Is there anywhere in the area that will allow parking overnight in the garage for a very small RV/travel trailer? Looking to hide mine from the hurricane Milton. Vanderbildt Beach doesn't allow it. Neither does Mercato.

I’ve been using this gym for years. It has always been an absolute POS but just recently they closed down citing a “power outage” due to Hurricane Helene.

First they closed for a day, then “open Friday” and now they are “tentatively” reopening on 10/11.

I’m pissed. I pay to go to this shitty gym because it’s close to home but with this absolute BS closure I think it may be time to make a switch. Here’s what gets me- you cannot cancel over the phone and it must be mon-fri in person during specific hours. Every September they charge an annual fee. It’s interesting the timeline in which they’ve closed the doors.

Is anyone else affected by this? Which gym would you switch to and what recourse would you take?

Looking at forecasts and the spaghetti models are coming straight at us. It might be time to go. Milton looks lethal.

Englewood beach is currently closed, but the kids really would like a beach day. Are the beaches in Naples open and the water swimmable? If so, any recommendations on what beach to visit that allows for visitor parking?

We’re a Swedish family of five who’ve booked tickets to Florida, Miami 25th of October.

We’ve rented a cool house (child friendly) in Naples that we were planning on staying at 4 nights.

But my wife is now worried due to Helene. We are planning beaches, shopping etc. How much will Helene ruin for us? Sanibel for instance looks really bad…

We’ve looked at key west as a replacement but it’s sooooo expensive I’m kind of reluctant…

We are driving down to Naples from Michigan next week. I-75 all the way. Does anyone know if we’ll encounter hurricane-related issues? We were told to bring cash because some gas stations and hotels have lost connections. Would appreciate any up to date information/tips.

Hello! My cousin is looking for a wedding venue in Naples. Our club is currently closed for construction, otherwise we'd do it there! So now we are starting at square 1, which is so fun but overwhelming.

Does anyone have any recommendations for wedding venues (including private clubs)? We are looking for something bright and airy that has recently been reno-ed. It is probably going to be around 100-150 people. Not concerned about budget yet, just want to look at options and get some pricing.
