This subreddit is dedicated to looped animations (primarily cinemagraphs) used as desktop backgrounds.

LINKS TO THE VIDEO FILES ARE FOUND IN THE COMMENT SECTION

By using a third party program you can change your desktop background to a video clip, which runs in a continuous loop to make your desktop come to life.

Guidelines for posting:

  • Think of your post as a preview of the background (.gifs, youtube etc.)

  • Always include download link to the video file in the comment section

  • Always include the file resolution in the title or comment section

  • Windows DreamScene supports only WMV and MPG video file formats.

  • Try to keep the file size to a minimum without spoiling the quality. This is to prevent Dreamscene from draining performance from your PC.
