Business major. Just trying to find a link to it online?
Thanks Eagles!
I graduate December 14th for a masters and stupid me forgot to get a cap and gown. Bookstore is only open Monday through Wednesday
I was wondering if it is too late to still get a cap and gown? I would also be willing to buy someone’s old cap and gown if you have one.
Anyone in the IDET masters program? What is the capstone process like?
Just like the title, my school got out for fall break and I'm bored. I have 2 weeks off so I wanted to know what the party scene was like. At my school I do a lot of partying and i was wondering what the party scene like is here. During winter break I'll probably be bored and want to party as well. I know some places like keys, cantina109, Larry's, but because I don't attend FGCU, I have no clue what the vibe is like, how much cover is, or anything. So if anyone has any info including any groupchats on rides/house parties PLEASE private message me🙏🙏🙏
Saw the actual most prettiest girl I’ve ever seen and did absolutely nothing. Laugh and shame me!!!!! I am devastated that I lack such courage to engage with people!
My freind dropped my necklace in the parking lot outside of Mangrove Hall in NLV and we can’t find it.
There will be a cash reward if found!
Hello! Yesterday I received my acceptance letter and scholarship offer from FGCU by mail and it told me to go to my future eagle portal for next steps, but my portal says my application is still under review/pending. Does it just take a few days to update? I already emailed the admissions office but I imagine they won't respond until the weekend is over.
Side Note: how long do I have to reply to my decision? I'm debating on going to FGCU or USF but USF's decision hasn't released yet
Applying for summer semester 2025 as a computer science BS with a focus of SE, thinking of transferring from Florida south western. Don’t see much student first hand experience online, hows the department between the different degrees? Classes interesting, professor great, etc?
My sibling and I are to be freshmen in college next fall and we both applied to FGCU. My sibling just got there letter of acceptance for Summer? But I remember that they said they applied for the Fall semester. Is there a difference in that if your accepted in summer you have to take classes and how would you fix it to where you start in fall?
I would really appreciate if you guys could take this survey its for my final, it’s really short and easy
This is basically me just venting but I am currently a freshman at the university of illinois majoring in political science and data science. I did not get accepted into FGCU and it basically hurt my heart so bad and I just don't understand why. My sat score was a 1200, but I took it with a concussion because I got into a car accident 2 days before the test date and did not get accommodations). I was the president of 4 clubs, had a GPA of 4.5 W, owned 2 businesses throughout high school, and I even started my own magazine with my peers about politics. I also was very involved in ECs as well. My application got put on hold due to my SAT score, but I don't think it's fair considering how much of a well rounded student I am from a holistic standpoint. My family lives in Fort Myers, but put me in a private school in Illinois, so I don't know if there is a bias, since FGCU attracts so many out of state students. I just wish I could know why they didn't accept me, and if it is worth going there next year to be closer to family, have cheaper tuition and to go to a school in a climate I adore.
Hi. I am applying to the MA clinical mental health counseling program for fall 2025. I only need to submit my transcripts and I have a 3.2 current gpa. I was waiting until this semester grades came out to submit them however my current grades for this semester is mostly Bs and with only a few weeks left it’s not looking too positive. Should I send my transcripts now to avoid having this semesters grades there ?
I applied and haven’t heard back but feel like all my friends got their acceptance letters last week. Anyone else who applied early still waiting for a decision?
Hey guys I’m an upcoming FTIC student and I just submitted my application through common app and I checked off that I qualify for application fee waivers. Day or two later I get a email with a temp pin and I created my account and now it’s saying that I have to pay for the fee. I’m looking through the FAQs and only thing it says is to send it, but doesn’t say exactly which email to send it. Also is there some kind of student id code I have to send with it? For example FAU makes you send a “Z” code (special code found in the submitted application).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
As of right now I have a 3.1 unweighted and 3.4 weighted GPA. My school school career I’ve taken honors classes and added some AP classes. But Is that enough to boost my chances of getting in? I’m so scared that I won’t get in. I know that my GPA will change from the 3.1 to higher by May but they won’t be looking at that will they? I just don’t know if I’ll get in with that GPA.
Can I take one semester off at FGCU and take one class at FSW as transient student? I’ll take 4 classes in the summer for FGCU?
Do I need to notify my advisor about this? I already registered my math class. It’s helpful for me because of flexibility being able to work part time and taking care of my grandma.
Is this normal lol? I got accepted today via portal but they said no decisions would be released until December
Hi! I just registered my class at FSW to take my course Math online. (I’m pretty new) Am I still enrolled at FGCU even though I registered my math class at FSW? To satisfy my credit?
Supplementals deadline is 11/15 and my transcripts wont be there for another 7 business days at the earliest.
Submitting Early action to be considered for scholarships. Am I screwed?
How do I add eagle dollars to the CSCpay mobile app? The signs at the Laundromat says it's an option, but the app only asks for your credit/debit card info. It also doesn't ask for your school information and I don't know which Laundromat number to pick for in North Lake.
I have an associates degree with a low 2.2 gpa , any chance I’d get accepted if I applied to fgcu now for spring since the deadline has passed ?
So I was doing my pre-orientation modules, closed my computer to go to the bathroom and when I came back I was closed out of the program. I went to the link to reopen it and now it says that the website is not secure and I cannot access it. Has this happened to anyone else before or just me?
Would you recommend FGCU to someone from NY? Is it mostly local students who go home on weekends? Thinking the area is beautiful and campus looks nice but worried about weekends and eventually affordability of off campus housing. Some of the bigger state schools in Florida just too big so hoping FGCU might be an option.
*Quick post so please mind the typos !*hello yall ! ive been accepted into two schools for the engineering program, i am worried about the costs and ease of classes/support , should i go to fgcu for software engineering or unf for computer science? I would believe i would enjoy this program, for some background i am dual enrolled graduate with an aa degree and i am an instate student .i will have to live on campus for both schools , if anyone has been through either programs/schools, any comments are accepted
I have posted a few times about this with only 3 or so responses. We will be starting soon and I would like to give you guys the opportunity to join now before we have already started! Message me before Tuesday if you are down to join, this Tuesday will be session 0 where we will discuss the campaign and such. New players are welcome! We meet on campus at the library 1:30-5:30 every week, continuing onto next semester as well.
I don’t want to come off as short but don’t join if you are unavailable for the times we set aside lol. I have a Thursday group as well around the same time if anyone is down to join that but slots are super limited, this is an ad for the Tuesday group.
I’ll cya on the battlefield!
I'm sure there are others in the same boat as I am. After hurricane milton hit, it feels like everything went downhill. I was doing so good before the hurricane, but after I lost motivation because it seems like things are still all over the place even though it's been almost a month. My grades have dropped, failing classes, can't keep up with assignments, it's overwhelming.
Anyone else?
Hi! It will only take 2 minutes! Please fill out this survey for my high school brother’s research project.

The service learning didnt accept my hours because the organization I did most of them at isnt a partner anymore. I cant believe this, I already think this service learning requirement is the biggest waste of time and money I have see at this school. I had to take so much time from work to squeeze in these pathetic 3 hour opportunities and now they wont accept them. I have to carry on and take another semester soley to get this fixed and maybe take more. I am considering just leaving the school and not getting my degree, I have completed everything they wanted and now it seems to be for nothing.
