My Daughter applied (OOS) on 11/1. She’s interested in being a Chemistry major and also in the Wilson College of Textiles. She applied to NCSU, did she need to apply to Wilson separately or could she get into that after Freshman year?
I'm registered to take Intermediate Accounting 1 for the Spring, one of the weed out classes.
I took financial accounting over the summer online, and to say the least, I did not retain too much of the information.
So for those who have taken the class, what do you think would be the best way to prepare over the winter break? Should I purchase the Coursepack from Thomas and skim over it, read my old financial accounting textbook, or purchase early access to Cengage? Thanks!
For those who want to see the beauty of campus and take a break from studying finals... the ginkgo tree is super pretty :) (image taken today)
hi everyone! I’m a senior at State and I’m looking into getting my MBA here. is it possible to transition to the MBA program without work experience? I’m in business finance and I have a 4.0. I was #1 of all juniors in spring ‘23 (my roommate told me that a lot of people are #1 so idk) but I fell off in fall ‘23 from having to withdraw from a lot of classes due to personal health problems with my family and having to go home to take care of them. I’m preparing to take the GMAT when I finish my bachelors this fall. I kinda want to try to get into a G7 but I’d prefer to get my MBA sooner rather than wait until I have 3-4 years of working experience. if you have any resources at State to make my resume better for a G7, or just to Duke or UNC (as much as I hate them they do have better rated programs) I would appreciate that a lot! I will most likely get a job at a real estate developer in NC after I graduate, but if it’s possible I’d like to go ahead and get my MBA before then. please let me know, thank you!
I need some help here, I want a specific picture but I lack talent and AI is lacking I need an image of a bald eagle flying in front of an American flag carrying an ar15(majestic, I know) for a project on the second amendment for satirical purposes if anyone could do it I will forever be grateful (and it’s an excuse to procrastinate so why not)
I recently was sent something, and it is being delivered by DHL to campus sometime this week. I've put the address as the Holmes Hall address with my suite # and room (since Holmes Hall is the service desk for my hall). My package requires a signature and I was just wondering how that would work out. Do they hand the package to the front desk and do they sign off for me? Should I instruct DHL to do something different with the package when delivering it?
Has anyone taken MA341 with Jesus Rodriguez at NC State? I was wondering what to expect for the final exam? Like how many questions? Written like the other tests? Is it just like an initial value problem from each section? Any info would be much appreciated!
Is Dr. Ducas final sections similar to the midterms?
Long story short, I’m probably going to finish with a D or D+ in MA141, which isn’t good enough for me to CODA. My current plan is to get a grade exclusion, retake it in the spring, and do Calc 2 at a community college.
I’ve been told I don’t want to use a grade exclusion this early on, but I’m not aware of any other paths that optimize my GPA and make it so that I can get the grades to CODA.
P.S: I want to do CS as a first option, and would like to salvage GPA.
Hello! I genuinely do not think I will pass chemistry. I have a plan of using a grade exclusion and retaking the class over the summer, however, how will this effect me being able to CODA?
Title. I'm considering applying to the online masters in statistics at NCSU. I've done both in-person and online college courses, and while I'll likely need to do an online masters for life reasons, many of my online courses seem to be lacking in interactions with professor/students.
Ideally I'm looking for at least a majority of synchronous courses that have a lecture component (which could be live or could be videos). I am hesitant to invest in a masters that just charges me to read a textbook at my own pace. And ideally I'm looking for significant interactions with other students; I think I and many people learn better that way.
For folks doing online masters at NCSU, is this a realistic hope? Thanks in advance!
I would probably have an outstanding balance until the end of this year. I was wondering could I pay it later this month and before the first day of classes next semester? Would all my classes be dropped if I do not pay the fall balance before December 4th?
I have an amazon pick up return in wolf ridge. does the front desk hold packages for pick up or how does this work
I am thinking about taking MA 502 with Lukas Castle. The content seems pretty interesting, and I am planning on taking MA 405 at the same time. I have already taken MA 341 & 401 and done well in both classes. Has anyone taken this course before, and if so, was it difficult/worth taking? :)
if you are in ACC220 Section 601 PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD COMPLETE YOUR COURSE EVALUATION I NEED THIS EXTRA CREDIT PLEAAASE
I’ve never been to EBII before and I was looking at a professor’s office for next semester which is located in EBII 3295. I looked at the floor plan online but the rooms end after 3240. Could someone let me know how to get to 3295? Is the floor plan incomplete or am I missing something ?
I forgot about an essay for E102 and now I might end up with a D for this, busy work class. I’m scared since I need a C- to coda. Would appreciate any advise
I’m currently taking Dr. Kramer’s CH-101 class, and I wanted to ask for advice about the final exam. For those who’ve taken it, would you say it’s about the same difficulty as the previous exams, or is it harder (or easier)?
Also, how would you recommend preparing for it? If you haven’t had Dr. Kramer but have taken CH-101, I’d still love to hear how your final went and what study strategies worked best for you.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Do someone Know the prices for using the gym, the pool and the atlehtism pist please ?

Thnaks guys, so energize to the idea of going in NCSU !
Who else have an exam before the final exam on Monday or Tuesday?
Found no information about how difficult people found the MA 141 final, is it because our professors are the ones making the exam or something like that? I just wanted some peoples opinions on it and advice lol
i’m currently a firstyear, and plan to continue living in my current village for next semester. do we have to take everything out of the dorm? or can we leave it how it is? also, my last exam is at 9pm a day before the final move-out day, so i was wondering if i had to request for a late start on moving things out or if it’s automatically given to me since my final exam is until late night?
Iv look everywhere and cannot find where to find a transfer advisor for transferring into state. Do I only get one when I apply?
It says that J1 students cannot choose value plan.
I was just wondering is there any group or place to play pick up soccer? I was too late to register for the intramural tournament but I'm looking for a group to play soccer recreationally near campus / Raleigh.
i have schmidt and i am a bit nervous, the final exam practice problems solutions havent been released yet either and i am not really sure what to focus on eek!
Hey folks!
I'm on the hunt for some chill cafes or spots near the university where I can study and get stuff done without too much distraction. If they have tasty and cheap coffee, that’d be a huge plus! Any suggestions?
Are there any graduating seniors who sell or giveaway things on some kind of platform? I’m a freshman and my computer is acting up and I don’t think I can afford a new one right now.
