Has anyone else been experiencing these outages last night (between 11/1 and 11/2)? They've managed to wake me up on several occasions due to my lamp turning on and my air purifier booting and rebooting. I'm in one of the Oak buildings.
So bored. Mainly want to go hang out watch a movie, go to Dave and busters, or bowl just something to do. 21m hopefully a 20f to 22f.
I just applied the application for Florida shines. Can someone tell me how it works? I would rather take the online math class at home for flexibility.
Please let know. Also what would happen if I only take one class ?
Am I still an active FGCU student?
The math class I’m taking is Elementary Calculus
Is there a way I can take a math class online? Mostly statistics or elementary calculus? Please thank you. Since I’m a commuter
A long term Dungeons and Dragons group will be opening up, starting next semester. Discord required for communication, we will be meeting at the library at 1:30-5:00. Dungeons and Dragons with small home brew additions, using the new DNDONE rulebooks (I have them so you can share them and I allow you to use stuff from previous rulebooks). Custom made, Zenithal primed miniatures provided by me (using an Anycubic Mono M7 Pro resin printed, MyMiniFactory for the STLs, and high quality, ABS-like resin with spray paint to prime them).
We have me, THE DM And 2 player characters
Looking for 2-3 more player characters max. Sooner you sign up the better. Message me!
Hello everyone! I am opening up a small dungeons and dragons group that will take place on Tuesdays NEXT semester (spring 2025). We could also start this semester if all are willing but we will only be doing one shots since we do not have as much time remaining for this semester. Looking for player characters, new players are welcome as long as you have a passion for RPGs!
Campaign undecided
The DM is the one posting this lol
Bring dice and any books you may want, DM has custom miniatures, books, game board, and everything else provided
Yall should bring snacks to :)
(Last note: we have a Thursday group ongoing right now but that group is closed as it has too many players. None of them said they can make it for the Tuesday group as of right now, so this group will be made up entirely of new people. I hope we can all get along and make this an amazing, awesome, and fun experience!)
if you go to fgcu there’s a halloween party at BACKYARD SOCIAL right by campus and it’s 18+ it’s tomorrow 10/26
How do the business majors compare in terms of outcomes? Do management majors do well upon graduation? How about supply chain management? Is the marketing degree worth the investment?
I’m applying for the fall 2025 semester and sent my application in on August 2nd, SAT August 8th, transcripts September 18. Has anyone gotten in yet, or at least got denied?
Any idea as to what buildings will be checked when? Is there any sort of schedule at all.
thanks :)
Just curious, how do I go about breaking my lease without it penalizing me or my credit score? Or should I just try to sublease my apartment instead? Whatever is easier to get outta my lease. Thanks!
Has anyone taken orgo 1 who would you recommend Pap or Rubniski.
did my application for spring 25. first time applying for housing. does anyone know when we'll know for sure if we got a room? the website is kinda shit at explaining literally anything important and the housing office just tells you to go on the website...
Hi, I am sophomore dual enrollment student at FGCU, and I am going to be a biology major. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for undergraduate research I could do. I am not registered as a biology major in the system so if would have be will a professor whose research is not connected to a class like BSC 4910C. Thank you
so like i'm a senior and i'm scared i wont get in bc i'm not applying early decision: 1140 SAT, 3.3 UW GPA, 4.5 W GPA, 100 volunteer hours, 50 work hours, a part of 5 clubs, and i have taken numerous college classes, and one AP class, dual enrolled in a technical college

Hi all, I’m applying to the MA in clinical mental health at FGCU. I was wondering what my chances of getting in are.. senior psychology major. Work at d/a rehab.. 3.3 gpa .. peer mentor. I know graduate programs are competitive so I wanted to know if I need to improve on some things because fgcu is my dream program. Would love to hear from someone who completed or got accepted.
Anyone know when summer diplomas will come in the mail? Website says 8-12 weeks. It's been 11 now. Losing hope?
I am a sophomore duel enrollment student at FGCU. I currently hoping to join a professor's research project but the project is connected to the senior project research class and you are suppose to be biology major to do that class and because I am a duel enrollment student I am not technically a biology major. I was wondering if I could do the senior project research class as a duel enrollment student or if I should look for a different professor. Also if you guys have a recommendation for a biology professor that is looking for help in research that would be greatly appreciate. Also does it matter that I am not a senior?
I'm debating taking my 9 required credit hours for summer semester all at once. Is that a death wish with a part-time job, or is it doable? Also, are there any specific electives that are best to take in the summer? My gen eds are done because of transfer credits, so I'm out of luck there.
I know that this is pretty early in the year to be thinking about, but I'm trying save some 'easier' classes for summer rather than spring, so it makes sense to ask now. Thanks for any advice you can give!
are assignments still due if school is cancelled? i don't have power & i have an exam due tmrw
I'm an international applicant for Spring 2025, and got an offer from fgcu. Initially I accepted it, and had paid my enrollment deposit as well, but now I don't want to go here anymore. How do I cancel my enrollment and who do I email? I know i won't get a refund on the enrollment deposit but I don't mind.
Are students able to leave cars at the garages during the hurricane? I want to leave mine on the 2nd/3rd floor so it doesn't get damaged, but I'm not sure if were allowed to as the signs in the front say no overnight parking.
Hiii I applied to spring 2025 with a UW:3.1 and a W:3.7 22 ACT 1030 SAT w a few extra cirriculars and 200 work/volunteer hrs plus im graduating a semester early what do u guys think?
I haven't been able to find if fgcu has a specific requirement for how long admission essays have to be.
I'm a senior in highschool and I plan on applying to fgcu. I know the early decision application deadline isn't until nov 1st, but i've been seeing many ppl saying this school is easy to get into as long as you apply early. Does that mean within the early decision timeframe or does that mean when applications opened aug 1st??
I planned on applying sep 1st but I didn't get my sat scores until sep 6th and I've been struggling with writing my essay. I even went on a tour there and they really stressed applying early, that was aug 30th.
My gpa is 3.65 and my sat score is 1130. I know these are good enough to get in but I'm scared i've waited too long to apply. If you have any insight pleaseeee answer! I made a reddit account just to ask this.
