So I started a series of videos going over the history of the different Mega Man series, and I am now at Zero, working on the script. I played the Zero games a long time ago, but know most of the story. I am playing each game, writing the portion of the script, then playing the next one, and so forth.
My question I am wanting to ask is does the games go over all the details of the Elf Wars as the games progress? I mostly want to know as I am not sure if I need to touch upon it before talking about the first game, as my past videos just go over the events and what is said in each game iduviduatlly, but Zero has a LOT of lore going on, so I don't want to miss something, say something to early, or something of the like. I will know soon as I am going through the games now, but I wanted to be prepared a bit while forming the rough draft of this video. Any help and opinions are greatly appreciated.
I'm playing through the collection, and while 1 was brutally hard, i was in a pretty nice groove-i didnt bother with retries at all (to not hurt my score), i died, it took me to the game over menu, i'd hit load from save, and just talk to ciel and im back in.
But with 2 since lives are now more prominent/actually function like lives, you die once and it just puts you back to the beginning of the level/boss door. Does this kill my score just like a retry in 1 would?
I'm assuming it does. And if so--to get another fresh retry like I would in 1, i have to open the collection menu, return to title, load game, run from ciel to uh mission giver guy, he talks way too much for this process, and THEN im in.
So do using lives kill your score in this game, and if so, is there a more effective way to get back to a fresh retry than using the collection menu?
I mean, they're both old men that have their lives prolonged, albeit by different means. they both had giant superweapons that shoot lazers at some point, they both died on said stations, and said stations both had items important to the protagionists plots (the sith wayfinder on the death star, the W cores in ZX). they were both cyborgs at some point (weil after the elf wars, and sidious on his giant hook thing in Ep. 9) and they are both crazy and have cyborg bodyguards that look scary!
oh, and they both have blonde protagonists with green lazer swords trying to kill them.
Hey guys,
Playing Zero one and I am in the Arcadia Core although don’t have the ice chip, am I able to go back and get it somehow for the final boss fight?
Cheers
A lot of people seem to think you have to mash through the text. Why? On PS4 with you push the options button it gets right to the fight and skips all dialogue. Was this put in a patch or something because I see people complaining about not being able to skip boss dialogue when they lose and go back to a boss.
Sorry if this has been asked before and I didn't catch it.
I played Megaman Zero 2 or 3 long time ago on advance or something and haven't played any since.
I finally got around to the Megaman Zero collection because I've been waiting to get it! But I super suck!!! Lol
I know learning patterns of enemies and placement is a good thing to start with but do you guys have any tips? I am having fun but when I get to the bosses I just get destroyed! Is my best bet just keep at it until I get lucky enough to win? Any advice will be amazing

Bought the collection and didn't remember that there was this much grinding in the first game. I never played anything after the second game. Does the grinding get better as the games go on or do I really have to kill boars in the forest for three months before everything is leveled up?
