Home burned down a month ago and I finally got a place I can call home! Extremely blank and sad now but I finally have my own spot I get to decorate.
Realized white sheets stain way too easily and need a different color. I also have a throw blanket for the bed but need to find a new comforter color and sheet combination
So I have a memory foam mattress (queen). I kind of want to get a new foundation. The main thing I care about:
In that order.
I was just looking at Ikea's options but all of them seem to have reviews complaining about both of those points. Alright, maybe I need to go higher price... so where should I look? If I go to the big furniture stores, am I just going to get ripped off? Is there a brand or model that is generally well regarded?
My guard station bedroom this summer fighting wildfires in Oregon. Only the essentials.
Hi there some context Single, 29M, working 60 hour weeks (1 or 2 nightshifts per week) 4 year contract in a little town, looking for an apartment since currently living on a company apartment.
I'm really on the fence about renting a 1 br vs 2 br apartment, second br would be a guest room/place where I can work/study (at least 3 times a week) away from the livingroom/kitchen or to have guests over. Downside would be costs since they are 30% more expensive but still under 30% of take home money.
Mind giving out your opinions on whether you'd rent a 1 br to save money/invest or just go for comfort and rent a 2 br.
