What do you think about skiing this mi day, conditions wise?
Hi all! My friends booked snow tubing tickets for this Saturday at 5pm. Unfortunately, I was too late to grab tickets and it sold out. Anyone have 2 tickets for the 5pm slot for 2/1 they are willing to sell? Would be greatly appreciated!
Hi,
Went to Creek on Saturday expecting great conditions given the snowfall + the below zero temps for a week expecting an awesome combo of natural and man made snow.
Experienced quite a few spots on Sugar that were icy (similar to what I noticed the weekend before MLK). My theory currently is that they don't know how to deal with the ice that was formed during new years when the temps were 40+ degrees. Does anyone with more experience snowmaking, or a stronger pulse on general slope maintenance know why sugar was so bad given I was expecting the best weekend of my lifetime when I went on Saturday.
Will it be packed on that day (wednesday)?
I’ll preface this by saying this is a very weird ask lol. I’ve been consistently snowboarding at creek for 8 years, I basically grew up on the mountain lol. The problem is that I have no friends or family that ski or snowboard. So when I come to the park, I ride by myself, which is fine most days but honestly it gets kind of lonely? I don’t mind it most days cus it’s easy to just vibe and listen to my playlists and have fun but it sucks that none of my friends know how to ski/snowboard nor are willing to learn. So yea, I am asking if anyone here would be willing to hang out and ride with me some time. For info I am a 22 y/o female and would call myself advanced at boarding though I’ve never really attempted doing terrain parks. But I can handle myself pretty well otherwise. But also if anyone just wants to DM and chat before wanting to meet up that’s fine too :)
Does Mountain Creek rent just helmets?
I assume there will still be a ton of snow, but does anyone think the ice will be a problem? It has been extremely cold these past few days so I would assume trails will be very icy.
First time going to mountain creek on Friday. So I see that there are 3 tiers of parking. Free, $20, $50. Where is the free parking. The notes say there is a premium lot and free lot across from Red Tail Lodge. Where is that? All i see is the cobblestone village lot.
Then, how long a walk is this? It looks like i have to cross some ped bridge?
thanks for your help.
Going here for the first time. Bought the triple pass. I usually ride Hunter or Jiminy Peak. What should I expect on Saturday? Looks like it’s gonna be brick this whole week so I’m expecting lots of ice
Have you ever been able to refund your tickets by talking to the staff there even if their policy on the website states their day tickets are non refundable?
Planning on going soon, never used Groupon to get a lift ticket but the prices are about $30 better than the mountain creek website. Is there something I’m missing?
Hey would any Mountain Creek employee be able to hook me and my one friend up with free day passes? Would be greatly appreciated! Currently just graduated school and don’t have enough funds to go multiple times this season. Thanks again!
Hi all! I’m planning to go skiing at Mountain Creek in early February. This will be my first time skiing, and I have a question: do they have rentals for ski clothes like jackets, pants, goggles, and gloves? If they do, how much would it cost approximately? Thank you!
I’m heading to mountain creek with my family of 6. We thought we booked a place with a heated winter pool, but I was mistaken. Does anyone know of any places with a heated pool in February? Thanks for any input.
I know it's pretty crowded on weekends, but what's a good time to be there if weekends are the only option?
I know it's super early but trying to see if I should plan to buy a bike park pass. I live in NYC and have no car, are there shuttles or something during the bike season? Trying to avoid renting a car, too expensive since I am riding solo.
I got the 24/25 spring pass last year. First dumb question- the pass works for now right not only spring time (I’m 99% sure on this just making sure ) Second dumb question -is there anything I have to like re activate when I get to the mountain. Thanks in advance
Anyone have a promo code for Triple Play pass?
Hi, I'm a beginner skier who's only done skiing once in upstate NY(can do green trails). I found these triple play packages on MountainCreek's website but they seem tooo good to be true. https://mountaincreek.com/skiing-riding/tickets-passes/triple-play/
For example, the single day GO package (includes rental+lift) is 139$ while the 3x GO package is only 149$ (includes rental+lift) and we can go anytime during the season. I think this is a good deal to learn this season for someone who doesn't own any equipment except a helmet. So I wanted to confirm if I understood correctly and they provide the required equipment (ski+ boots) with lift access for 3 days. Has anyone bought this package before?
Will be my first time skiing at mountain creek and curious if anyone has any opinions on if it’s worth going considering the warm weather and rain we just got.
