Looking for a daily hair styling product that helps me style my fluffy hair without damaging it.

I have a curtain cut hair style, something like this but a very messy version of that https://imgur.com/a/v7VwEMS

What I want is a styling product that will keep hold my hair lightly while not damaging it.

I have trouble keeping my hair down. My hair is much longer than the picture above and very dry and messy. It gets very frizzy and unless I wet my hair it always looks like I just woke up(thats how messy the hair is).

I tried looking for a solution on the internet and there are far too many options and I was even more confused. Gel, Wax, Pomade, Clay, Mousse, Cream..

Looking for a product that

1.I can use daily without damaging or breaking my hair.

2.Holds my hair lightly so it looks like the above picture.

Questions

1.If I go out multiple times a day do you use it every time or just once in the morning?

2.Do you have to shampoo your hair daily to remove this product? Can you sleep with this product in your hair?

3.Does it damage or break your hair?

4.Is it greasy?

5.I also go out multiple times a day so maybe I have to apply that product multiple times a day too?

I live in the netherlands so it would be great if you reccomended a product that I can buy easily from here.

Fashion advice for a burn victim

I have burns all over my arms due to a cooking accident a few months. There is no injury left and at this point the scars are nothing more than an unaesthetic thing. They are only in my arms. What can i do to look good even with them?

Is there a way I could pay someone to help me to a complete makeover?

So far all I've been doing is work and study and have exhausted myself to the point I stopped taking care of myself.

considering my face/body I don't think I'm very attractive. I'd like someone to give me proper tips from my hair to eyes, skin, lips, beard, gym, fashion sense, hygiene, probably even mannerisms, etc.

I've never really given much attention to myself ans have "let myself go" so it seems very overwhelming all at once and I guess I'd prefer a more "individual" mentorship/guidance when it comes to this.

Need advice. all I do is work and sleep

Need advice: all I do is work, eat, sleep, repeat

I’m part of a family business so my schedule is as follows

M-F: 8:30 to 7 Sat: 10 to 4 Sun: 11-4

I wake up tired and dreading to go to work and after I come home I smoke weed, and binge YouTube until 11 or so

I don’t really do much else and I feel like I’m in a rut. I want to workout, meditate, and do things I like doing but I always fall back into this cycle, I need some help

Should I lie to the doctor

(16M)

Symptoms:

I have been experiencing pain under my left testicle, near or on the epididymis. The pain is triggered by touch or physical activity and when I sit or sleep in an uncomfortable position. The level of the pain is influenced by the amount of weight I lift or the amount of pressure applied to the testicle, it doesn’t hurt unless I touch it.

Pain Timeline:

The pain has been persisting for approximately 3 weeks, but it has slightly become less intense.

Other Conditions:

In addition to the pain, I have a small hydrocele in the same area as the pain. It is not firm to the touch and does not change sizes, indicating that it may be a non-communicating hydrocele. I noticed its presence 3 weeks ago when it initially felt swollen and firm, but now it’s not. the hydrocele itself does not cause pain, the testicle does.

History:

3 weeks ago…….. I was lifting and then hit my testicle with the dumbbell, I felt pain in the stomach, and felt like I was about to vomit.

So now that you know the story, should I lie/withhold information from the doctor?

Because I am aware of the cause of my symptoms, which resulted from accidentally hitting my left testicle with a dumbbell, I am contemplating whether or not to disclose this information to the doctor. My hesitation stems from the desire to increase the likelihood of receiving an ultrasound examination. If I were to inform the doctor about the injury, they might not consider it an emergency case of testicular torsion, given that the symptoms have persisted for three weeks. In such a scenario, the doctor might advise me to manage the pain and wait for it to improve, unless it significantly affects my daily life. However, by withholding the information about the injury, the doctor may consider the cause of my symptoms as unknown, potentially increasing the chances of undergoing an ultrasound examination,

But if I withhold information, the doctor is unlikely to believe me and may think I'm lying.

Doctor: So you're telling me the pain suddenly appeared and hasn't gone away for three weeks?

Me: ummm……yeah, exactly.

Furthermore, if the doctor proceeds with an ultrasound and finds no abnormalities, because I know they won't detect any changes in the structure of my left testicle. Because I recognise how my testicle feels…….. I have been doing self-examinations daily for a year. Despite this, I feel the need for an ultrasound because I’m a hypochondriac, but if the ultrasound only reveals a small hydrocele that isn't even visible, it may lead the doctor to doubt my honesty. It's not that I'm concerned about the doctor's opinion or afraid of the examination itself. rather, I'm embarrassed of my parents not believing me, and I can’t discuss the situation with my parents. I need someone to strongly convince me, as I currently do not plan to go to the doctor due to this embarrassment.

It’s a dilemma

Tell truth: unlikely to get an ultrasound, go back home and wait the pain out until it gets better, which it is already getting better.

Tell lie: likely to get an ultrasound, but when I do there wouldn’t be any evidence and would be perceived as a liar.

Good high quality work underwear for sensitive skin?

I've wondering If there's a company that makes good, high quality work underwear for those with sensitive skin? And maybe a preventive to chafing? I often work anywhere from 7-14 hours on my feet, and without any sort of pad between the top of my boxers and my skin, it tends to dig into my skin, and either give me a rash or an assortment of annoying pain that lasts the entire day. I wear darn tough wool socks so price isn't necessarily a issue. I've heard duluth amachilo boxers are good but I've never heard of them. Is that true?

Boxers for slim jeans that don't bunch up

So I'm an out and out millennial who still wears slim fit jeans most of the time. (I know, old hat but I'll never be convinced by these big baggy parachute trousers which are now the trend).

But whatever boxers I wear underneath always bunch up, end up digging in and becoming uncomfortable.

I normally just wear the CK standard type but they're quite bad for it. Bjorn Borg cotton stretch ones are really comfy but also roll up. Tried a few other brands too, but don't see much different.

Anyone have any recommendations for brands that are comfy and don't do this under slim fit jeans? Step one look like they might but I've seen mixed reviews!

Underwear or nay? Seems like a choice between hygiene and comfort

I get super annoyed by undees. The bunching, the elastic band, the tightness, the whole feeling. I'm always adjusting.

I tried going commando, and it pretty much solves this for me. A lot more comfortable. BUT, downsides are the seams inside pants can be a new source of discomfort, and you have to wash your pants afterward (just like washing underwear after one use).

So now I'm trying to figure out how to make going commando better. I haven't found any great solutions, so I decided to try and make my own thing. It's basically a liner for pants, meant to simulate going commando, but it's removable for washing. I think of it as making the pants wear the underwear, so I don't have to.

Does anyone relate to this struggle?

Have you found any good solutions?

Basically, I'm trying to figure out if there is already better way to go about this. If not, maybe I will keep working on this project.

It's been tough to explain with words, so I made a little/dumb explainer video. Hopefully worth a laugh at least:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzs4Ctq03w4

Disclaimer: Like anyone who makes a thing, I wonder if this could be a real product someday. There is a link in the youtube description connecting to a super basic website that is just there to explain, and at most collect interest. Super early stages here. For now, it's mainly a personal quest to be more comfortable in my own skin.

How to remove white deodorant stains on black clothing?

So I’ve been looking around the internet and Reddit to try and find some clues as to why these gif awful white splotches appear on the underarms of my black shirts after washing. Everywhere has said that my deodorant, degree ultra clear, is the best to defend against stains but I’m still left annoyed after each wash and seeing the same thing again and again. I’ve recently moved to a college dorm and have been using their washers and driers, it’s possible that they have something to do with it.

These are all band shirts that are basically irreplaceable and need some help on fighting these stains.

Should I avoid drying them on high heat? Switch to a new deodorant? Switch detergents? I’m at a loss!

Any and all help would be amazing!

Hard Wearing Boxer Trunks

My job means I regularly walk over 50k steps a day at least and I can never find a pair of underwear that will last more than 3-4 months without the gusset getting holes and chafing the inner thighs.

I thought I'd splash out on a pack of Calvin Kliens and they only lasted a month!

Can anyone recommend a brand that will last?

How to manage your space if you have skin issues?

I have severe eczema, atopic dermatitis, and want to manage my room better for living and hopefully for company to stay over. This condition causes lots of dead skin and sometimes small blood stains to accumulate on the sheets. This subject was not deemed "eczema" enough on the common sense sub for it, so I'm asking here.
I'm back on Tinder, working out, and dieting to get some goals crossed off in 2024. I want to be able to have a remote IT job, and have overnight guests in 2024. A major concern of mine is my room. I know that the right person will overlook a mess in the heat of the moment, but I would like to make it as easy as possible for them.

Has anyone ever beaten laziness? How did they do it?

Laziness is such a self-serving, vicious cycle. I’m lazy because it feels good to be lazy, I’m not going to beat laziness because I’m too lazy to read about how or do the work required, etc

Just feels like a mountain that I have to climb yet it’s also tied around my ankle. Has anyone ever beaten laziness and gotten past that point in their life?

Looking for a winter jacket

I will take a road trip from Wyoming to Vancouver for 8 days in late March. The weather outlook as of now looks to be around 5 C degrees to 0 C. I also want the jacket for camping in cold regions in Mexico, around -5 C to -10 C. I have a budget of 300 USD, but willing to pay more if needed. As of now, I like the Patagonia Jackson Glacier Jacket and the Isthmus Parka. The North Face has some jackets like the McMurdo, and Carhartt has some nice options too.

Need an eternal trimmer

I'm sick and tired of low-quality trimmers.

Last time I spent $100 for a trimmer and it still turned out to be mostly plastics inside (which, of course broke days after warranty ended). Then I had to repair the holder myself, because 100$, and then the button broke. I threw it away!

I want something like in the old days - indestructible, almost entirely metal, non-corrosive, no matter if it weighs a ton - like my grandpa's shaver, that could be used for shearing sheep and a brutal murder as well!

I couldn't find any myself, because for some reason in the past few weeks the search engines are dogshit, sooo.... help a brother out?

What do you wear to tackle sweat?

Best clothing to wear to tackle sweat?

It getting into summer I'm also a little over weight so I sweat a lot a more, i also deal with chafing by the thighs as well.

And a lot of my clothing are just too tight. I'm also doing gym but tbh I just clothing that more breathable especially for humid days. I basically die on humid days.

The most I've seen are tradies and step one but there websites don't sell underware in packs. Also what about shirts and pants?

I also need underwear that could help with chafing I believe long leg is recommended

I'm also from Australia

Odor from my ass

Hi, around 2 months ago a issue started, my butt has smelly odor and I am very hygienic and always have been, the more I sweat / stay in place it develops even more strongly and I can not see a doctor in real life for it. I am 15 and even right after I wash / shower a few minutes it comes back. If I am in a body of water / bath and I spread my legs I can feel stinging in a certain area also. My doctor as laughed about this to my mother and said that is not possible, this is why I am on reddit. Please help.

Underwear to stop thighs from rubbing aganist each other?

I deal with chafing as well and sweating.

But I feel like I did get bonds but they feel comfortable but I think there too small or don't really reach the thighs too much

I have an issue where my legs are always resting against each other so I feel like shorter shorts don't do well.

I do hope this makes sense

Best for every day wear wool socks?

I am noticing my socks that I've had for years are starting to give way at the seams, so I think it's time to upgrade. Looking for merino wool socks that are regular sock weight. I have a few pairs of Darn Tough socks that I absolutely love when I'm hiking, but now I'm looking for something lighter for every day wear. Bonus if they're low cut or ankle high for wearing with shorts in the summer.
