I am tired of dressing this same way for ages and have no idea how to start dressing differently. I went to a shopping mall today and everyone looked unique in the way they dressed compared to myself. Any ideas?
Looking for a quality knit sweater under 500 USD. I normally like an oversized. Something comfortable but tough. I like crewnecks and cable knits but doesn’t have to be either of those. Just something thats the best quality I can get for that price.
I have a work event coming up and was told that the dress code is to wear "cozy chic attire." For the life of me, I can't figure out what that means.
When explaining please understand that I have worn jeans and one of around 5 slightly different short sleeve button down shirts every single day for around the last 20 years. I do not know fashion and will likely not understand anything outside of very basic terminology.
It’d help me a lot tbh
Hey Everyone,
I was super pumped to bring this black trenchcoat home from a vintage shop in Japan, but there are these slightly elevated ripples in it that I can't get rid of. I both took it to a dry cleaner and tried to iron it underneath a towel to no avail. Any idea what they are or how to get rid of them? Is the top layer of the coat just messed up? Images below.
Thanks!
Does anyone know of any decent sweatshorts or French Terry shorts that are 100% cotton (or at least 90% cotton) that are less than $60? (Preferably in a classic heather or melange grey)
I’m a more heavy set guy, I really enjoy dressing well. What are good kind of bases for a disco/70s style wardrobe that wouldn’t make me look like a disco ball or John Travolta? I want a more subdued vibe, but wouldn’t mind a bigger more brash look for social events (mainly stuff like clubs).
I don’t even know if this question makes sense, I just want to know where y’all’s minds would go with the kind of vibe I’m thinking of.
Hey everyone! I am going for the casual but nice pants / jeans look, with a button-down shirt - untucked if at home, tucked depending on the type of in person meeting (maybe a quarter zip over it), with sneakers for fall/winter in the NE USA.
I am a lot of pants similar to the Vineyard Vines ON THE GO pants.
What types of button down shirts do you recommend that aren't too casual, that allow for WFH and can be untucked but also are good for an in person meeting and can be tucked if necessary?
I am having trouble finding a brand where I can strike a balance. Everything is to casual or too dressy for me.
Open to suggestions!
Hi all,
I live in Europe and love the general silhouette of the Wrangler Wranchers. In Europe these are particularly difficult to get a hold of, and are much more expensive than in the US. Does anyone have any suggestions for any alternative similar cut trousers/jeans?
I’ve been wanting to buy new clothes and I see ones I like but most of them are all 100% polyester. I’ve heard people say to not buy polyester clothing and that it’s not breathable and will make you sweat but natural material clothing is just too expensive for me, so cost wise should I get polyester clothing like sweatpants and jackets and hoodies? I live in Dallas so it’s still in the 60s-80s here so I assume it might not be the best choice but based on my budget what do you guys think
Just looking for some quick advice, and what is probably a stupid question: I usually wear single breasted, and I can throw them over a hoodie, sweater, shirt etc and be as casual or smart as need be, but I've wanted to get a double breasted coat too, can you do the same? Dress it up for work and then casual for the weekend?
Guys my blauer have U.S.A instead of U.S.A. any help??
I fell in love with the Maison Margiela all black GATs and was trying to look for more affordable alternatives and I couldn't find anything that was within my budget and in stock. Any ideas?
I'm heading to Korea (Seoul, Busan) and Japan (Tokyo, Osaka) for a couple of weeks and I'd like to hear any suggestions of local stores or brands that are worth checking out.
I am mainly looking for things of good quality, that I could only get while there. I am mostly interested in workwear, accessories, graphic tees, or colorful/printed items. I'm not looking for a particular style, so I'm open to any ideas.
Hello guys? Between Hey Dudes and Skechers, which one is your personal favourite?
Are tank tops in? I'm seeing a lot of men on TV wearing them all over the place. I've even seeing people wearing them under a blazer or suit jacket which looks nice if I'm being honest. Mainly the undershirt style tank tops that used to be known as wife beaters.
I bought a suit online from empireoute.co about a month and half ago and never received it.
Now the website is no longer in services and nobody is responding to emails.
Does anyone know if they closed?? Did I just get stiffed for $350???
I’ve thought about getting either one of these shoes, but haven’t made a decision. Which do yall think is best? I know both are easy to style but I don’t really know how to style with shoes either.
Hello!
Took the wool pants of my suit to do some adjustments and the tailor, who looks reputable, asked me if I wanted him to remove the lining from the pants.
According to him the inside lining is crap material and he said that, when he tailor suits on demand, he never does lining for pants because it's not necessary.
My worry is that the material of the pants feels really thin and I think the lining protects it, but he said it really doesn't at all.
Any opinions?
Basically title. My general style is either band/nerd T shirts or aloha shirts. With them, I wear blue jeans, khakis, or cargo shorts. I want to step up my game, but keep the aloha shirts, because many people give me compliments on them and I just generally like the aesthetic. Any ideas on how to improve?
Thanks in advance!

Hey! I have gotten really in to vintage and japanese americana and western wear lately but i am having a hard time finding fair priced and reliable online stores in the EU. Some sites have worldwide shipping but it is usually as expensive as the piece im trying to obtain. Does anyone know of any good sites and/or brands easily available in the EU?
I’m looking for a new pair of jeans and Uniqlo seem to have good reviews on their denim. Can you recommend a specific type and why you like them?
Typically i go for stretch for the comfort, but seen some recommend the selvedge denim. I’d really like some real opinions on which is best and why you think so.
i am going to an event in Florida that will be on the beach and not black tie, i am planning on wearing a suit with a T-Shirt but i often have an issue doing that because the color of my T-shirt's (always crew neck and always brand new)... won't stay straight or "neat" with the suite jacket underneath.
Does anyone have reccomendations for a good T-Shirt to wear under a suite?

Looking to buy big pants (price limit around $100-200) that are retro and like really big because I am super tall (6’ 5”). Any small instagram brands that around knows about that have this? Going for Ben Slackin aesthetic but I’m too intimidated to start getting actual reps. Also open to shirts that are cool looking.
Does this look weird with my shirt hanging out?
(All of my nice clothes are either black or dark)
I have a dark blue/black polo shirt, a blue and red polo shirt that makes me look like a dad, black jacket with prints on the back (i think it's called a jordan jacket), black slacks with a string instead of a zipper, about 6 pairs of jeans, 1 black necktie, and i think 5 black t-shirts with prints (yu-gi-oh, 2 pumas, 1 money heist and 1 tom playing the guitar shirt)
Has anyone bought sweaters from MC2 Saint Barths? The brand seems to have some negative reviews online but I like some of the designs. Looking for some first hand opinions about them
I love the Paul Smith classic striped socks. They’re nice and comfy and the perfect look peeking out below my cuffs. However I recently bought a set and they all wore through the heel in the first two hours. Seriously bummed I spent $90 on shit socks.
Can anyone recommend socks that are very similar in stripe style as Paul Smith but better quality?
