Im more interested in the special publications and was wondering if they are included in the print and digital subscription package. If not, is there a way to subscribe to them?
I live in Norway, but I would like the mag in English. Trying to start up a subscription but I’m not sure if ticking off Norway in the “Delivery Market” box will make it so that my magazines will be in Norwegian/tailored to Norway?
So currently in my painting class, we're making these collage things with magazines. My teacher has a whole cupboard of magazines, a lot being old National geographics. Some are even From the 50's and I was looking through them and I just found the advertisements super interesting!
So my grandparents have a HUGE amount of NG magazines all the way back from 1950s, so my question is, how do i know if there is any value in some of them? And can it even be sold?
i have not looked at each of the magazines so i dont know what specific ones there are... Hope this subreddit is the right one for this kinda of question, and if not what other are there?
I've been looking for a way to see the documentary Japan: Between Earth and Sky, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Could someone help me out?
Okay, not a gold mine. I bought a hoarder's home and found a small collection in the crawl space. I have most of 75' and all of 76' through 97' magazines, including the important ones from those years. Argentina Volcano, Afghan Girl... They are dusty, have rips and tears, and some bookworm. They are all very readable still, though.
So, what do I do with them?
This has been such an awesome documentary and answers a ton of questions as well as bringing the heroism and tragedy to full light. I was wondering if anyone knows what happened to Gregory Warnock? I saw that he made it out and he spoke about fireman Gregg Atlas, but I can't find anything about him besides that.
Hi guys,
Im trying to remember the name of a NatGeo tv series from maybe a decade ago. And need help.
It was a group of people going on a around the world trip (London to S. Francisco maybe? Not sure, but they started in London) and they were driving 3 white 4x4 (I think Toyotas)
Almost certain they didn’t go to any African country.
Thanks!
I am aware that a lot of writers and photographers are freelancers, but how do most get connected with the organization in the first place? I would love more information on this.
I have put together a great collection of national geographic issues for my classroom. However I really need some kind of index so that both myself and students could quickly find resources about a topic. Something that lists for instance the twenty issues which had an article about the Western Roman Empire. Does something like this exist?
There was a Voices Of Reason piece done in one of the 2006 issues that featured Egyptian author Alaa Al Aswany. I can't remember which issue it was, but I'm looking for a quote from that article.
I’m an undergraduate student at Penn State University and I’m dreaming of getting a job at National Geographic in the future. Which major should I pursue? Should I study and get a degree of Geography(B.S)? I’m also a non-US citizen, so does it work for me? Thanks!!
