links for the images, as apparently I can't upload any even from the laptop? It's not an error uploading, the button isn't even clickable. says images aren't allowed here.
